In reading the comments, hopefully I can answer some of them. Our musicians were told to vacate the instruments as soon as the song was over for the next choir. Praise music was played but it was after the next choir's musicians were in place. After we left the stage, we were backstage bucking like crazy. Other choirs joined us and we had a communal praise break. Courtney (the directeess) is taller and darker than Fantasia, although both ladies will get a good praise on...lol Courtney and her husband (he was in the choir in the 2nd row) have left Refreshing Spring to start their own church. We miss them terribly.
You know they had a HUGE preshow talk with every musician "look no matter what happens you will be found contractually at fault and fined if you so much as hit a musical note if an unexpected spiritual moment should happen' haha
I prolly would have gotten fired.....or may not have gotten paid or went to jail because i would have had that organ talking singing dancing running ect the holy ghost would have just played through me....haaaaaaa glory thank ya lord thank ya lord ummm ummmm

They had to 😂. As a musician, ain’t no way I would’ve sat there and not played a note. 😂. They must’ve turned the mic’s on those instruments off 😂
