I had 2014 F800GT as my first bike for 3 seasons and more than 40000km. Seems nowdays such bikes are not longer produced (( It's not overpriced, tightly packed with all necessary electronics, powerful enough and incredibly versatile. Without luggage bags it can easily be an every day bike - leave just one topcase for your backpack and filter through Moscow traffic easily. Take all three bags and you're ready for some travel. Once I did 950km in a single day on it. It's lightweight... almost like a bicycle. Fuel consumption... doesn't exist )). Also very robust. There was only one major issue occured in those 40k - rubber bushing in rear shock absorber were almost vanished. Ideally in such a situation the whole absorber should have been replaced, but it was 800EUR, so we've made a new bushing in workshop from polyurethane rubber. So, that were good times ) thank you for some nostalgia ) Now I've moved to another country and bought a much heavier bike and still touring )
@@bartoszymanski Should be OK but try to sit it first. There was a problem with knees for tall drivers on previous F800ST model, GT should be fixed. And be shure, that you're buying bike not with low seat option. I'm just 178, for me it's OK.
I really enjoyed this 👏You presented well & have helped me clarify some queries I had. I'm being unusally indecisive in finalizing which bike to get, and your video, for all its beauty, has certainly put the proverbial cat amongst the pidgeons. Used prices on some of these are making it very difficult for me to justify certain other, bigger & more expensive models on my list. Anyhow, thank you very much. You easily earned a sub!
Very great review! I had a motorbike accident back in December and this is the bike i really fancy to come back on! Really great features and price point and absolutely beautiful looking at!
The more reviews I watch on the f800gt the more I’m falling in love with it,one problem locally is I can’t find one to test ride and I really don’t want to make the mistake of buying one from an online dealer and find that I don’t like it,although that seems highly unlikely and now that I’m getting older the lightness of the bike will make it easier to maneuver …just not jelling with a CB500x I brought last year..great review thank you 👍
Fantastic bike, 213 kg wet, almost 90NM at 5800 rpm and engine from Rotax, belt, esa, ride by wire. I think is the best sport tourer middle weight on the market even today.

A lovely comment, thanks for sharing.
hey, I'm thinking about buying this motorcycle. I'm 190 cm tall, do you think this is a good idea?

Love my 2013 F800GT. Sounds even better with the Leo Vince slip on. Added Vstream sport touring windscreen also.
Love my 2013 GT so much - got it now since 10 years - until now, I Don‘t want something else - Belt drive is insane 😊

Have you looked at the Yamaha Tracer 9GT? Brilliant engine, full of tech in the standard trim, including 6 axis IMU.
@@ionescugeorge2003 Chain though...not having to care about a chain being lubed enough on a longer trip is worth so much (to me at least).
Good
Is that the 49L top box? Looks too big to be the 28:?
I believe it’s a 28 litre top case
