Your Wexford cups are punch cups - it was a very popular punch set. Keep an eye out for the punch bowls!

I just saw this video and agree, those are punch cups. I have a bowl too, but it's deceptively large! Probably holds 24 cups of liquid! It's great for parties.
The plant hanger looks more like a dragon than a bird to me, but it’s very unique and cool for a boy’s room!
My Grandmother used those small doilies as Christmas ornaments. If I remember correctly, she starched them and then used gold ornament hooks, to put on the tree-but, wait, I’m just remembering that some of them were hung with pretty red ribbon as well.
Knit crochet doilies remind me of my Portuguese grandmothers…..lol. A tree skirt is a new idea for me….hmmmm
On the small glass vase put a decorated cork in it and make a perfume bottle

Your bust was likely awards given to music students by their teachers. My mother taught piano and gave her students busts when they mastered difficult pieces or did recitals.

Really nice haul!! The glass “tea cups” are actually punch cups. At one time that probably went with a matching punch bowl.

It seems this is probably the intended purpose, and likely more useful as my shot taking days are far behind me now. 😆

The Anchor Hocking cups you showed are punch cups. They are usually hung on hooks around a punch bowl. I have a set. Very pretty.

That eagle is so cool! I bet you could rest the wings on thumb tacks to mount! Or those command hooks that have the metal hook wrap around - I bet you could spray paint them gold

I love rewiring old lamps. Just go online and you can get replacements to update it to modern electric standards.

I have the same exact perfume bottle I actually just got it about 3mo ago.I work in a Victorian mansion tht was built in 1821,it's a private social club in Massachusetts,it's absolutely gorgeous! So my boss is always asking me if I wnt certain things furniture to old bottles decor piece etc & ofc I'm like YESS!!I actually have quite a lot of the same things as you,which I love!Theres this huge indoor antique store in a old mill it is humongous down the street from me,I'm in there once a week sometimes more🤦🏻♀️lol I just came across your channel today so I'm binge watching 😉love your content!
The perfume bottle is probably 1960s, the silver container with the lid is an English biscuit barrel, (biscuits are crackers )
I collected quite a bit of the anchor hocking pattern for years. I have seen those little glasses at estate sales used several different ways. Holding tooth picks or votive candle. I bought one that had a small silver condiment lid. But last week at an estate sale.... I saw a set with thier little silver condiment lids and spoons and they sat on a matching tray. Which leads me to believe they are a condiment set of sorts. Anyway, now I just collect them for my daughter who uses them as shot glasses. Love your finds.

My mom is really into this stuff and has a lot of it, so I sent her your video, and this was her feedback. The small, pressed glass is either a matchstick holder (typically a glass lighter and tray came with it) or it's a juice glass. Either way it's a great little piece. The "tea cups" are actually punch cups that go with one of two punch bowls (one was smaller than the other for children's non-alcoholic beverages and the other was for adult drinks). Hope this helps :)
I have the silver piece with the red velvet. Bought it years ago at Tuesday morning.
Command strips might work for your eagle. You have beautiful go flawless skin and simply stunning. I have college age granddaughters that at are beautiful but I think you have an edge up on them. Lol enjoying your channel. ❤️🎃

Hi the second large clear plate you showed is a platter or serving dish by federal glass, in a pattern called windsor. The plate you showed before it is a popular design in Early American Glass. More than one glass company made it. Very nice. I also enjoy the Wexford Glass, it's my brother's favorite he collects it.

The little Wexford glass might be a toothpick holder. Couldn’t tell for sure. But my Grandma had one. She also had tall glass and goblets in that pattern. Also those are punch cups.
I drifted for a few weeks, surgery the pain of recovery. So since I am a vintage lover, I am binge watching today!

You've got me looking for small pieces of tarnished silver. I don't have space for big platters but so far I've got a small goblet, a candle holder thingy, and what might be a plant holder but is holding a teal glass bowl. I have 2 favorite glass companies, Anchor Hocking where my grandma worked in the factory and Fenton because I'm from the town where it was made.
Try a pothos plant. Very easy to grow and propagate and they drape rather than climb.
That silver is so easy to come across once you start looking for it! That’s so cool your grandma worked for Anchor Hocking I’m sure she has lots of knowledge on the pieces that went through during that time! I’ll look up Pothos!! ☺️
The two round plates at 6:26 are the Windsor pattern by Federal Glass, in case no one has pointed that out yet 🙂Pretty pattern!
The clear tea cups look like punch cups that would hang on the side of a punch bowl. I grew up with all the celebrations in the south that included lime punch in a punch bowl and the cups hanging on the sides with hooks! Brings back wonderful memories!

You could use Command strip velcros for the eagle.
I’d try the Command Velcro to mount the eagle in your sons room. Use a strip on both wings and the body. It should hold it well.
I love those Velcro command strips, was thinking that just curious as to how well it’ll stick to the metal. I think I’ll give it a try and hope it doesn’t fall off and scare him in the middle of the night. 😅
@@KrystaMeeker I don’t want to have recommended something that will scare your sweet boy. Nothing we have ever hung with them has fallen, but my sweet boy is 32, so I don’t need to consider that anymore! Your little guys room is beautiful, I hope you find something that works.

My Grandma had those candleholders as well. I think they are from the glass line
Soak them in OXi clean you can even put the dry stuff on them and then spray them with shout and leave it on about 30 mins
Maybe you could get a decorative wood piece to glue/attach the eagle to and then hang that 🤗
The candle holders can also be used sitting the other way for a taper candle. Everything you found is wonderful! I found your channel yesterday and will be going back and watching more.
An idea for hanging the eagle.. epoxy the eagle to a piece of wood plate and add the hanger to the back of wooden plate!

I believe your wexford cups are from a punch bowl set and the reason they are smaller. The other little wexford container is possibly a toothpick holder. The little "vase" looks to be a bottle to a cruet set (for oil and vinnegar) and missing its glass topper. Great haul.

I wear a lot of different brands when it comes to eyeshadows and blushes, I did makeup in a spa for years before becoming a stay at home mama and accumulated quite a collection in that time. I use It Cosmetics CC cream for my foundation and Hourglass Ambient Lighting Finishing Powder, they are my staple products! ❤️

8:42 that symbol is one of the symbols of the British monarchy with a lion to the left and griffon to the right. It's not a Buckingham Palace symbol though because that one has a unicorn to the right. Edit: also on the back those three marks are mint marks. One says where within Britain it was made, one says the year in mint-mark code, and one says what it's made out of (lion for sterling silver, which it's not). There's internet sites that'll show you which is which.

Ooooh I have been obsessed with black sweet potato vine lately - you may love it also - they are deep green purple black in color and have 5 points on a leaf. They vine and stretch out but look fabulous when you plant multiple in the same container - they look bushy and get big in length. That would look sooo good with your decor and in that urn planter
Oooh, I have seen those dark potato vines and they really cool. Wonder if it would get too big? I know potato vine grows like crazy!

Oh my, i love that you love ordinary clear glass. Its been out of favor for a while. I have a bunch of clear depression glass. Perhaps you can glue your eagle to a frame. Plastic frames are underrated...it's so nice that they are lightweight.
It’s true, it seems to be the less preferred by resellers BUT I get lots of comments on my clear glass so we are not alone in having admiration for it! ☺️✨

I’m loving your thrift hauls! I recently picked up a set of those anchor Hocking goblets for my Halloween tablescape and got a large version of that Beethoven bust for $2!
I really like your necklace, is that a teapot for your mom on it? I lost my mom at the end of 2020 and have a heart pendant with her fingerprint, the inscription “Always with me” and a bit of her ashes inside.
We definitely like the same things it sounds like! Jealous you found a big bust! Thank you, it is exactly that, it has some of her ashes in it and I had a teapot engraved on it for her as well. She told me randomly (no clue why) when I was young that if anything ever happened to her she’d leave hearts as signs so the hearts and teapots always symbolize her for me. I’m so sorry you lost your mom too, there’s just nothing like that pain. I have seen those fingerprint ones and think they are so beautiful. ❤️

I love all your finds, we have the same tastes it seems. You could use heavy duty command strips on the back of the eagle, just look at how much weight the package says it will hold, I have used them and nothing ever falls as long as you use a heavy duty strip. I just love your son's room!

I’m not 100% sure but the little pressed glass that you were calling a shot glass might be a juice glass. They are usually very small and hold around 4oz. Great haul. 😉

I just remembered that with some of my glass ware I put shelves in my windows and put down prison paper on the shelf then put the glass on the shelves inside of plate stands and when the sun hits them it books like gained glass
