In this clip, Michael Thompson recounted being attacked by a hitman from the Mexican Mafia. During the attack, the hitman tried slashing his throat and ended up slicing his ear in half. Thompson said he was cut in the back of the throat almost a single millimeter away from a vital artery. It wasn’t soon after this attack that he was finally paroled due to his practicing of nonviolence after leaving the Aryan Brotherhood.

@@yunggzuz4787 I have never heard that before, and I read his book. But I’m not saying it’s not true. The execution of his crimes is what I think made it harm for him to be granted parole (one murder execution style and one via lethal overdose). He also was laughing and saying, “All lies.” during his trial, so I’m sure that left an impression with the governors who denied him parole (it was more than one).
Funny I mentioned this just a while ago! Vlad would like it, Rene would go into great detail about the American Me murders. I remember in the Black Hand, Rene even was trying to get a hold of Edward James Olmos over the phone in prison. Crazy book, but so damn good.

Enriquez and Thompson are basically the same. Both dropped out both spent years of their lives trying to be as eloquent as possible in order to live up to this whole “reformed criminal mastermind persona” I’m not trying to be all anti snitch bc in both their cases snitching was pretty much their only out and Enriquez to his credit has stated that he was gonna die.
