These Canadian houses are stunning but I've observed from this and other channels of similar content that these homes are so different from neighbour homes. I wouldn't want to be the only 'have' in my neighbourhood. They always look like they don't belong there.

I saw the outside and thought...wow, this looks interesting. But the interiors have a real lack of trim. I understand some people may actually prefer it that way...basic and clean. For me, trim and other decorative features give the house more charm.

This is actually a very nice house, but it looks too sterile. There is no carpeting anywhere in the house. It should be at least in the bedrooms. There is potential for it to be a very nice house, but it needs some work.

Flooring is an individual choice. If you want carpeting in your bedroom, why not? Anyone can put their stamp on the house. Personally, I liked it very much; it seem warm, fresh and light.
