I swear even after watching the show live , later the videos , anytime Yoongi's Snooze, Amygdala and Dear my friend comes up can't control the tears. I can never watch Amygdala MV without crying. The man poured his heart and soul and let it all out , someone posted the video of Jimin during Amygdala his face was red. Jin was so teary, Hobi and Joon all got so emotional. I am unsure that Yoon-gi has ever publicly performed this song. For years this track always seemed like one of the most neglected in the D2 collection despite being one of the most emotional and relatable. I say this of listeners, reactors, and indeed Suga himself. Performing it at an inflection point, the last concert before military enlistment, performing it in Seoul with members including Jin and J Hope present, obviously accentuated the walking away aspect. Suga's path now is one of coming to grips with moving on. Most of us have had a friend or relative we had to distance ourselves from because that person couldn't stop following a path we simply needed not to be sharing. Our hopes for our own future couldn't be tethered to the ball and chain of a person who had changed from the wonderful person we had so appreciated. But our memories of the good times can't help but linger. We wonder could we have done something to steer that person to a healthier direction and kept them as a dear person. But we know that kind of commitment would have cost our hopes for ourselves projecting us on an unsatisfying life path. So we let that person go projecting emotions and rationalizations to prevent us from the what if thoughts which try to well up and are the crux of this song.

Tbh i couldn't hold my tears My friend passed away 4 months and i couldn't even give her th efinal hug I didn't see her either since we were apart for along time I just keep remembering stuff and i feel like my heart is really in a deep pain I feel yoongi's heartbreak it's not easy since friends are even clooser than family

I really think it was a mixed of emotions and Yoongi said after the concert that he started crying because he remembered all the hard times he and BTS had until really make it. But we didn't have the news of the military service so it was definitely that too. 2 years without doing what you were born to do and not knowing for sure how is going to be in 2025. That hits hard.

I really think it was a mixed of emotions and Yoongi said after the concert that he started crying because he remembered all the hard times he and BTS had until really make it. But we didn't have the news of the military service so it was definitely that too. 2 years without doing what you were born to do and not knowing for sure how is going to be in 2025. That hits hard.
