    Loved the facial expression as it glided through your hair. 😂 I have the Felecia Leatherwood brush which has a similar design and my reaction was the same. Like “how is this working so well”? After all my other brushes went in the trash.

    I love love love watching your videos. The humour when you held up that paddle brush😭😂😂😂😂. I ENJOY watching your natural hair videos so much. Love that I've found a fine haired natural that I can relate with! ❤️
    Shocking. I saw the architecture 😅 of that brush and thought it would wreak havage to fine hair. Generally, I look at brushes with side eyes 😂😂
    Btw, Would you say your hair is medium density?

    In your opinion, do you think the paddle brush works better for a certain length of coily or curly hair?

    • @AfopeAtoyebi
      @AfopeAtoyebi  4 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      I think the paddle brush is better for shorter, finer, and thinner hair types. I feel like the EZ brush it GREAT, but it feels like overkill in a way for those hair types

    I want to try this brush but my hair is low density, prone to fairy knots, very fragile to tools. I tested all my brushes and combs in the past and all gave me a lot of breakage. So I finger detangle which I find causes less breakage.
    The EZ datangler, Felicia Leatherwood brush and Kazmaleje brush are all interesting products I wish someone with fine hair would review.

      @@teeeee9174 I actually finally found a tangle teezer for thin fine hair recently in Superdrug.
      The fine thin tangle teezer has much thinner bristle, I noticed It still has a little tension but dose rip my hair out, less damaging.
      As my hair keeps getting longer so do the knots. It really did cut my detangling time down to 25 minutes. Maybe the EZ detangler will introduce a brush for fine, thin low density hair in the future.

      @@Rita-23 I'll try this.. my mom washed it for me but now I'll have to try it.. I'm new to the natural scene. @@Jelly-hq7ug Great! I was "forced" to go natural. Heat damage broke off 1/3 of my hair. My stylist cut off 2/3 of what was left after the breakage. The sides and back of my hair was so short, it was a fade. I pray all goes well for you. 🙏🏽🙏🏽

    This was such a helpful video I was debating getting the Denman d38 power paddle brush. It's like the one you have but no little balls on the end ( they always get caught on my fine strands) and they instead use the white pins like the other denman you showed. Its $35 on Amazon and I also don't like when brushes retain water because I also use my brushes during the prepoo stage to remove shed hairs and during the moisturizing/styling portion to smooth and style my hair and the brush can get built up with conditioner and water. At this point I have tried almost every popular brush out there and currently use Kazmaleje Paddle Comb and Phillips Flexx Vented Beach And Shower Brush - A dupe of the Curl Keeper Flexy Brush - (I get mine from www.houseofbeautyworld.com) Like you I am looking for more coverage but less snagging and more thorough removal of my shed hairs. Hair stats: Kinky 4B/4C, fine strands, medium density, high porosity.
