You are a good short range putter..Meaning: If you can hit the greens in Texas in regulation, you should do very well....Good luck , carefully think each approach iron shot out..and hit those greens!!!

Hey Gen, you should make a video explaining/showing how you're so good at short putts! Some of those putts (inside of 10 feet) were breaking a ton

Welcome to Danau GC. Looks like you've conquered the greens! Btw nice birdie on Hole #17, the locals call this hole 'bontot kuali' coz the green is elevated and shaped like an inverted kuali.

what a vlog! I'm currently playing at the par 3 course that' exactly like this one, with very hard and fast greens. I was trying to get my ball on the green but it never stops, always roll over. Now I just determined to land it short and let it roll up or with a chip.

Game is looking solid, and the scramble / chipping is such a game changer! Putting line determination by committee was hilarious.
You got real lucky with that 1st tee shot, driver run out fairway.., could have easily been snug right behind that tree trunk which would have been so nasty, leaving you staring at Bogey in the face.
I noticed on hole 14 you were using the 'power of the hand' - it worked well!

Overall, it was a nice round... As you remarked the greens were inconsistent for your usual chipping style but you were up to the challenge by making many clutch putts.
this is why I still believe in chipping with lower lofted clubs and get the ball rolling on the ground/green as soon as possible (i.e. "putting with loft.") I was taught this by Conrad Rehling (who was a disciple of Paul Runyan). Runyan possessed one of the best short games in the history of golf. It's hard for me to go all in on the chipping with wedge trend that seems to be popular these days. 99.9 percent of us won't be able to devout the kind of time to get our wedge play that fine tuned. Chipping with lower lofted clubs gives the golfer way more leeway to miss and still get a respectable result. JMTC This is not a criticism of Gen in any way! She's an amazing player and she works hard. This is directed at us normal "weekend" players out there looking to get the most consistent results who have limited time to work on our games.
