Kane was never going to be sold to another PL club when Bayern were paying £100m anyway. The culture and context at the two clubs are not the same. United have always been trigger happy since Ferguson retired but Arsenal aren't, except in the case of Emery where he clearly lost the dressing room and there was a fan revolt with fans boycotting his final game. The Premier League is a different kettle of fish to the Championship. For example, Kompany's Burnley earned the joint 4th highest points tally in the history of the Championship in 22/23 and he promptly got them relegated from the Premier League the next season.

Could be some issues here for Man Utd. First they illegally tapped up Dan Ashworth, then lied about it and now they have Omar Berrada speaking to McKenna when he doesn't even officially work for them yet. He's still a Man City employee on "Gardening Leave". Fine incoming for them I would imagine. Ineos have no clue how to run a football club.

Crazy how many of the comments here comparing Ipswich back to back promotion as great, where Mckenna should go to United… those are different levels mate, FYI, Luton, Burnley, Shef Utd all relegated was very impressive on their championship season a year before, no disrespect to Mckenna but he should stay and prove his worth by getting Ipswich survive relegation next season, that would be great for his career, else moving to ManUtd, Brighton, Chelsea only if he wanted to get a quick big bucks pay-off.
