Although they don't directly say it, Superwoman is the counterpart to Mary Marvel. Her made men are based on the counterparts to the Lieutenant Marvels and Uncle Marvel (although the counterpart to Uncle Marvel has superpowers).
The Exiles comic was published way before that animated series. Also, Secret Society of Super-Villains No. 1 came out in 1976 delt with a similar story with the Angler. The description of the video is incorrect as there is no WW humiliating Superman.
They give it too much Credit for Multiverses! Crisis on Infinite Earths (1985) was written to Resolve the conflicts of DC Multiverses, which were Way out of control by then.
@@ralphhinckley4417 Point? WHY they wrote it wasn't Important. The STATED issue was that, over the Years, DC's Earths were Complicated and Contradictory, as different Writers made different Worlds. What you State, is the EXACT Cause as new hands on the reins took matters in their Own Direction, opting for their Own Order combining their Worlds into One. This left Pardoxes, such as Helena Wayne, who survived the demise of Earth-2, on Earth-1 despite Bruce never having a daughter(not having a similar character necessary to displace). Unfortunately, it was not to Last, as writers were Allowed to create the Chaos anew.
Ha! This is HARDLY "one of the first stories to implement parallel universes (in) different Earths". (Parallels universes are not in the Earth), stories like this one goes back many decades in comics alone.
Hugh Everett proposed the multiverse concept in 1957, suggesting every quantum event spawns separate universes for each outcome. Initially controversial, Everett's multiverse theory has gained acceptance among physicists and has become a popular theme in science fiction. wiki
With the Justice League, there's no such thing as a fair fight. There is only life or death. Those who die lose, those still breathing....well, you know already.
“ in a fair fight” comes down to skill against a mirror match. The Justice league possesses the skill: green lantern, flash and Wonder Woman were all more skilled at using their abilities than their counterparts. Since Superman is basically used as muscle, his was just a contest of who wants it more and we all know Superman holds back constantly. On the flip side, Batman had to go up against someone MORE skilled than him! Owlman’s suit is more powerful. His devices more deadly AND he’s a better martial artist! Batman was pushed to the point of actually trying to KILL owlman in the rematch-first trying to shoot him with the grapple, then smacking a bomb right on owlman’s mask once Batman realized he couldn’t defeat him physically, none of his bat gadgets worked against him and even trying to get through to owlman psychologically failed. Batman DID prove he can take a beating while owlman CHOSE to lose
The clip was good, but the Title is Click Bait. It's completely unnecessary.
