It’s been a few years since y’all released this video and it’s still helping people! So much good information. Can’t wait to go home after work and play right for once 😂
I'm so glad i found your channel. It's helped a lot. I have 2 questions. If you have an asset or event skill booster around, does it get discarded after use or is that only for event cards? Are they automatically used if in your play area or do you have to commit them? We're trying to figure out when things should be discarded vs exhausted
Assets stay in your play area and you can use them multiple times depending on what the card text is. Events go straight from your hand to your discard pile when you play them. Hope this helps.
Skill cards are like Events that you can only commit to a Skill Test. We have a video all about them in our tutorial series. You might find it helpful. th-cam.com/play/PLe0fNHJx4QhQxoiYdP4a32_61WNG_a7_v.html
I've played this way: with the physical training card I have a constant +1 in willpower and combat. I can also spend resources to increase them. I don't understand if I have the constant +1 or if I have only +1 when I use resources.
Yeah I was confused by that too, why have the icons on the top left if the boost isn't constant? That's just confusing.... Because other assets give you the boost.
Hi arkham chronicle, i have a question. Can you also skill boost cards like .45 automatic and shotgun? Say I have a .45 automatic, can I spend all 4 ammo in one action to gain 4 combat and deal +4 damage?
No. Do you see how these have an "action" arrow"not a "free trigger" lightning bolt? This means you must use one of your three actions and remove one of the Uses tokens for a single effect. You can't spend more than one token on an asset at once. Did you watch our video on Assets?
I've been playing wrong. hey, I already backed for your shwag Kickstarter, can I drop another 99 pounds of great old one pledge additionally on the Kickstarter back and get a video on the rules for people too lazy to read the rules? I know it would be a big ask, but I will back an additional 99 pounds for that. I ask because it won't tick off the box for the great old one back if I do that on top of my current pledge.
If we can settle on a video idea you like we can tell you how to get both pledges at once. We have sent you a message through Kickstarter to discuss your idea.

Awww, thank you so much! how kind.
I've just recently got into AHLCG. Been going through your vids - heaps of great info, and amusing! Thanks
Awww, thanks mate!
Why would the physical training be in his threat area. It's no enemy or weakness.
Hey, well spotted. We should have said play area. Nice catch!
Wow! Really really helpful ..thanks for this. On 2:16 when committing card on your hand (cat burglar) will the cat burger be discarded after this?
Any cards you commit to a skill test are discarded after use.

@@ArkhamChronicle That does help. Are skill cards like asset cards? Or are they exhausted after use?

Thx for the vids , really useful info , cheers
You are very welcome!
I've been playing wrong too. great advice
Glad we could help.
Well . . . me too. Sure am glad you blokes are around. You do great work!
Oh! Well now those cards seem very useful.
Wow, I imagine being able to spend multiple resources on free action skill boosts is something A LOT of people don't realize
That's why we make these videos :)
Yes I thought it was a once per skill check thing.

are u saying the asset cards boost my stat the entire game without paying with resources?
When players commit cards they are used up and end up in discard pile correct?
Correct.
I've played this way: with the physical training card I have a constant +1 in willpower and combat. I can also spend resources to increase them.
I don't understand if I have the constant +1 or if I have only +1 when I use resources.
Physical Training only gives you a boost when you pay resources.

Hi arkham chronicle, i have a question. Can you also skill boost cards like .45 automatic and shotgun? Say I have a .45 automatic, can I spend all 4 ammo in one action to gain 4 combat and deal +4 damage?
Same with First Aid. Can I spend all 3 supplies to heal 3 damage?
No. Do you see how these have an "action" arrow"not a "free trigger" lightning bolt? This means you must use one of your three actions and remove one of the Uses tokens for a single effect. You can't spend more than one token on an asset at once. Did you watch our video on Assets?
So these bonuses are not permanent correct? They go away after each skill test?
That is correct.
