I'm glad big sneaker brands like Adidas are using recyclable materials for their popular lines. That is something I can always get behind.
After watching Seaspiracy, I´m looking even more for shoes like this. There are a LOT of materials used in sneakers production and replace a portion of it, with recycled material is incredible! AND it´s good looking, that green tone is just fire!

I understand the strategy of separating the lifestyle and performance lines, and I kinda like it, but adidas has got it wrong in my opinion. The Ultraboost 21 weights 380 grams, how am I supposed to run in that ?
I have 2 pairs of these non dyed. The first one's straps are low saturation light green while the second pair is relatively more vivid and bluer, like the one in this video.

For me, the eqt 91/17 was probably more comfortable than ultraboost. The only minor complaint was the weird shaped tongue. But the boost was so much more comfortable

I tried them on and was like wow these are insane. Now I have a ton of ultra boosts and they are my go to. Even though I love jordans and some yeezys I wear mostly ultra boost. Always will.

Just picked up a pair. my cage is more a Grey colour than yours. Guessing thats down to the fishing nets they use and there will be colour variations between pairs, that’s pretty cool. Love were Adidas are heading with Prime Blue and Parley. I have quite a few Parley ultraboosts now and this is one of my favourites

I would recommend to watch some Reshoevn8r videos on TH-cam. They have super good tutorials for cleaning sneakers and they have hundreds of videos for basically every model of sneaker. Most of the stuff you can do with regular brushes, but their product line of special brushes and cleaning tools is also pretty dope if you like to invest a few bucks in cleaning stuff

Great review! I do agree the use of recycled materials is a big step in the right direction. Also agree about the tongue. The UB19 used a super stretchy Primeknit where you could open up the shoe all the way to the end of the cage. Making a not-so-stretchy version is a big turn off. Having high arches, I completely avoid tongue-less shoes as they are much harder to get on feet. This would be a big reason for me to pass on them. Also UB21 suck. The harder Boost and poor heel lockdown make them trash. Why add all that extra Boost if you're only going to make the stiffer? And that just adds extra weight which makes them the heaviest runner on the market. I know you aren't a runner Seth, but the Nike Invincible Run is what the UB21 should have been. Nike out-Boosted the UltraBoost.

Man you apparently forgot the existence of the UB 4.0. In my opinion it's better than the 2.0, the 3.0 and maybe even the 1.0. Just commenting because you sound like you think that there was only 3 years of new knit patterns in this og kinda silhouette before the 19 (which deserves love too and doesn't receive a lot), but it was 4
OG UB are amazing. And to be honest i am quite impressed with adidas and some of their recent sneakers. The new NMDs, these, and even the UB 21. I think that there is potential for adidas to put themselves back on the map a little bit especially cause some of the off white nike collabs just aren't what they used to be
that og ultraboost shape is still one of the best looking silhouette out there, imho

Nah 3.0 was also pretty dope and 4.0 was also fine but 1.0 white with that cream colour was the best

Jus get Hoka, Saucony, Brooks, or even New Balance for better running. Trust me.

been running with UB19 in 2020 and now in 2021, quite happy with it

6.0 material is way thinner and softer... the opening is harder to get your foot in. Not sure whether this version can last like previous versions...
