      You arnt missing much. I learned motoman a little more than 2 years ago, worked on them for 6 months then our shop got some fanucs. I still cant figure what i want with the fanucs like i can on the motoman robots. 🤦‍♂️

    Delving in at the starting level shortly with an Arduino Braccio Robotic Arm to learn the processes and procedures for programming these. These robots look like a great work assistant to do the 'muscle' work whilst I'm doing the thinking & creative work, and setting up other parts and processes.

    I cant wait to have my own shop .
    Cnc mill , laser /plasma cutter , robotic arms all over the place and last but not least my injection moulding machine.
    Theres going to be lots more stuff but those are the main machines I want to get .
    Since I've subscribed to your chanel im learning more everyday.

    We used FANUC robots to cut the vinyl for windshields...we would follow a channeled template the shape of the cut....I would have to modify code every now and then...M Code. We used ABB robots to place and remove glass from bucks to conveyor systems. Libbey- Owens-Ford Glass mid 90s, Lathrop, CA

    When did Fanuc start needing the shift key to be pressed while jogging? All I have ever had to do is hold the enable switch ( deadman) to jog. Shift has never needed to be held.

    I don't know about the other Titan CNC fans, but I would really appreciate it if Tison could complete the lathe setup checklist.

    Hello TITANS, i would like to ask... If i have lets say 100 pieces of 1cm thick metal sheet on a pallet and i want to move them to brake press, bend them and later put them on another prepared pallet, does it mean i need to programme 100 cycles (one for each piece)? Thank you for your valuable work!

      I'm a software programmer. I promise you that what you've watched is not "software programming". Writing G-Code is much more of a programming. What you have here is moving the arm to a point, and essentially saying "start here", and moving the arm to the second point, and clicking "stop here". The G-code language is not natural. The robot programming you've watched is more like how you'd talk to another person. It's a thousand times easier.

    • @Hani13ful

      Bro these western countries guys who are in these field , always hype about there stuff . Don't get astronomical about everything. He's just giving points , weight etc. I have worked in Indian industries and shops. We have all these stuff from long time. Nothing is impossible if you have eagle's eye.

    Hello, what programming are you using? Java?

    • @HansolControl
      @HansolControl 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Fanuc Robots are programed in two different proprietary languages. Karel, and TP. TP is a simplified, low-level language designed for easy, quick programing of robot motion and simple logic. Karel is a higher level, but somewhat obsolete programming language similar to C. There are also software options that let you control the robot from a PLC ladder logic, or C# PC application (PCDK).
      If you want to program a robot in Java, I know KUKA IIWA collaborative robots are one option.

  • @newt2010

    Why did you keep jogging in joint rather than Cartesian or world coordinate. That would have saved you a ton of time. Not to mention, it would have kept the piece in the same orientation you picked up as. Just wondering why

    • @7inrain
      @7inrain 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Noticed that too. This joint juggling looked really awkward. Plus if he wanted to automate the whole thing and give commands like e2-e4 (move the piece on e2 to the square e4) he would knock over a bunch of other pieces with his trajectories.
      But he obviously doesn't know how to play chess.

    • @dreamcreator2552
      @dreamcreator2552 ปีที่แล้ว

      The reason is these guys aren’t experts at anything except making TH-cam videos that neophytes find amazing. Interesting that you never see a real shop. Only the darkened “TH-cam” section where these mindless videos are created. Amazing that so many people follow this channel. The chess piece moves are cute, but totally nonsense in the real world of production and automation. I had an employee who loved this channel and always came in to tell me what I was doing wrong per this channel. I took 1 hour of my valuable time to demonstrate that what the video he saw would not work at all in real production. More power to a TH-camr who can make money off presenting useless videos and have major companies give him free machines. Can’t argue with that.
