Im in Australia and have use 25:1 for the last 40 years in all my saws with no overheating or carbon problems. My dad told me they used to use 16:1 when chainsaws first became readily available in the logging industry. I have rebuilt many saws that were running 50:1, despite my advice they still persist with 50:1.
The difference is that the carb is a (cloned) walbro! Also, it has a different coil (Italy made) and starter rope! Then, of course, you have some coler difference! I had more issues from the higher end models myself! The walbro carbs they use cause me more issues with customer returns than any other parts! The (lower cost) units have the hilic carbs in them, and I really like those carbs! I have found most of the clones of the Husqvarna units cause the most problems! The stihl clone do real well. Neo-tec or holzffarma The black farmmac 660 and the black 372 farmmac are saws to stay awake from! The black and gray carbon fiber looking saws run out super nice! Truth is most of the rest of Neo-tec saws run out nice! I hope this helped... as far as for the v I'm not sure lol 😆 maybe version
Have had bad luck with the 372 clone carbs, but good luck buying oem carb kits and rebuilding them. I run 40:1 also buy Echo red armor in bulk it’s the cheapest per ml, have used Amsoil Saber also both are good and have great additive packages mix in.
@@majorpixchannel7146 can’t remember been a couple years, they both were Farmertec g372’s I sold them since. I’m waiting for the neotec 660 kit for a first time full kit build.
@zeromark202 just asked them again when speaking to them... they said any day! I'm waiting too! Soon as I see them, I will message you, brother! They will go fast!
I do not know a lot about chainsaws, but I am trying to learn more. I bought the Farm Mac F660. I put 40:1 ratio gas in and started it up fairly easy. I set it down and let it run for about 5 minutes. When i cut it off....i pushed the button on the very top til it stopped. I then tried to start it about 15 minutes later, and it won't start at all. 😢 What did i do wrong? And how can i correct it?
It's excellent...if you order, use this link and majorpixneotec at check out for $20 off your purchase! neotecworld.com?sca_ref=2995598.iaBOQ5tywB We are also a Neo-tec dealer! And sell to anywhere in the United States! Either way, you want to go sir! Thanks for watching 👀 🙂 🙏
@@majorpixchannel7146 thanks for the reply. 1 more question. I asked neotec what the difference was between the ns892 & ns892v and they said nothing, I asked about the pro-flow filter and I was told that they no longer sell it because they had issues with it. Do you you know what the deal is with that?
@Jeff Power yes sir! So the proflo airfilter was discontinued because of people not oiling the spong filter! So the fines would get pass the filter! That was the only issue! So they didn't want to be liable for warranty work! The only difference in the 892 and the v is the proflo air filter and the a full wrap on the v. The rest is the same!

Very nice video. I've had my eyes on that one. Thanks for the information
You're welcome. Thanks for watching 👀
Would you recommend the F660vw or NS892v for milling? Any recommendations?
what is the difference between the Farmac F660V (High end version), the NS 892(V)? What does the V stand for?

Iv don't that as well! Did you have the problems with the walbro clone? Or the hilic?
Iv had tons of problems from the walbro cloned carb. Might just be my experience
