- Rapa Nui sisters play as they await the dancers and musicians. Fabulous dancing all the way from Rapa Nui aka Easter Island, territory of Chile. 150 Rapa Nui came to FestPAC! They make their costumes from chicken feathers, shells and tapa cloth, and speak Spanish, Rapa Nui and some English.

It is amazing that so many vibrant and beautiful people live on the small island of Rapa Nui! We visited in 2008 during the Tapati Festival and were blown away! (Please see TH-cam video) I had expected to be impressed by the giant Moai statues which we were, but I had no idea that the people were so exciting and handsome, and in my opinion, the best Polynesian dancers with men so strong and athletic, dancing with "liquid hips!"
