Thanks for the video. A local shop quoted me $800 to replace the BCM. I got a little sick then started doing some research and saw this. I ordered the USB version which made me a little nervous, but the whole process took about 10 minutes. So far so good!

I have a similiar problem with my 2011 F-150 but with my right rear turn signal not working but brake, reverse light is fine. My front right and right mirror blinks but fast. I think I found my solution to this problem. Thank you 👍👍👍

Thank you for this video. I ordered the wifi version, worked very easy. I connected to it from my phone using it as wifi. It scanned everything than I went back and reset the bcm. I couldnt believe it worked!!! My blinkers and tail lights are working as they should. Thanks again!
James Pennington i just fixed my inlaws truck using the method. I actually used a free app called car scanner elm obd2 (available on android and apple) and the wifi scanner off amazon. It worked perfectly. I scanned the truck and the bcm error code came up. Cleared the code and it worked instantly

Reese Snyder hi Reese. The turn signals are still working, just blinking faster on one side vs the other. Would they still be working with a bad fuse??
Well could indicate a fuse is going bad or a bulb is going bad do you have all brake lights tail lights etc? If there is a bad connection that can cause a fast blinker too I dont think the obd2 reader would help

i dont recomend downloading forscan. i recomend downloading car scanner it was right in the instruction manual of the elm327 i paid and downloaded forscan was crap did not work wasted an hour as soon as i downloaded car scanner everything connected instantly cleared bcm code within a minute
Hi there! So, my truck is doing the same thing. Passenger side brake and blinker not working. Bulbs and fuses and brake switch are all good. So are you saying we do not have to replace the BCM- instead just this ELM327??

Blinking to fast could indicate a bad fuse have you checked that yet ?

Dang, I reset my dtc’s even though it didn’t find any errors. Fuse is good and bulbs are new.

That I'm not exactly sure of do you have a conversion of some kind? If not toss back in the normal bulbs if same problem persists then yes

Reset the bcm on the app you can reset codes even if there isn't any
