- Eerily similar to the ever so popular Baccarat Rouge 540, Trajan by @electimusslondon is a unisex fruity, floral aromatic amber style fragrance that captivates the senses, same as Baccarat Rouge 540 but a bit better. With fruits and citrus up top such as blood and mandarin orange, lemon and bergamot that gives this masterpiece a bright and uplifting opening. A mid of lavender, sage and saffron and a base of cedar wood, oakmoss and ambergris. The price on the Electimuss website is $235 for a 100ml bottle. I got mine for $100. It’s probably one of my favorite summer scents and I find it more wearable than most 540 style scents. I’d wear Trajan over Instant Crush or the cheaper 540 clones any day!

I like how I don’t go nose blind to this. I love BR540 but I can’t really smell it, which breaks my heart 😢
😂😂😂 i have experience with this brand, and i like the house, but a good majority, in my opinion, does smell like other popular fragrancea. I wouldnt call it a clone house, but its undeniable what they smell like. Presentation is fire, but you smell what you smell

Interesting you'd do a review that would tie in with Baccarat Rouge 540 as I remembered you raving on about it a while back so a couple of weeks ago, I went to London to get my nose on a sample and it's a very curious scent for me. Interestingly different which means I would like to get it one day for my collection but I've just had a look at this company (created in 2015) and they're based in the really posh area of London (Mayfair, where I hang out like a tramp if I'm visiting my friends at Lalique!)
They do seem to be pushing for the high end market (especially with their prices) and a 100ml bottle of Trajan is about 60 quid cheaper (per 100ml) than Baccarat Rouge 540 so I guess it could be a cheaper choice if you didn't have mega bucks to spend but even at 175 quid, Trajan isn't a "Poor man's" substitute. I've got my eye on the Baccarat Rouge 540 travel set that has 5x30ml refills and a bespoke atomizer which costs 275 quid, stupid expensive and will take a year to save up for but I buy from the posh London shops as I get the amazing customer service experience so I'll give Electimuss a miss for now. If they come up with something solid and original then I'll give them a look but I'm happy to go with my less stupid expensive Lalique for now.
Well to my nose it smells very similar to BR540 just with added citrus and fruit up top. Too similar for me to want a full bottle of it.

This isn’t the only fragrance they have that smells like something else. I can’t imagine paying premium price at retail for something that isn’t entirely original.
