Claudettes role on release wasn't healer, it was invisible pain in the butt, because all her outfits camouflaged her and the game was way darker, so you'd really struggle to see her as killer or survivor. at times she was more scary than the killer, randomly emerging from a shadow behind you...
You forgot to mention the part where four man teams get in comms, and bully low-ranked killers whilst using crutch perks and crutch items to ensure a win, and ruin a killers experience... not once, not twice, not thrice, but various times over again. And don't forget the part where survivors get slugged on the ground 'till the point of bleeding out, camped on the hook 'till death, or tunneled to de-ranking. PS: I actually love this game to pieces. I just don't know how much I can recommend it to an audience who doesn't know enough about the community, new players definitely have a difficult time adjusting to this game. It's not very new-user friendly. And I DREAD the free weekends.
Yes dead by daylight is in a dark place but you have to understand that a killer needs to camp. the survivors have so many tools at their disposal and killers cant really do much when all generators are powered and a survivor is on the hook, and camping before they are powered is a way to punish the extremely altruistic survivors. the bleed till death thing is a way to ensure that everyone can't do anything to ensure a win.you kind to have to lay off of campy killers because they want to win as bad as the survivors do.

Denglong First of the yang zing surv dictates the skill cap right now and it is kinda trashy, supposedly they removed vacuuming and gave the killer a few perks to stop loops, but pallet runs and jungle gyms still suck. Though infinites can easily be shut down with a perk or two
But their idea is to introduce perks to fix things rather than buff killers abilities to fix things and make them more viable. I'd really prefer if Killers were viable from the start rather than only being good with specific perks. NOED and RUIN are needed perks at the best ranks, with BBQ&C being another needed perk for top efficiency with the quicker killers
Mine Antoiya exactly. They try to balance by adjusting perks and add ons, and while most of these changes imo are welcome, they dont solve the core issue that being generators are done too quickly. I think they should make generator repair about 10 seconds longer (solo) to naturally extend the game. Also, since ruin literally lasts about only one minute most games i think its overrated at this point

One of the reasons why Dead by daylight is better than Friday the 13 is the first person perspective. You have a higher chance to escape in DbD while in Friday the 13 you pretty much just wait for Jason to find you.

I’m new to dead by daylight but here’s my honest opinion on it: *ITS MUCH BETTER THAN FRIDAY THE 13th FOR MY STYLE* After getting bored of F13 and watching as it pathetically got thrown into the shitter thanks to the lawsuit I finally switched to DBD and I’m actually *MAD* at myself for not going to this game earlier. It’s more fun and suspenseful as both the killer and the victim. In Friday the 13th You played an OP Jason ( of course ) where he can see where others were, hear them every second they did something, set traps, and just had overall unfair powers, whereas the campers had nothing. But in Dead by daylight even though you can’t fight back as easily as you could in Friday, the survivors still had a much better upper hand by the killers not being horribly OP like Jason, making it harder for the killer, it’s a much bigger challenge as a killer in DBD as the survivors can escape much faster, have an extra chance to survive and the environment. So when you kill your victims or escape the killer *it feels like a more rewarding achievement!* plus my playing style as a victim is hiding in the darkness to help save others and screw with the killer behind the scenes, and when I’m the killer I go on the extreme offense mercilessly and I never give up a chase, and dead by daylight let’s me do both of those things the way I want, whereas Friday the 13th did *not.* So my obvious final verdict *to me, dead by daylight is superior to Friday the 13th for its style, and I love it.*

I'd kinda have to agree. I was a terrible killer, still am unless I'm playing Michael Myers. His 0 Terror Radius is such a help for beginner killers, then there is Play With Your Food for those that are bad at the chase, I.E killers such as myself. The fact he's discribed as "Hard" is bs. All you gotta do is linger for a few seconds pressing Stalk and you're good to go. He is also the only DLC character that I own at the moment.

6:46 yet again, incorrect. the red stain only covers you if the killer is right behind you, or in this case, if the doctor is running his addon which causes the red stain to constantly cover the survivor while they are in a certain level of madness.
Ace in the hole doesnt give all survivors a boosted chance of getting better things in chest, it gives the USER a benefit that when they open a chest, the item has a 50% chance to have an add-on of a certain rarity. Up the Ante gives all survivors boosted luck, which in turn helps with chests, escaping hook on your own, and other perks that have to do with luck like Plunderer's Instinct which reveals chests through walls at a certain distance and increases the chance of finding better loot in chest for only the user.

Actually,the Nurse unique perks and teleportation isn’t too much useful,it’s easier to dodge her attacks,and if you are with a flashlight with good addons,you can lose her without a trace (i normally use the Rare Battery and the Strange light bulb,since is a incredible Addon setup on every flashlight) If you are using the flashlight with some good addons against the Nurse,depending the circumstances,you can be the most important player in the round,I have a feeling the nurse is quite easier to blind,and escape for it without damage,and playing as Claudette,damn,your life is guaranteed in this round,because you can serve as bait for the Nurse,while the others do the generators,you make the Nurse busy,and if you get hurt,you can flash her,hide somewhere,and auto heal,then,you Carry on again,until the gate opens

Camping is a meant to be an implemented playstyle, stop complaining. It's part of the game, and there's plenty of ways to work around it. There has been plenty of times where survivors were able to escaped even with me staying near them. It's like calling a sniper not good at being a sniper for camping, when it's his literal job to find a spot sit and scope out enemies. It's our job to kill, and so whatever we do to kill, is what we are going to do, because it's how we play, and there's nothing wrong with staying near a hooked survivors, it's just how we play, and I've been able to get 4k's because of it.
AFROCOCOBEAN there are proper times to camp in dead by daylight. If survivors want to swarm the hook, and not progress on generators, than I sure as hell am not just going to let them get a free unhook. If the gates are powered, and you have a survivor hooked, there really isn't anything else you can do besides camp, and try to bait survivors to the hook. Some survivors over-exaggerate how often it happens too. Hell I once got accused of tunneling all four survivors at once...
My favorite survivor is Nia Carlson. Just kidding its actually Bill Nye, but If im being honest, I'm not big fan of Fung Min. Her gaming skills, while really good, they still don't impress me. She ain't even close to skill level of Team Siren. I bet I could bait her and outsmart her.

As someone who has about 200 hours on this game, only a handful of these facts were new information to me. But I feel like sometimes you left out crucial information for people watching this video who haven’t played the game or are new and want to learn more. For example you mentioned you can sabotage hooks, you didn’t mention they’ll eventually respawn and you need a toolbox in order to do so. If you want to be superspecific, mention the perks that grant you the ability to do so. I find it crucial information! :)

His chainsaw can insta-down multiple survivors at a time. 2. His chainsaw ignores borrowed time, so there's really no point in saving other survivors. 3. In my opinion I feel it’s pretty balanced, to me it’s just that a lot of survivors are toxic and hold games hostage which then provokes the killers to camp them, which provokes the survivors to be more toxic.
I love playing Killer cause its so fun to slice people up as they desperately run away, smacking down pallets and hoping through windows, all to run straight into the bear trap I had meticulously put down at the start of the game. They wiggle and writhe to no avail, as my Iron Grasp keeps them in place. Sometimes they get out, but there's another trap nearby. And guess who just walked into it. I walk up and taunt them, hook them, then it goes black. Ruthless Victory.
I love the people behind this game their rules about not breaking up community and stuff at the end made me actually happy because these people care more about the players than the money 100%

I use crutch perks but I dont really bully killers in lower ranks when rank reset happens I think teabagging is pretty rude tbh.

One of the reasons why Dead by daylight is better than Friday the 13 is the first person perspective. You have a higher chance to escape in DbD while in Friday the 13 you pretty much just wait for Jason to find you.

I love dead by daylight, but the balance has been too far in the favor of the survivors at high level play for so long. I hope the devs follow through on their promise to make the gameplay for killers more fun and more balanced.

I’m new to dead by daylight but here’s my honest opinion on it:
*ITS MUCH BETTER THAN FRIDAY THE 13th FOR MY STYLE* After getting bored of F13 and watching as it pathetically got thrown into the shitter thanks to the lawsuit I finally switched to DBD and I’m actually *MAD* at myself for not going to this game earlier. It’s more fun and suspenseful as both the killer and the victim. In Friday the 13th You played an OP Jason ( of course ) where he can see where others were, hear them every second they did something, set traps, and just had overall unfair powers, whereas the campers had nothing.
But in Dead by daylight even though you can’t fight back as easily as you could in Friday, the survivors still had a much better upper hand by the killers not being horribly OP like Jason, making it harder for the killer, it’s a much bigger challenge as a killer in DBD as the survivors can escape much faster, have an extra chance to survive and the environment. So when you kill your victims or escape the killer *it feels like a more rewarding achievement!* plus my playing style as a victim is hiding in the darkness to help save others and screw with the killer behind the scenes, and when I’m the killer I go on the extreme offense mercilessly and I never give up a chase, and dead by daylight let’s me do both of those things the way I want, whereas Friday the 13th did *not.*
So my obvious final verdict
*to me, dead by daylight is superior to Friday the 13th for its style, and I love it.*

His 0 Terror Radius is such a help for beginner killers, then there is Play With Your Food for those that are bad at the chase, I.E killers such as myself. The fact he's discribed as "Hard" is bs. All you gotta do is linger for a few seconds pressing Stalk and you're good to go. He is also the only DLC character that I own at the moment.

-This video has been released on june 10th and the game as been released on the 14th it would have been nice so when you say when it got on steam you could had say a little something about the fact that the anniversary is coming in only a couple of days

4:27 ace in the hole doesn't increase the odds of getting better loot in chests, that's what plunderer's instinct does. ace in the hole increases the odds of finding addons with your items.
6:46 yet again, incorrect. the red stain only covers you if the killer is right behind you, or in this case, if the doctor is running his addon which causes the red stain to constantly cover the survivor while they are in a certain level of madness.

More than two TH-camrs play DBD and are well known for it.
Ace in the hole doesnt give all survivors a boosted chance of getting better things in chest, it gives the USER a benefit that when they open a chest, the item has a 50% chance to have an add-on of a certain rarity. Up the Ante gives all survivors boosted luck, which in turn helps with chests, escaping hook on your own, and other perks that have to do with luck like Plunderer's Instinct which reveals chests through walls at a certain distance and increases the chance of finding better loot in chest for only the user.

It's a very fun game. But if you are easily triggered or care for what other people think of you, I'd advice you to not play Killer.

Actually,the Nurse unique perks and teleportation isn’t too much useful,it’s easier to dodge her attacks,and if you are with a flashlight with good addons,you can lose her without a trace
(i normally use the Rare Battery and the Strange light bulb,since is a incredible Addon setup on every flashlight)
If you are using the flashlight with some good addons against the Nurse,depending the circumstances,you can be the most important player in the round,I have a feeling the nurse is quite easier to blind,and escape for it without damage,and playing as Claudette,damn,your life is guaranteed in this round,because you can serve as bait for the Nurse,while the others do the generators,you make the Nurse busy,and if you get hurt,you can flash her,hide somewhere,and auto heal,then,you Carry on again,until the gate opens

Camping is a meant to be an implemented playstyle, stop complaining. It's part of the game, and there's plenty of ways to work around it. There has been plenty of times where survivors were able to escaped even with me staying near them. It's like calling a sniper not good at being a sniper for camping, when it's his literal job to find a spot sit and scope out enemies. It's our job to kill, and so whatever we do to kill, is what we are going to do, because it's how we play, and there's nothing wrong with staying near a hooked survivors, it's just how we play, and I've been able to get 4k's because of it.

AFROCOCOBEAN there are proper times to camp in dead by daylight. If survivors want to swarm the hook, and not progress on generators, than I sure as hell am not just going to let them get a free unhook. If the gates are powered, and you have a survivor hooked, there really isn't anything else you can do besides camp, and try to bait survivors to the hook. Some survivors over-exaggerate how often it happens too. Hell I once got accused of tunneling all four survivors at once...

As someone who has about 200 hours on this game, only a handful of these facts were new information to me. But I feel like sometimes you left out crucial information for people watching this video who haven’t played the game or are new and want to learn more. For example you mentioned you can sabotage hooks, you didn’t mention they’ll eventually respawn and you need a toolbox in order to do so. If you want to be superspecific, mention the perks that grant you the ability to do so. I find it crucial information! :)

1. His chainsaw can insta-down multiple survivors at a time.
2. His chainsaw ignores borrowed time, so there's really no point in saving other survivors.

In my opinion I feel it’s pretty balanced, to me it’s just that a lot of survivors are toxic and hold games hostage which then provokes the killers to camp them, which provokes the survivors to be more toxic.
I think it's pretty balanced. I regularly play as both killer and survivor. In a typical game, I honestly find survivor easier.
for an asymmetrical 4v1 its actually pretty well balanced, its come a long way since the start of the game.

I love playing Killer cause its so fun to slice people up as they desperately run away, smacking down pallets and hoping through windows, all to run straight into the bear trap I had meticulously put down at the start of the game. They wiggle and writhe to no avail, as my Iron Grasp keeps them in place. Sometimes they get out, but there's another trap nearby. And guess who just walked into it. I walk up and taunt them, hook them, then it goes black. Ruthless Victory.
