I‘ve been watching your videos for so long that I pretty much knew everything you said and still loved watching this! The PERFECT overview of how to do DLP the right way!
I found the best thing to do is to have a breakfast reservation in the park for 8:15, they let you into the park at 8:00a.m gives you time to get photos in front of the castle before any crowds. Then have your breakfast as it is buffet, which is not great as food can be warm at best and while your going to get your food if you haven't left a coat or something at your table, your table gets given away. If you finish this breakfast before 8:30 a.m before park opens to hotel guests you are already roughly at Cinderella's castle in the park. They have to get through the gate and then run up main st. Just to get to where you are. I did have some people run to the castle when i had entered the park at 8:30 a.m but as i had already done the photos of the castle there was no need to beat them there. As i could wander off to Big Thunder Mountain and be the first person there. As you mostly get castle runners for the perfect photo they have to rush as they have seconds before the other people get there. If you want to avoid the castle runners the breakfast is great as a lot less people in the park than when the hotel guests are allowed in.
I started watching when you went to the Efteling (because Im dutch). And now thanks to your video's I got the courage to go to Disneyland Paris by my self. I booked my first stay at a Disneyland hotel. So this video is verry helpfull.
Aw I’m so glad to read that! 🥹 And the Disneyland Hotel, wow! Hope you have a magical time 😁🎉 and I can’t wait to get back to Efteling later this year!
Great tips for our future plans to come to Disney Paris. This was really helpful especially comparing what is different compared to other Disney international parks.
This is my first watching of your videos. Looking forward to our first trip to Disneyland Paris next month for my 50th! (Disneyland / Anaheim was the 1st time for my 40th) In my research I've seen a number of other DLP videos. Yours has honestly helped the most. Thanks for sharing!!!
I'm going to Disney Paris in September for 5 days and I'm so excited! Im 30 and have never been to Disney before! Would just like to say I have loved watching your vids since I found your channel over the last few months and thank you for all the tips 😊
@@TawnyOwlWings It was so good! Felt surreal to be there after all my planning :) Lost my voice from how many times i went on Thunder Mountain. Only thing I missed out on was the Lion King Theatre show, it went on break 💔
I've been to Disneyland Paris a few times and watched your videos. This was a brilliant summary of all the specific aspects of this park. Definitely send this to first timers. Excellent Sam!
Thanks for the tips. Will be going at the end of september for a couple of days. Last time I was there was 15-20 years ago. Really looking forward to it. Love your video's and have watched a few of them.
I can't imagine any experience being better than Tokyo Disney parks! 100% reading all around for everything! But I do look forward to visiting Paris Disney. Thanks for the great tips!
Crushes coaster is also epic but the queues reflect it! Thunder mountain TOTALLY the best one out of other thunders! Got on hyperspace in less than 5 mins going single rider so saved my premier ultimate pass till later!
Hey Sam, thank you for all the tips! We are getting ready for our first trip to Disneyland Paris and your content is super helpful. My daughter would love to know where you got your Peter Pan shirt.
Hope you have an amazing time! :) The t-shirt is from Cakeworthy, but not sure they still sell it. Link here: www.cakeworthystore.com/sam4g0d with my code you can get a 10% off anything on there x

I consider myself super prepared but still found your video (and others you made) very helpful, thank you very much!!!
Great princess pavilion tip. If there are more than one of you, one of you join the queue the other stay by the exit and ask the next people who come out (if you’re feeling brave enough) what princess they just met. I’ve done this a few times and saved us queuing up as been someone we’ve already met x

We had an amazing amazing time - one day it rained alot but there were 5 or 6 really good indoor shows in Walt Disney Studio Park - I would definitely recommend the Disneyland electric sky parade at around 21.40 French time. Breathtaking
This is such a great guide Sam!! I’m hoping to return next year and it’s been a few years since I’ve been home but there’s so many changes!!! This has helped me ALOT especially the virtual queue for Marvel characters!! That’s going to be a priority for our trip 😊
This is so nice, I actually found your channel through your previous tips video when I was preparing for my first ever Disneyland trip. Happy to see you make an even more comprehensive video that could help future DLP guests. (Sidenote, I actually did visit the French parks on my birthday and neither of them had badges available in the morning lol so they're definitely rare)

Hi Sam, i love your videos. 🥰 So great, all your videos about DLP. Thank you for all the tips you share with us. We are just back from our last trip, last week. And we are already excited for our trip in november, first time for christmas❤.
We went last week, my friend and I did single rider for Ratatouille. The queue was about 2 minutes long and we ended up in the same carriage 🙌 it's such a good shout
I visited Disney for the first time in 2019 (just before Covid), and now we're planning our first family trip for our Honeymoon next year! What has changed from 2019 to now, and how can we make our first family trip and Honeymoon extra special? x
something i found out last summer: you can show up at the table service restaurants and ask if they have reservations for later! they usually have a few that aren't made available through the app/website. we were able to get a table for 4 at pym kitchen at lunch time that way even though we couldn't book anything through the app (the trip was organized fairly last minute so we had no choice lol), just by showing up in person the day before
My first time watching. I’m 38 and never been to any Disney park… a few questions… 1. Is the annual pass worth it? Can you say a bit more about that? 2. Are there any deals for UK residents the same way Americans and Canadians get discount for having Disney+ and so on? 3. When is the best time to visit Disneyland Paris? When there aren’t AS many kids etc! Do they have autumn decorations the same way Disneyland Florida do? 5. Which hotel would you recommend for first time visitors to Disney Paris? We are a couple, no kids and don’t want to spend a fortune but would like a nice hotel! Thanks!!
As European I have to say- in Europe (except UK) usually dinner will be eating between 1-3PM- no metter what- even at Disneyland 😂 It's really-reallllllllllly funny to heard you recommend having meal like lunch at 11:30 😂 We're not likely to have too heavy meal like lunch before 1 PM. 11:30 is time for cookies or sweets. The same meal at 6 - what may i eat at 6PM 😂- If you're hungry, grab some snack and you have to wait for supper. I can not imagine eat someting at 11:30 or 6PM 😂
Actually about the restaurant reservation, I tried to book chez rémy 6 months before our trip over the app and it was booked solid. I even tried out different group sizes, to see how many people could still get a reservation and I think the only availability they had was for 1-2 people at 11am. I kept checking the app, as you mentioned that in other videos, and then suddenly 3 months later it had availability again and I was able to book a table for 7 people for dinner. I don't know if some travel agencies reserve tables in advance and suddenly gave them free again or what happened... Anyways, we're going to chez rémy 😍
Planning to visit DLP this December. But I am torn between DLP and WDS. I have a 6 years old with me (125cm) so I think he'll qualify most of the rides. We've been to Disneyland Tokyo last February, I figure most of DLP classic rides are the same with the one in Tokyo. But of course in different language. But DLP is a classic, right? But almost all of the fun rides (Toy Story, Twilight Zone, Avengers are on the other park).
I thought it was funny when i was there 17th to 20th June 2024. The amount of people that paid for premier access as all the rides i went on were 15min or under wait times. Although Peter pan's flight was 45 mins plus, which for me was great as I didn't have to go on that one. I did get first person on Hyper space Mountain and big Thunder mountain. If you haven't done big thunder ride it, then ride it again at the back but don't face forward, turn to face the back. Turns the ride into a completely different experience. Well recommend doing that.
The city hall doesn't give out badges anymore, since October 2023, I was told by a cast member standing in front of it in April. Only the hotels have them, now.
Yes, it's allowed (in moderation - don't bring your picnic basket ;-)) and yes, it's more budget friendly. And you don't really find fresh fruit or vegetables to snack on in the parcs. It felt like it was fat, sugar and carbs galore...
Lovely video! Just so you know, the single use plastics are not allowed anymore in the EU. This is a newer rule.. and yes some of the options are not the best! But like you said, its a good thing as well.
Hi Sam i have been in Disneyland Paris twice and i miss been there so much but i really enjoy your videos on Disneyland Paris and i really loved your Chip n Dale Ears they always make me laugh and i love when you are standing near The Sleeping Beauty castle cause it is my favourite place to be in and i love watching the parades day and night and of course the fireworks amazing tips for people going to Disneyland Paris for the first time Sam. Some day i will go back Disneyland Paris and hopefully i will meet some my characters and princesses thank you so much for your amazing videos Sam it makes me feel like that i am there.
I was just (June 2024) in DLP with a firsttimer and they told me they stopped doing the badges, unfortunately. I asked at the hotel, they sent me to City Hall. The cast members at both City Hall and Studio Services said they no longer have them, but sometimes the hotels have some leftover stock that they hand out.
Yay love this video ❤🎉 can’t wait to go in November, we have done half board with our Disney hotel reservation. Have you ever done that at all? And if so would you say it’s worth paying the extra? Maybe video idea 🤔. Hope you had a lovely time 😊 xx
@Sam4G0d please do 🙏. I think there is more options in terms of restaurants you ate now able to go to, but I could be wrong it would be nice just to make sure it's worth the value:) x
I think it would be better if Disney did full versions of the shows in English and full versions in French so people could watch one or the other. Having half and half shows didn't make sense to me. As one character says something in English and the other character replies in French how is anyone suppose to keep up with what is going on. Unless you speak both languages. As mostly in the shows you can't see the actor face as they have a giant head over their head. So the show could be dubbed if the actor cant speak one of the languages.
Great and helpful video. We very much enjoyed our champagne on Main Street! I wonder if you were there the same time as us, looking at the lovely weather. We were there 7-9 June celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary. We used the individual passes for Crush’s Coaster as it always had a long line. Great ride. We also loved Tower of Terror. Such fun. Indiana Jones ride.. not so much. We both had shoulder and neck pain for days after that one. 😂Still rode Hyperspace and Flight Force after it though which prob didn’t help haha. Do you know why Ratatouille isn’t 3D at the moment? Useful info about the shows with a large family. Will keep that in mind when we’re back in December with our 3 kids. We got the nems when we were there as recommend in one of your previous videos. 😊 I agree, we thought there didn’t seem to be much open in the mornings food wise in the parks. Very limited for breakfast options.
So glad you had a lovely time, despite the Indiana Jones pain 🤣 that’s why I rarely ever go on that one these days! Ratatouille seems to have had better guest saturation 2D so they’re keeping it that way for now x
@@Sam4G0d interesting, thanks! We did ride it 3D back in 2017 but it’s probably better for our kids in 2D. Less likely to feel sick and probably a bit less scary.
We just visited last week and found that we were able to get a few of the rides done at Walt Disney Studios later on in the evening with shorter queue times.... just 10 mins for Ratatouille and 25 mins for Spiderman... this was in the time from around 7-9pm whilst people seemed to be in Disneyland getting prepped for the fireworks.
Can you make an infovideo one day about openingtimes? I mean: we go there often, but when we have magic hours, lots of restaurants, in the parks as well as disney village, and even the shops and most of the rides were closed. Can you explain those things? We don't get the schedule right, every time it is different, maybe seasonal, we don't get it
I met a girl called Jessica when waiting for Hyper Space mountain to open up. I let her sit in the front row with me, we had a chat she was traveling alone too . Didn't see her after that as i had to get on with my day as i had booked into an American restaurant for dinner so had to get everything one and i was off back to Studios park. Which i think Disney needs to make it easier for hotel guests to jump between the parks.
Hi , can you go in and out as much as you want between 2 parks ? Can you buy your souvenir and pick up in front of the park when u ready to get out from the park like in the USA ?

Ahh you’re most welcome! So glad you enjoy the videos 🥰
Yes, sadly it's very hit and miss x
Is a 3 night stay long enough? And is it busy in early January? Thank you 😊
Can we use our magic bands plus at Disneyland Paris? Or is this just a Disneyland in CA thing.
No magic bands in Disneyland Paris x
Yay love this video ❤🎉 can’t wait to go in November, we have done half board with our Disney hotel reservation. Have you ever done that at all? And if so would you say it’s worth paying the extra? Maybe video idea 🤔. Hope you had a lovely time 😊 xx
Thank you! Yeah, I have done the meal plan, but not for a long time! Might try it again at some point 😊
I agree, we thought there didn’t seem to be much open in the mornings food wise in the parks.
Less likely to feel sick and probably a bit less scary.
wow what a great video sam thanks.
Yes, perfect time for rides! 😁
Hi Sam, such a detailed guide to all the top tips for Disneyland Paris. Really enjoyed watching. x
Thanks 🥰
What are the quietest months to visit? Also when do you think the studios park will be worth visiting?
Studios is worth visiting now, almost all the attractions and shows are still open 😁 quietest months are Jan/Feb and early November x
Can you make an infovideo one day about openingtimes? I mean: we go there often, but when we have magic hours, lots of restaurants, in the parks as well as disney village, and even the shops and most of the rides were closed. Can you explain those things? We don't get the schedule right, every time it is different, maybe seasonal, we don't get it
Sam! Where can I find me a Mickey waffle? I am going this coming May for my Bday 😊
Are they bringing back the princess breakfast?? Do you know when? I can't find any info online x
Yes, July :)
Thank you for the video. Quick question, where do the arcades lead? Do you end up in discovery land etc?
To the castle :) they basically go across both sides of Main Street.
Just got back from our first visit just a few weeks ago and already want to go back! My kids were on the look out for you! 😂
Ahh hope you had a lovely time! 😁🥰
I have been to the marvel hotel
Do you recommend staying there?
Yes
Big thunder mounting height is quite low, ok for a 7 year old?
Depends on your child - I first went on it when I was 6 and found it quite scary, but also loved it at the same time haha!
Sorry where did you say sometimes Mikey can be for pictures which land would be that?
Can you still buy tickets at the door as a disabled person + carer? Because I thought i have to show original documentation??
Hi , can you go in and out as much as you want between 2 parks ? Can you buy your souvenir and pick up in front of the park when u ready to get out from the park like in the USA ?
Yes, you can switch between the 2 parks as often as you like, if you have park-hopper :)
@@Sam4G0d ,Thank you
Hi, can you tell me when will be decorated for christamas?
