Cracking video Henry , Texas rigging is amazing fun , when in snags try pulling a bend in the rod so it’s under tension and flick the bail over so it’s pings the lures out , it works a fair amount of the time 👍 nice to see you uploading longer video also it’s a great watch
thank you, and yes, it's a method I use a fair bit to try and free from snags, but when I was filming and realised I was snagged, I didn't do it because I wanted to be able to film pulling for a break

Great video and so refreshing to see your enthusiasm and obvious delight to be out and catching, regardless of size. I think you and Larks fishing together again and bantering/abusing each other would be an awesome video. More please👏👌
You Sir are a man after my own heart. I fish with my loyal Greyhound Pippa Long Legs constantly. My single hooks are de-barbed & even if I lose the odd fish I am happy. No barbed trebles in my lure box. Might go fishing now. Why not! Enjoy!! 👍🍻
good to hear Chris, fishing with one's dog is so damn good. I don't lose fish because of crushed barbs, I am convinced of it, but then I do pull the hell out of my fish. Enjoy your fishing!

I never imagined that a sample to fish in the river for bass would work so well in the sea. Spectacular. Today I already learned something more about recreational fishing. Congratulations on the video and fishing.
found your channel yesterday. you can break off a lot of gear texas rigging. have you tried slinky weights .mostly used for drifting row on the bottom for steelhead. its a woven tube about as thick as a straw of different lengths filed with bird shot. fished on the end of a three way swivel .ten # test to the slinky weight twenty for the rest of your rig. if you do get hung you just lose the slinky weight. but they seldom snag. ten in. line from three way to slinky. fifteen in. to hook with zoom fluke. or curly tail grub any creature bait. pump the rod three or four feet let the slinky fall on tight line reel down pause and repeat.
Love the sound of that, thank you, makes a lot of sense! I saw this style of steelhead fishing done many years ago on Vancouver Island, I was amazed at how little gear was actually being lost. I will investigate..............

Good video. I think it's worth mentioning not to mix the Z man elaztec baits with other soft baits in lure boxes as they will melt in some crazy chemical reaction.
Such a cool place to fish 😀😀😀😀 Fishing for me is the equal of meditation, ain’t joking @! The catch come subsequently, first is the action in whatever fishing with artificial lures is ( bass, light spinning etc...etc..) . Thx again for coming out more frequently with your videos!!
