"Apologize like your job depends on it" is such a fabulous line. Also, not letting the other person have a word in edgewise is usually unwise.

never talk over someone. either you'll learn you were mistaken or they'll dig themselves deeper. plus, talking over someone like that makes you look like the asshole and them the victim which is bad when they are the one in the wrong.

Story 4: First impressions are everything. It applies just not to the interviewee, but the interviewer too.
The fact that the manager straight up went into a hyper-aggressive rant over a *PARKING SPOT* while OP didn't do anything wrong is foul. He basically told OP "I have anger issues and will make you miserable while assuming" without telling them that. G-Tier first impression, Manager.

Story 3: Recovery, according to some research, can go from a few days to several months depending on multiple factors, including what the surgery was.
So yeah, the fact that Karla accused Joey of faking his continued recovery after about a month is just awful.

Very true, for instance, I got a cochlear surgery (for those who don't know, it essentially helps restore a fully deaf ear via an implant that connects magnetically to a device that rests on my ear) last year, and I'm still recovering, because for surgeries like that, it doesn't stop at the surgery wound... I have to heal, roughly 8 or 9 years of my ear being deaf and useless, thankfully, tho, it's Bluetooth and I can do sound therapy at my own pace ^^

About that last story- I'm a below-knee amputee. One day, I pulled into a handicapped spot in a parking lot, put up my placard and got out of my vehicle. A typical Karen comes up to me and demands that I move because "you don't need that spot. I bet that you stole that placard!" I explained that I'm disabled and own the placard. She demands to see my paperwork; I refused. She yelled, "Prove it, you lazy, fake bastard!" Then she proceeds to shove me down and try to get in my vehicle. By this time, people were looking and asking her WTF. She screamed at them to mind their own business. I proceeded to push the button on my socket through my jeans while trying to stand up. My leg popped out of my jeans and hit her in the leg while I screamed blue murder, as if I was in pain. She looked down, saw my prosthetic and screamed herself. She ran off while some people chased her and others helped me reattach my leg and helped me stand up. I thanked them and went to run my errand. I understand that she was arrested for assault on a disabled person. Rather than deal with the whole mess, I snuck away and drove home. Achievement Unlocked: Malicious Compliance!

Laptop charger guy gave me flashbacks to working at Duncan Donuts. We would sometimes get people *****ing us out for our coffee being too hot. Not because they spilled on themselves or anything, they would just be fishing for compensation like free coupons, gift cards or at least a free coffee. I would, in customer service talk tell them that unless they were given a faulty lid and were injured that we weren't liable for anything because the cups all had a very clear "Caution:Hot Beverage" label, ESPECIALLY in cases where the customer removed the lid themselves. Most would grumpily leave it at that and file a complaint but some would actually try to threaten lawsuit and try to claim it was illegal to serve coffee this hot. To which I would have to explain (on deaf ears) the food safety regulation for coffee temperature.
It's just kind of funny when people think willful ignorance is a good excuse to avoid personal responsibility.

I ignored them because I had a transcript of my marks, which was sufficient for every job I applied for (I disputed the fine on the grounds I had dropped the books off at the reception desk on the due date). _Thirty years later_ , I decided to take some evening courses at another university, but they required a copy of my diploma, so I had to contact my original university. They decided to waive the fine and sent me my diploma, but I had to wonder about them keeping a record of an $2.70 fine for 30 years.

With that parking story if the hiring manager saw the car pull up into the handicap spot that a placard should’ve been seen, plus they should’ve seen OP exit the car and not whoever the actual owner of it was.
Granted not sure what the angle was that they saw the car park from so making out either may have been a bit trickier than just seeing the car pull up. Still a bad move to either assume that Op didn’t have a disability or was using the spot without a placard.
As for the two weeks story, that lady went from 0-100 really fast, especially when making all those threats to OP. Also sabotaging them for no reason other that to be vindictive means she was just shooting herself in the foot even more. That lady was completely blinded by pure rage at the loss of her worker drone.

Its 1am and I was gonna sleep. But not now 😂 I'm blaming you if I'm too tired tomorrow
9:49 fair if you don't wanna see someone puke but like why'd you ask for proof of someone being sick then get mad when you received said proof? You literally asked for it Carla. Being scared of vomit sounds like a skill issue. I don't wanna be anywhere near someone puking but I'll still get them water or a bucket because that's what the sick person needs and my feelings aren't important in that moment.

Who decided to let a hiring manager who’s so dumb he doesn’t know that cars can be the same colour and make as each other do interviews for their company? I wonder if they’ve had any success at all with him and wondering why no-one is taking the job offers? 😂

As someone who's worked in a small office with barely a dozen employees, you _definitely_ don't need the toxic one, literally everyone is willing to cover for them until a replacement is found.
Had similar coworkers we'd all covered for just to get rid of and replace and any GOOD boss would cover them himself.

    Mary's threats in the first story are massively stupid on her part. First, why OP would get a referral from her to begin with? Also the whole threat of getting OP fired from his new job and blacklisted from working on his position anywhere in the town was massively hollow;
First, she had no power to get him fired, and even if she did then what? She would give OP a slam-dunk case for a lawsuit against her for retaliation, and get herself blacklisted, not OP (because I doubt any minimally decent company would hire someone who lost a lawsuit for retaliation against a former employee/subordinate)

This posting when it did has given me a thought if you end up feeling like setting up a second channel again. Rslash late night! More constructive and wholesome stories for the normal Rslash content as per usual with more raunchy and intense stories for the late night channel. That way you can keep the best monetization on the primary channel and any videos that DON'T get demonetized on the second channel being a bonus.

Can someone explain to me how handicapped parking spaces work in the US? I mean, what exactly qualifies someone to use them? Basically, the reason for those spots is to give people with severe movment issues more space to maneuver around the car (getting wheelchairs out, for instance) as they are wider than regular spots and reduce the distance as they are closer to the entrance. But if everyone, with every disability, can use these spots, their purpose is greatly reduced.
That's why in the entire European Union, for instance, you only get a handicapped parking plackard for a severe disability. The plackard is personalised and not tranferrable and can only be used if the handicapped person actually uses it - also, there are no indications or stickers on the number plates, the only thing that allows for handicapped parking is the plackard which is not tied to a specific vehicle. You can get a _Parking card for people with disabilities in the European Union_ at local road traffic licensing departments or regulatory agency. The exact definitions may vary in detail from country to country, but to get approved for it in Germany, you must attest to a _severe mobility impairment_ (indicated by _aG_ for _außergewöhnlicher Grad_ in the _severely handicapped pass)._ There are some additional rules, but that's the general idea. This _severe grade of disability_ indicator is related to mobility issues. There is a grade system to determine the _grade of disability_ up to 100%, and the indicator _aG_ is generally applied at 80% grade *and* a severe mobility issue that can roughly defined as _being permanently unable or severely limited to move by themselves without assistance or great effort outside of their vehicle_ or by other health issues (that are not defined as a disability) that _permanently restrict mobility in a way that equals that of a disability_ (a bit strange, but this passage is meant to include people with issues that are not for themselves disabilities as defined by German law).
[Basically that means the following: Handicapped parking is a way to _equalise the impairement caused by a disability_ and should therefore *only* be used by those who _need_ them for this excact purpose in order to participate in society as independently as possible. My dad, for instance, had a stroke a few years back that left him with a walking disporder (most notably ataxia, which impaired his sense of balance). He has a disability pass, his _grade of disability_ is somewhere above 60% but his _indicator_ is *B,* for _Begleitperson_ (assistant), which allows him _and a second person_ to use public short-distance transit (so, no long distance trains or planes or something similar) for free, as _B_ indicates he _meets the requirement for indicator _*_G_* (which indicates an impairment of at least 50%) *and* _requires assistance_ when using public transportation. He _does not qualify_ for a handicapped plackard, because even though his _grade of disability_ gives him the status of a _severe_ disability, but not the _severe mobility impairment_ necessary: He is able to move, without his car and without much effort, he just walks slowly using either a cane or a walker and might suddelny lose balance. So even though it _might_ be nice for him to not have to walk a few hundred meters from the car to a shop, he is perfectly able to - the handicapped parking spots remain reserved for those who explicitly _can't_ move.]
Please, tell me how this works in the US (though it'S probably a mess with different regulations from state to state or even municipality to municipality - it's hard to believe that the US can't manage to introduce many reasonable laws on a federal basis - being one country - when in the EU, 27 independant countries manage to at least provide binding guidelines - but that's another story).
