Just wanted to ask a quick question! As a fellow wheelchair user, not many people document travelling to/around Disneyland Paris, and I was wondering if there were any lifts or step-free access in the Val D’Europe train station?
Hi Penny!! Yes there was definitely a lift at Val Du Europe and also at Marne La Vallee station for Disney! Apologies, this was our first time vlogging and I didn’t do the best job showing more of the route, I will try during our September trip to show it a little more clearly!! There is sometimes a bit of a gap between the train and the platform even when it’s at the same level so that’s just something to note but you can request train assistance too I believe x
@@ElenaAndCary I really enjoyed your vlog, as I said it’s not a subject ( disabled access) covered much for rides, travel or dining! As there are no direct trains anymore, every hint or help from others on their journeys is a godsend for reassurance. I myself have travelled to DLP quite a few times and this is before being a wheelchair user and before having to change trains. So thank you for your reply and keep up the vlogs 😊
@@ElenaAndCary PS… I’m going to take my mobility scooter, which is a little longer than my wheelchair so hopefully the lifts are big enough to accommodate this! Can’t wait to see you in your next trip to DLP! Also see if you have or can give your views on the negatives (if any) as well as the positives. Anything you can document regarding accessibility in getting around Disneyland Paris and Val D’Europe would be really appreciated, as information is either really hard to find or not documented at all for those with limited mobility! X
