VCG Resins is as good as it gets! I've spent a ton of money at VCG the last couple years. JOSH does an outstanding job, Best inthe Business! If Josh has what you are looking for you won't be disappointed.
The engine kit looks absolutely wonderful us having the holes for the spark plug wires in the head is the distributor that definitely makes life easy 👍👍
Great looking parts from VCG! I have a 61 Impala in my stash I’ll have to get that 409 engine for it. I remember my Dad also told me about the valve covers of the 409 engine. Never forget it.. Al.
Yep VCG has cool stuff love the detail , The Jimmy is starting to come together with all the detail products going to look really nice .Happy 4th BG enjoy oh here 🍪🍪🍪🍪now happy 4th 🎆🎆🎆🎆
Awesome parts by VCG. I've been impressed by the level of detail of 3D printed parts by the various vendors. The carbs could be a manual choke and electric choke version and they could also be vacuum secondaries and manual secondaries. I grew up building cars and that manifold is called a dual quad by most races/muscle car guys. Very cool parts for that 409.
Hi Larry! Oh man, thanks for the info! Makes total sense now! I agree, the 3D printing world is getting better everyday! I am so glad that we just need a little cleanup and ready to go!
@@BGsModelWorkshop I agree, a little cleanup and the parts are ready to go. It also makes us use our modeling skills to ensure those parts work on the model that we use them on. We still have to make them fit.
Next time I biuld an Impala, I'll have to consider that 409. While I was watching, the British term of "pinging off" kept coming to mind, because for me, those tiny parts would go shooting out of the tweezers! lol
hi Bryan... i'm thinking the carb with the vacuum is for the secondary butterflies to open... very cool parts... being new to this community i am amazed at all the details you can get ,... thx 4 sharing.. vinny
Very nice products ! Having installed side steps on my wife's real Wrangler I like that they gave you the brackets to do it right instead of having to make your own or fudge it somehow. Are the throttle plates the same size on both carbs? The one with two sizes reminds me of a Quadrajet (?) If the other one has all four holes the same size I would guess a Carter? That engine is definitely better than any platic kit 409 I ever saw.👍
Hi Bruce! I bet you are right about those carbs!! Both plates did appear to be similar but that also maybe a print convenience. Thanks for checking out the video!☺️

HI Dave!! Oh my goodness you are so right!! I feel like the engine could be a model show entry all on its own! =)
just ordered my 409 weekend wrencher engine today !!! VCG Resins and Josh are the best !!!!!
Awesome!! They sure are some great guys!
Josh is very professional, and runs his business the way everyone should. He is a perfectionist and it shows in his work.
100% agreed!
The engine kit looks absolutely wonderful us having the holes for the spark plug wires in the head is the distributor that definitely makes life easy 👍👍
100% agree!! I have the hardest time trying to drill out the holes in box stock engines! This is a sweet alternative!!

Hi Al! Sounds like our dads were pretty cool! ☺️ This will look amazing in a 61!!
I've purchased a few VCG engines. They are very detailed and assemble well!. Excellent products!
Hi Johnny! Awesome!! I feel the same way. Hardly any clean up needed and ready to go!
What fantastic detail Bryan. I love the drilled distributer. Thanks for the show. Ron
You bet Ron! My pleasure! Agreed, I hate trying to drill out distributors. Too small and delicate.
Well Done My Friend!!
Thank you Matt!!! ☺️🙏
VCG makes some nice stuff. Thanks for sharing BG. 😃
Hi Jim! They certainly do! ☺️ Thanks for for watching!

Outstanding review. I will be pulling the trigger on a VCG resin engine.
Sweet!! Glad you liked it! 😁
Love 409s! Gotta get one or two!
Right!! Honestly, I can think of that engine without that song going through my head! 😁

Thanks Deen! LOL, I feel like the video deserves some cookies! TO THE PANTRY!!
Beautiful details at a reasonable price. FYI: the Chevy 348 C.I. engine also had the "W" heads.
Hi Rick! Oh really?! Dang! I need to remember that then! Thanks
Nice review on VCG resin's. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I've used a few of their products
Hi Chuck, thank you for checking out the video! Very glad to hear you like VCG's products!
That's a stunningly beautiful bit of engine!! 😁 Great showing, Bryan, hope y'all are enjoying a great Independence Day ✌️😊
Hi Steve!! It certainly is!
Well, we had a bit of excitement here with Mrs BG's dad. He is ok now but it was a bit scary.
@@BGsModelWorkshop sending kneemails (prayers), brother 🙏

Sweet! I really want to try to super detail an engine one of these days. I’ll have to look at VCG to see what else they offer. Peace and love.
Hi TJ! One of their engines is a great starting point for a highly detailed build! ☺️
Wanting to do another 62 Impala in gold w/ white interior. Think this 409 would make it pop. Great review as always!!
That sounds like it would be an epic build!! I love the idea of the color scheme!
Some cool parts and a great price I’ve bought some stuff from VCG I thought they were closed up I’ll have to look happy 4th bry bry
Hi buddy! Glad to hear that you have some of Josh's stuff! You enjoy the Holiday!

I'm really hoping to see a resin Olds 455 from them soon
Now that would be awesome!! ☺️
@@BGsModelWorkshop with as fast at their other Olds engines sell out, that should be a hint to them!
Very true!!
Impressive how you handled all those tiny parts. Guaranteed to lose a few.
Thank you! Yep, already spent time looking for that oil filter! 😁 I may lay down some double sided tape to catch the parts!
