Totally agree with you. I don’t even listen to today’s music except for a few exceptions. Can’t stand the likes of Taylor What’s her name and others like her.
Okay, now that you've Heard him sing it, you gotta WATCH him sing it. He's not only an incredible, powerful, interesting singer, he's a ton of fun to watch. I'm pretty sure someone here can give you the link to the best performance, or best performances (hard to believe there's just one "best" from Tyler) of this song...or maybe just one-- of any of the greatest Aerosmith songs-- that showcases his performing-- the intensity, the craziness, the creativity and the excitement.
Aerosmith is so NOT far behind anyone. They've only just retired due to Steven Tyler's,the lead singer, voice being permanently damaged by a vocal cord injury last year and the band will no longer tour. So legendary. This song was in the 70's.
Steven Tyler has a voice that you know exactly who it is as soon as you hear it; I have seen them twice. The first time was right before Christmas in 1977 at the Capital Centre, I was 15, and I was hooked. Aerosmith is one of those bands I still listen to all the time.
More Aerosmith bangers - Toys in the Attic, Walk This Way, Sweet Emotion, Back in the Saddle, Let the Music Do the Talking, Living on the Edge, Dude Looks Like a Lady, Rag Doll, Janie's Got a Gun, I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing (from the Armageddon soundtrack).
How wise of You to advise, " I hope Y'all didn't take it for granted !!! I'm 63 and grew up rockin' to ALL of Aerosmiths contemporaries, and still can't get enough of the best era in rock, in my opinion, mid 60's- to mid- late 90's stalwart Rock 'n Roll !!! But seeing Your generation react to it brings the enjoyment of listening to it to a different perspective, I don't know, kinda reliving it through You Guys that do them ! Yes, Tyler has good pipes in all songs, probably has to be be considered in a top list of whatever number for male rock vocalists. Of course as I commented in the Carpenters reaction You did, good music is good music, they sure weren't hard rock, but their music was solid, and transcends genre tastes.Nicely done, and thank You, subscribed now.
I watched one react by you. Queen, live aid, of course. And now I cannot stop watching your reactions. I am a 54-year-old woman who got to enjoy all of this music and I love watching kids like you realize people actually used to play instruments. Used to actually sing live.it was a thing!
Aerosmith started their final tour a few months ago and it has been on hold for months now as lead singer Steven Tyler is recovering from a broken larynx. Fifty years of screaming didn't help things. I was supposed to see them on January 19th and still waiting for them to announce a rescheduled date.
Eminem uses this song in Sing For the Moment, maybe you heard that? But yeah, this is an iconic song so has been used in all sorts of media for decades.
I saw them for $1.04 in 1976 lol. They were based out of Boston. I recommend the first 5 albums and after that they went mainstream and lost their edge. So the new stuff doesn't carry the magic. anyway enjoy peace to you. The ROCKS album is killer every song is a vibe.
I've just found you Hun don't know if you've done these but just incase ..1 Stevie Nicks.. EDGE OF SEVENTEEN... 2..Tom Jones ... I'll NEVER FALL IN LOVE AGAIN ❤❤❤ 3..Pink Floyd..ON THE TURNING AWAY ❤
Yeah. My husband was listening to something by eric Clapton, tears in heaven, I believe...we were tearing up. Gotta look up why the man wrote the song. Saddest thing I have heard...we tear up every time we hear it. You are right about the new stuff...lots of trash coming out. It's a shame. Lots of talent wasted on untalented writing.
Steven Tyler (from America's got talent- or some such thing)...is Aerosmith's lead singer...yea...I was rockin' to these guys in high school 50 years ago. Awesome shit then. Even better now.
We did have the best music! I'm 68 and I have seen so many of the legends in concert. Glad to see young people realize that gramma is cool after all!
Yes we did!
YEAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaSSSSSSsssssssssssssssssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm 65 and this is what we grew up on. The best time for music.
If only we had understood at the time, just how special of a time it was.
Totally agree with you. I don’t even listen to today’s music except for a few exceptions. Can’t stand the likes of Taylor What’s her name and others like her.
Steven Tylor wrote and sang this when he was 17 years old !
This song is from 1973 and it’s still great 😂❤🎉
Talent. No autotune or lip syncing.

Sweet Emotion is another fire song from Aerosmith.
Aerosmith is so NOT far behind anyone. They've only just retired due to Steven Tyler's,the lead singer, voice being permanently damaged by a vocal cord injury last year and the band will no longer tour. So legendary. This song was in the 70's.
Rock On young man Rock On. Enjoyed your reaction

Can't miss with ANY song Areosmith has. Steven Tyler is amazing, and of course the whole band is too!
Must listen to it live. Best live version of Dream On is at MTV’s 10th Anniversary. It’s with the band and a full orchestra.

If you truly love great musicians then you need to listen to RUSH
Watch the live version.
Eminem sampled this, it was also used in a God Of War cutscene, might’ve heard it from one of those
Journey - Faithfully

Try Aerosmith and Run DMC
React to the live version for the Boston marathon bombing..it’s ridiculous
Dont stop the song every 10 seconds.....
Steven Tyler is the voice
No way like Freddie
Agree. Both awesome, but different
No hate, old Steven Tyler had notes under his belt.
70s.
Eminem sampled this!
needs more volume, less reverb on the music track
