I was worried about cleaning the Atzer lens for the first time. Glad you did a video on this. I also like the cleaning kit you put together. It looks like a good tool to have on hand. Thanks for another awesome video!🙂

Thanks! Yeah, I was super nervous myself. Glad it all worked out great.

Than I s so much. I used a pair of hemostats to get the tube on correctly. Neddle nose plyers would also work. Enjoy your content and attitude.

I just stretched it as best I could, then re-attached it. Blow through the top hole to make sure it is flowing through correctly. Best I could come up with. Poor design, but I love the laser.

I burned a hole in the lense in the first 24 hrs. What's crazy is they don't even sell a replacement lens on their website other than the $50 kit that comes with one lens, a few screws, and belts. And they are definitely taking their sweet time getting back to me about it also.

I think they are pretty universal. Forum's on Facebook or Redit should be able to help. They look like this one www.amazon.com/ATOMSTACK-Protective-Original-Replaceable-Optical/dp/B0BY2JZ2RZ/ref=sr_1_34

A bit off topic, but did you add the thumb screws for the Z/head dovetail? Good idea, regardless. I have the Ikier and mine has grub screws. If you know, could you advise the thumb screw size you used? Looks like about M3? Fine/coarse? Length? Knurled dia?

It is the way it came, I am not sure. I guess this was one more change they made (and for good)

I think it is a pretty standard lens cover. Try Ventauri on ETSY (and TH-cam). He sells replacements

Terrible design. Should be easy to clean everyday.
Should screw in like a camera lens
