This was a great history lesson video. I remember the jam stack marketing phase, I never understood the point because every app I’ve ever built requires highly dynamic data shared between users of the system. It felt like hype during a phase where everyone was finding better ways to build a blog site 😂
the good old design to scale to moon approach. dont use monolith because you want infinite scalability, but if you ever reach that scale, then Netlify or Nextjs wont be economical.
