I love oasis and I’ve always sort of found it refreshing how honest and blunt both of the brothers are. If you don’t like them, they don’t legitimately seem to care. Even if you do like them it seems as well. The conflict between those two brothers will likely never end, even if they ever do get back together.

He started with The Vandals, he's the drummer for A Perfect Circle, he used to play for NIN. Yes he's played for pop artists because that's how he makes his money. He's a hell of alot more than "Katy Perry's drummer."
A good example of people from other backgrounds, listening to the way people who grew up from the Oasis background talk to each other normally (banter, wind-up, sense of humour, straight-talk) and interpreting it as drama of beef.. Spend one night in any UK council estate pub in the 80s or 90s and unless youre used to it, you'd end up feeling like you left with your pants pulled down. Its not beef, its just peoples way round here... You're never left guessing, thats for sure...

You can't deny that LG has been far more successful than his brother (even NG agrees), either. Noel shouldn’t feel so insecure. Grohl helped Liam with song writing. He needs to deal with it. Grohl seems to be an overall enthusiast for genuine rock groups, especially his contemporaries who also came out of the 90s. No harm, no foul. Now that the reunion/tour has been announced I think about how Liam said the exact same thing about Noel in interviews, “I’m not calling him. He has to call me first,” the same exact jab/dare. Liam also claimed it was Noel who’s the one who doesn’t want to get back together. Maybe it was planned for longer than we think.

Noel is just pissed that Foo Fighters had a sold out show at Cardiff Principality Stadium a couple weeks ago (over 60,000 capacity) and Noel has yet to sell out his Cardiff Castle show in a couple weeks (10,000 capacity)

Noel shouldn’t feel so insecure. Grohl helped Liam with song writing. He needs to deal with it. Grohl seems to be an overall enthusiast for genuine rock groups, especially his contemporaries who also came out of the 90s. No harm, no foul.
Now that the reunion/tour has been announced I think about how Liam said the exact same thing about Noel in interviews, “I’m not calling him. He has to call me first,” the same exact jab/dare. Liam also claimed it was Noel who’s the one who doesn’t want to get back together. Maybe it was planned for longer than we think.
Let’s face it, y’all this is a battle that started in the womb…and won’t even end in the grave..

This wasn't needed from Noel Gallagher.
I think Noel was trying to build it up and felt like Dave was spoiling it or something like that!
When someone comes up and says "hey, I love what you did 30 years ago!" It's like, "Hey, f*** off Dave, get Nirvana back together, oh wait, you can't."
Noel was the same about Michael Stipe for years, but then they're all pals again, posing together on instagram. It's just the way the Gallagher brothers play, they play rough - Noel doesn't hate Dave Grohl (he thinks Nirvana were great, I've heard him say so), he just gets pissed off at Liam constantly tweeting about a reunion and all that, and Dave Grohl getting involved, when as far as Noel's concerned, he's just trying to get on with his life. I used to know somebody who knows Noel, that's just the way the Gallaghers are, and in a way, it's admirable, because all these years of fame and success and they still refuse to 'play the game' and be diplomatic say that everybody's great and amazing and wonderful. Somebody pisses them off, they say so.

I can understand why Noel got annoyed. To keep mentioning Oasis, It's like telling him that his post Oasis work is rubbish.
You don't get it? Well, I do. It's not that hard. Dave expressing how he loved Oasis is one thing. Dave starting a petition to get the band together and going on and on about it is another.
