Growing up in church singing I can totally relate to this. NIPPY was having CHURCH ALL by herself! That's just one of the things I loved about her... She may have strayed like we do... but she ALWAYS gave it her ALL to represent GOD in a business that is all about everything else. It was a sincere praise she gave unto Him & took the good news of the Gospel all over the GLOBE unapologetically. Can we get an AMEN for that?

This performance ( actualy the entire program) was truly epic, perfect performances personified. Let's hold onto those magical musical masterful bygone days because we will never witness them again because the shows today aren't like they used to be. I actually stopped watching awards shows because without a Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and Prince top notch standing ovation performance it just doesn't feel the same to me. Not trying to knock the singers of today or the shows ( and kudos to them all honestly no disrespect) but nope I just can't get with it like I used to so give me my bygone award days anytime, so yeah I am forever eternally grateful for those days gone by masterpiece awards shows.
