      I could think of a couple of million different reason to go to Utd.
      Even if he gets sacked, he will get more than he ever earned in his whole life. He's a guy who had to retire from football in his early 20s, he has never had a big pay day. He would be stupid to turn it down.

Kane was never going to be sold to another PL club when Bayern were paying £100m anyway. Frenkie De Jong didn't want to ever come to us despite his so called relationship with ten hag & was impossible anyway as he was owed wages by barca.       @@d.b.cooper1 which in your argument, there were better players available for a cheaper fee , he could've gone for kounde at the time or someone like upermecano or even Tyrone who played for Ashton villa , the transfer options was there and instead of signing eriksen and casemiro, he could've gone for younger talents like tielemans who would've been a great acquisition and he shouldn't have gotten rid of fred and sabitzer, he would've better off , midfield partnership of mainoo, tielemans , Fred, sabitzer and bruno would've been fantastic so I get what you tryna say

      Yeah right. Ten Hag inspires very little confidence in anyone. I never hear any arguments as to why he should stay other than 'we can't keep sacking manager/hatred of same old players " etc. Ineos will never feel at home till they get their own manager they hired in. That way they can also be fully held accountable when/if it goes wrong. For now they can always say 'we didnt' hire him' when they inevitbilty sack Ten Hag end of this year if kept.

      The culture and context at the two clubs are not the same. United have always been trigger happy since Ferguson retired but Arsenal aren't, except in the case of Emery where he clearly lost the dressing room and there was a fan revolt with fans boycotting his final game. Plus, Arteta has deep connection to the club as he was a former captain, and he has the complete backing of the Sporting Director Edu Gaspar.

Man U has chewed up far better and more experienced managers than McKenna. 12 months ago he was managing away at Wycombe Wanderers and Fleetwood Town. b2b promotions is great, but it’s no CV for arguably the biggest job in football. All the teams that came up last season went back down. Ipswich haven’t even played a PL game and McKenna has never managed one in his life! Bayern can at least say Kompany managed in the PL. No matter which way you look at it, even considering him is a just inexplicable.

    The British media are toxic it"s an outrage against EtH reporting this when our Manager and our team are preparing for a very important match. They need the full support of the fans and INEOS need to put a stop to all this conjecture one way or another as soon as possible. Respect to EtH on how he's handled the barrage of abuse he's had to contend with almost since he arrived.       People comparison of SAF and ETH doesn't make any sense. ETH is actually sacking himself. The media are just doing their jobs if you have been following his interviews al season he has brought all these to himself. It's INEOS decision to look for better manager who can play good football and not counter attack and so called dynamic play ETH has been playing since he joined. They have to do that early or else blame goes back to them. Bayern are looking for manager Chelsea are on the market they must be there for sure.

    I was already falling out of love with modern football but if this is true, it’s the nail in the coffin for me. The players are useless, no manager has been able to do anything with these players. Some of the greatest managers the game has seen, van gaal, mourinho etc

      The Premier League is a different kettle of fish to the Championship. For example, Kompany's Burnley earned the joint 4th highest points tally in the history of the Championship in 22/23 and he promptly got them relegated from the Premier League the next season.

    We want to be challenging for the league next season not delay tactics like Tuchel or Southgate or Potter or DeZerbi or McKenna or mismanaging EtH cos we'll be better off with Ole or Outsiders like Pochettino or Zidane than EtH cos he lacks people skills meaning wrong type of manager to take charge of our club.
    The best advice we're prepare to offer is EtH & his team should pack their bags & go back to Ajax or Bayern to reinvent himself!

    For everybody moaning saying this is too soon and he needs more experience. He was a fantastic coach at utd for years and was very well regarded, didn’t Jose make him his assistant? He’s went out and got a couple years experience managing a club and has done fantastic. As for no PL experience, just look what arteta is doing. I’d take McKenna in a heartbeat.

    If he goes it will say a lot about his character and loyalty to a club that ultimately gave him the opportunity and the platform to be successful. If I was an Ipswich fan I’d be fuming, I think he owes them one season in the top flight and if he’s as good as they say surely he’d back himself to be successful and keep Ipswich up or give a good showing of themselves and prove himself so the opportunity would come round again.

    Could be some issues here for Man Utd. First they illegally tapped up Dan Ashworth, then lied about it and now they have Omar Berrada speaking to McKenna when he doesn't even officially work for them yet.
