- Huge thanks to Johnny Rzeznik for performing at our Link Lounge show at Whiskey River here in Charlotte! Before the show, we sat down with Johnny to talk about the Goo Goo Dolls' latest album, plus he tells us why he's not that big of a fan of social media.

I have to say that the way he feels about life and the world really reminds me of the punk attitude of a lot of the true punk guys. Doyle and Glen and that whole late 70s attitude. Really hasn’t changed his mindset just the way he chooses to express it in his music.
I feel the exact same way about politics! Also I’ve been raked through the coals on Twitter by POS pretending to be me & causing some to hate me. Not fair at all! I’m a humble & loving gentle human being who puts love above all else regardless of what others may say!!! “We are we are the soul in the machine” can’t you see? Don’t you see? Wake up zombies & let your humanity show is what I want to scream across lands!!! Bravo John well said - all of it & as for the trolls causing havoc - f*** them they’re not worth one thought in your beautiful mind ♥️

sage I’m sorry that you’re in so much pain that you feel the need to lash out at him like this. You are a stripper I gather from other posts you have written. Don’t be ashamed if you’re doing what you love to do but don’t take your anger out on innocent people either. What’s fair is fair. You probably need to forgive and move on or it will eat you up inside. Please go get some help in figuring this thing out before it kills you. I’m a compassionate person who recognizes someone who is crying out for help. Namaste 🙏
