Hi guys, we've just bought a brandnew GPSMAP 78s through Amazon. We're trying to set it up for field work but when we compared the marked waypoint to other GPS and other mobile android devices, there seems to be a big difference. almost 2km difference from actual location. Any advice on correcting actual location?
Make sure the position format is the same across the devices. We use "degrees decimal minutes", but the android devices may be using a different position format. The numbers can be the same, but the position will be different!
