Hi Bro! Awesome video as usual, i was really looking for this one, since Inquisitor is my favourite character to play in WotR, and as you say Aeon is what complements it the best. I wanted to point out a few things though, because you have some foundations laid out very nicely, but you don't capitalize on them in this build. And they also proc on different damage instances. - Charge (Boots of Stampede, Living Ram armor, Mythic Charge) - Jinx Falchion (which for this reason is a GREAT alternative to Gravesinger) - Resounding Blow spell add another instance - Elemental Barrage (each Geniekind Element, which need one Loremaster level, Dragon figurine) If you combine all this, we should be looking at around 120d6 per attack (probably more) I'd also like to suggest this: a little more focus on Persuasion (Intimidate), because it's basically free, and we're the best suited class in the game for that. We're gonna go for the Cornugon Smash/Shatter Defense line anyway That means Half-Orc is a great contender beside Human. You get one less feat, but bonus to Intimidate, Diehard (alternative racial) Tattoo (same), and proficiency with Greataxes and Falchions, which is a win-win for us. Then, i really suggest a 2 level dip (well, start) in Gendarme, choosing Order of the Cockatrice. Not only we get an upstart with BaB, which we need for our melee feats, we also get a Horse from the start (not a bad choice, and we can still ride it while enlarged), a bonus feat, free Dazzling Display (!), and the Braggart ability (+2 morale bonus on attacks made vs foes affected by fear effects = intimidate). Then a 1 level dip into Loremaster for Geniekind, as previously said. We should also consider Travel Domain (Impossible Domain) for better positioning for charging. I believe we could also be able to fit in the Enduring Spells line, and have 24h buffs like Geniekind and the rest, thanks to all the tools at our disposal (like the CL Gaze) Please tell me what you think!
Why do you pick "Warrior of the Linnorm Kingdom" and not "Lumberjack"? It also gives proficiencies to all axes, +1 Athletics which you picked and +1 Fortitude save which i see as a bit better than +5 cold resistance when we have Resist energy spell very early.

The thing you're missing is that the fights you say have to be done at "lower power level" (most of them) simply do NOT require those short duration buffs at all, even on Unfair 😃 My Builds at least are not made to be useless without them. You also don't have to rest every 5 minutes, mostly because of Greater Enduring Spells and also the fact, once again, you DON'T need to use the short lasting abilities for anything but the BOSS encounters, which are usually 1-2 per dungeon. I have a challenge for you! Make a build that doesn't use a pet, doesn't rely on critical hits completely, and is capable of melee and spellcasting. If you've already done this then congratulations on beating the challenge pfft.
Well, I think my Fey Lord Build is like that 😁: th-cam.com/video/3SN8fJkTIWE/w-d-xo.html Lich Queen Witch can do it too thanks to OP Lich buffs to melee, but it has less melee focus than Fey lord: th-cam.com/video/LmyPV0_ovrw/w-d-xo.html
Cool stuff, I'd probably stop inquisitor at 16, then demonslayer and 3 levels mutation warrior; pretty much the same stuff but +2BAB for another attack and 10 more minutes mutagen, though you only get it level 20 (or 19 if you wait for demonslayer, though I wouldn't as the demonslayer bonus is basically a better mutagen)
In my Aron run I used something quite simmilar to what you recommend here, but I used scythe instead of a greataxe. Wouldn't say it was unsanely broken, but that one scythe that does AoE damage paired with cleave made everything in the first too acts look easy. Though I was wondering, with Aeon banes doing so much of a heavy lifting in your terms of damage and utility, wouldn't some sort of dual wielding build be better suited for inquisitor aeon combo?
I've heard Inquisitor Aeon (Monster Tactician archetype) is also good for summoner building, particularly of evil alignment for more fighty summon options. I assume you've already looked at that in your playtesting and theorycrafting for summoning guide?
Something I noticed watching this: you advise to select greater magic weapon as your first level 3 spell known "because it stacks with your normal weapon's bonus". I don't know if it was this recent patch or the previous one a few days ago, but this is no longer true. Greater Magic Weapon now functions the way it does in the tabletop version of the game: it is an enhancement bonus, just like the bonus on magical weapons already, and only the highest enhancement bonus applies. The same goes for Magic Vestment and magical armors.
It's still a great spell tho, lets you keep everyone's weapons at a good enhancement bonus even if the weapon naturally would start to lag behind. Makes all sorts of weapons valid to use through the entire game instead of having to discard them later.
I have just tested GMW and it still working as before. The AB roll will still show the +5, same for below the damage range in the weapon tab. However, for some reason it will show as less in the weapon properties.
@cRPG Bro Interesting. Maybe I was looking at the wrong portion, or adding something incorrectly. I'll check again tonight but I was positive that I was not getting any benefit from it except when cast upon a weapon with a lower enhancement bonus than the spell would grant.
Aeon Divine Hound has access to Judgments and shares them with Pet. Also a different spell list with some Nature spells, which is a bit better since the Aeon Spellbook is mostly already the Inquisitor spells anyways outside of Mythic ones, so Hunter has a few unique ones that Inquisitor doesn't get, even with Aeon. Aeon Sanctified Slayer has Sneak Attack and also Bane Weapon (which stacks with Aeon Bane) for some higher boosts to damage and dispelling everything with way higher uses of it/day. Also Studied Target which makes up a bit for the loss of Judgments, and some bonus feats. Both have bonus Teamwork Feats, but Inquisitor doesn't share and doesn't need party members to activate them, while Hound shares them with Pet.
I believe strongest (kinda close to that) inquisitor for min/max purposes is 16 inquisitor, 1 monk, 2 paladin, 1 hellknight. But this will do if you go lawful path (angel, aeon or dragon). If someone prefer other path then 16 inqusitor, 2 instinctual warrior, 1 demonslayer and 1 vivsectionist or 1 loremaster.
Hey! Do you have any ideas about the gold dragon builds? I haven’t seen anything interesting except 1 bloodrager/5 mutagen fighter/10 dragon disciple/4 mutagen fighter for a while.
I dont know if you have a specific order to these videos or not but I was hoping to make a kineticist for my first unfair run and would love you could make an updated build for enhanced edition
@@cRPGBro yep I've already seen that, but stating which archetype you choose for these builds is good. Am I right mostly its the Bulwark (for tanking) that you are choosing?
@cRPGBro thanks man! I did kingmaker with no sense of direction and it was a chaotic cluster after a certain point in the game. Based on characters that were available. So, i was looking for guides on WotR and yours have been so helpful.
How exactly do you reliably trigger the shaken/frightened/panicked on enemies for Shatter Defense? Is there one reliable way that always works out with minimal effort, like an item or other feat, or what?
I'd personally say his Angel Widland Shaman, i tried all 3 and i gotta say that thing is OP AF! Hexes, merged angel spells till lvl 10, a powerful pet and does great damage!
I'd say either Angel Wildland Shaman, Cleric or Oracle. You can't go wrong with any of them. Shaman can provide Hexes, while Cleric can provide Domain Powers. For a beginner, you might prefer Angel Oracle due to spontaneous casting.
I've noticed you don't tend to take Divine Favor in the early game in your builds. Is having Cure Light Wounds in the Shield Maze more important at high difficulty etc?
Yep, you can go Demonslayer Ranger 20 then Mutation Warrior 20! If you want more Sneaks, then Demonslayer 20 Slayer 20, but I prefer the combo above. Ranger has the Sense Vital spell for sneaks. I would then go for Kukris due to higher crit since Ranger/Slayer starts with Martial Profiency. Feat selection is similar, get the DW feats through Ranger Dual Wield Style or Slayer Talents, can completely ignore DEX this way.
Either Falchions or Scimitars then. I have guides for the best ones in my Best Items Playlist: th-cam.com/play/PL8adH-ifQHcAEw7ADoYVyDgvuopDczNd_.html Fauchards can be good too, but you need to spend an extra feat for them.
Yes, because by the time we pick those and delay our pet progression, the Pet already has all sorts of different bonuses to make it extremely powerful regardless, especially with the Aeon Perfect Form spell.
I think I might get started on this as one of my next runs, but as much as I can overlook RP stuff in the name of gameplay power...I just can't find it in myself to use Grave Singer on an Aeon build. Swapping to Judge archetype too since that one seems more fun to me. Anybody got any other weapon classes/specific weapons they really love? Looking at the Blade of Order Scimitar right now.
@@cRPGBro Oh man, I hadn't considered Fauchards. Mighty Blow of Good would be a GREAT idea. I'll just have to drop an early feat for Exotic. Thank you kindly, sir.
i am too new to these pathfinder stuff. just completed kingmaker and wotr yet still i know like zro things. how is it even possible to get 54 on all atributes is insane
damn yes this is great!) maybe I'll say garbage, but I have a question. Is this layout suitable for the monster warlord subclass? I don't understand English well, sorry bro.
monster warlord? I assume you mean monster tactician? It'll probably end up being pretty divergent from this build -- it'll have significantly lower personal damage without sneak attacks or studied targets. In Exchange it gains animal summons which are fairly weak compared to animal companions since you don't get to give them gear or choose their feats. You'd probably want to focus on the summoning gaze, and perhaps get ascendant summons as well. If I recall there might be some gear options that boost summons as well? All in all it would probably just be straight up a different build and certainly could be playable at core, but overall weaker and a choice made for flavor
If you mean you cannot pick it, then it's because it was very recently added through the newest Patch (Dec. 5th), so perhaps your version is outdated? Inquisitors can pick it as early as they reach 6 BAB, which should be at level 8-9.
This is one place where I´m gonna disagree with you on the Archtype. Santificed Slayer is great, but I´ll always prefer Sacred Huntsmaster. The level one pet that ALSO gets bonus feats is just too good to pass. You can even make a nasty Trip build since you can give your pet Tandem Trip for free and you get True Strike for an almost guaranteed atteempt.
The Axe is truly the best weapon in the game, simple as 😃 But other high crit range weapons can be good too such as: Fauchard, Scimitar or Falchion. Rapier and Kukri too but they are more for DEX characters.
How do you get STR as high as 54 and Attack bonus to 101? Even with many buffs and the same build at this guy I only sit at 42 str and +51 to attack. Thanks for the guide!
Nice build but i think Sacred huntsman is a better archetype for this build: 1) pet at lvl 1 (early power) 2) favored enemies and bonus team feats applies to pet too ( slayer's features don't apply to pet) 3) yoy don't need to "waste" a domain to get the pet (meaning that u can save a mythic feat) 4) pet can get outflank and precise strike for free
@@marcocolosimo1716 what does the huntsmaster get, that applies to the pet, except for teamwork feats? because the pet can get teamworkfeats on it's own, and there aren't that many good feats to pick instead, that make a big difference.
@@mahe4 ok i'll explain better: 1) it applies favored enemies too 2) you can get outflank for free for pet (freeing a slot for the new Lunge feat) without meeting the requisite of int 3 3) you can get precise strike (1d6 extra damage), Coordinated Maneuvers (+2 competence bonus on all combat maneuver checks), Back to Back (+2 circumstance bonus to AC), Shake it Off (from +2 to +4 bonus to saves) for free on pet too making your pet much stronger 4) you don't need to get animal domain, which is taken only to get a pet but since you already have it, u don't need to take it and you can instead start with more useful domain like Comunity. 5) same reason as 4^, you free a Mythic Feat which is the most op feature in the game and can get some extra domain early (meaning in extra power).

Remember that you can use scrolls of Echolocation as well, excellent for melee builds!
Yep, that is an amazing tip indeed!
The Aeon actually gets it as a spell themselves too.
I have a challenge for you! Make a build that doesn't use a pet, doesn't rely on critical hits completely, and is capable of melee and spellcasting. If you've already done this then congratulations on beating the challenge pfft.
Well, I think my Fey Lord Build is like that 😁: th-cam.com/video/3SN8fJkTIWE/w-d-xo.html
Lich Queen Witch can do it too thanks to OP Lich buffs to melee, but it has less melee focus than Fey lord: th-cam.com/video/LmyPV0_ovrw/w-d-xo.html
Sounds like a Crusader that merges with Angel to me, just not taking the Animal domain
Sure, Oracle + Loremaster + Paladin + Hellnight Angel.
I assume you've already looked at that in your playtesting and theorycrafting for summoning guide?
correct if I am wrong but doesn't resounding blow also add your bane to it, making it a pretty good damage option for tough battles.
What’s the main differences between this and the previous Aeon build you made?
Napoleon, is that u?
@@sharangcool Indeed. I need to know the answer before marching to Waterloo!
🔥🔥🔥
😎
Do you think it would be possible to use this build but mold it into a shield bash build instead? Or would this be too feat heavy?
With the oracle build... Can you factor lunge in or would you still recommend your most recent build?
Hey! Do you have any ideas about the gold dragon builds? I haven’t seen anything interesting except 1 bloodrager/5 mutagen fighter/10 dragon disciple/4 mutagen fighter for a while.
I dont know if you have a specific order to these videos or not but I was hoping to make a kineticist for my first unfair run and would love you could make an updated build for enhanced edition
btw, can you make a motherless tiefling biting build?
no discussion about pet archetype choices? are you picking Bulwark routinely if not specifically mentioned?
I don't cover Pets on all builds because I already have a main Pet Guide you can check here: th-cam.com/video/TCPWDRtlV50/w-d-xo.html
@@cRPGBro yep I've already seen that, but stating which archetype you choose for these builds is good. Am I right mostly its the Bulwark (for tanking) that you are choosing?
What class of animal do you choose at level 4. Thanks for all your content
Hi there, ideally you want Bully and then follow my Pet Guide for the complete build here: th-cam.com/video/TCPWDRtlV50/w-d-xo.html
What is your strongest build?angel oracle or angel crusader?
I'd personally say his Angel Widland Shaman, i tried all 3 and i gotta say that thing is OP AF! Hexes, merged angel spells till lvl 10, a powerful pet and does great damage!
I'd say either Angel Wildland Shaman, Cleric or Oracle.
You can't go wrong with any of them.
Shaman can provide Hexes, while Cleric can provide Domain Powers.
For a beginner, you might prefer Angel Oracle due to spontaneous casting.
Im a beginner.so i will try the angel oracle build.for the second palythrough i will try the wild shaman build.
@@nadunthathsara1059 bro, u indian?
@@sharangcool no im srilankan
I've noticed you don't tend to take Divine Favor in the early game in your builds. Is having Cure Light Wounds in the Shield Maze more important at high difficulty etc?
I think he's said that he tends to put Divine Favor on a party member most of the time, specifically Camellia.
Anyway I can make one a duel weld trickster legend with pet?? Maybe then go slayer and rogue
I just don’t know what stat spread I should use or best weapon
Yep, you can go Demonslayer Ranger 20 then Mutation Warrior 20!
If you want more Sneaks, then Demonslayer 20 Slayer 20, but I prefer the combo above.
Ranger has the Sense Vital spell for sneaks.
I would then go for Kukris due to higher crit since Ranger/Slayer starts with Martial Profiency.
Feat selection is similar, get the DW feats through Ranger Dual Wield Style or Slayer Talents, can completely ignore DEX this way.
Why do you dislike the aeon bound of possibility cape?
NICE
Thanks!
How did you get x5 crit. I can see the x3 from the Greataxe plus x1 from a Skald. But where does the other x1 come from?
Mythical feats?
@@ArcaneSorceror Yea, I missed that one :)
All of your builds help me a lot, but this time i´ll not use the greataxe, any sugestions?
Either Falchions or Scimitars then. I have guides for the best ones in my Best Items Playlist: th-cam.com/play/PL8adH-ifQHcAEw7ADoYVyDgvuopDczNd_.html
Fauchards can be good too, but you need to spend an extra feat for them.
Are those levels in demonslayer and vivi worth missing out on two animal companion levels?
Yes, because by the time we pick those and delay our pet progression, the Pet already has all sorts of different bonuses to make it extremely powerful regardless, especially with the Aeon Perfect Form spell.
what should i change here if i wanna take trickster instead?
I have a challenge for you. Build a Fighter (Aldori Defender), Swordlord and Duelist, using LEGEND after act 5.
what exactly gives you all the equal attributes ?
Aeon lv 7 Mythic Spell called Perfect Form.
It sets all your stats to the highest one.
Can you do a Legend build?
Yep, Legend Guide is coming soon!
I think ppl are sleeping on aeon because when WOtr was in beta Aeon was terribly underpowered but it received a massive buff in 1.0.5 I think.
Other weapons with high crit range are always golden, such as Scimitar, Falchion, Kukri & Fauchard!
@@cRPGBro Oh man, I hadn't considered Fauchards. Mighty Blow of Good would be a GREAT idea. I'll just have to drop an early feat for Exotic. Thank you kindly, sir.
what other weapons could be used with this build?
High crit range ones such as Scimitar, Falchion & Fauchard would be the best!
i am too new to these pathfinder stuff. just completed kingmaker and wotr yet still i know like zro things. how is it even possible to get 54 on all atributes is insane
Aeon's ultimate mythic spell sets all your stats to the highest score 😁
how are you getting 54 for all your stats?
That's all thanks to the ultimate Aeon Spell: Perfect From, which sets all your stats to your highest.
@@cRPGBro ah ha thanks for the response
damn yes this is great!) maybe I'll say garbage, but I have a question.
@@narninian2796 thanks for the answer, bro)
It is not recommended for that archetype, but can still be done.
But I'm planning on releasing a Summoner Guide soon which will cover that class!
@@cRPGBro awesome)
@@cRPGBro thanks, bro)
I don’t see lunge
He already did an Aeon Sacred Huntsman build tho. Or was it Divine Hound ?
Love this one thank u, won't use the axe because u are overselling it 😆..the rest is very nice however 👌👍
The Axe is truly the best weapon in the game, simple as 😃
But other high crit range weapons can be good too such as: Fauchard, Scimitar or Falchion.
Rapier and Kukri too but they are more for DEX characters.
Shape change druid! :)
Nice guide still this is NOT A SWARM BUILD))) Still waiting for one.
How do you get STR as high as 54 and Attack bonus to 101? Even with many buffs and the same build at this guy I only sit at 42 str and +51 to attack. Thanks for the guide!
Also, how is that all the stats become the exact same when using Perfect Form?
For that, please check my How to Stack AB Guide here: th-cam.com/video/omfTstdpBdw/w-d-xo.html
That's due to how Perfect Form works, it sets all your stats to your highest one for the duration.
Nice build but i think Sacred huntsman is a better archetype for this build:
1) pet at lvl 1 (early power)
2) favored enemies and bonus team feats applies to pet too ( slayer's features don't apply to pet)
3) yoy don't need to "waste" a domain to get the pet (meaning that u can save a mythic feat)
4) pet can get outflank and precise strike for free
but no study target, no slayer talent and no sneak attacks. thats 3 really good features.
@@mahe4 yes but they don't apply to pet too
@@marcocolosimo1716 what does the huntsmaster get, that applies to the pet, except for teamwork feats?
because the pet can get teamworkfeats on it's own, and there aren't that many good feats to pick instead, that make a big difference.
@@mahe4 ok i'll explain better:
1) it applies favored enemies too
2) you can get outflank for free for pet (freeing a slot for the new Lunge feat) without meeting the requisite of int 3
3) you can get precise strike (1d6 extra damage), Coordinated Maneuvers (+2 competence bonus on all combat maneuver checks), Back to Back (+2 circumstance bonus to AC), Shake it Off (from +2 to +4 bonus to saves) for free on pet too making your pet much stronger
4) you don't need to get animal domain, which is taken only to get a pet but since you already have it, u don't need to take it and you can instead start with more useful domain like Comunity.
5) same reason as 4^, you free a Mythic Feat which is the most op feature in the game and can get some extra domain early (meaning in extra power).
cant u do any melee build without abusing pet
