You can buy the SYBR ready to go and load one microliter for every 10 mL of gel. With Edvotek kits there are dilution instructions in the manual and you did 1 microliter of the diluted SYBR for every 1 ml of gel.
It depends on the size of your tray. Most trays take either 30 ml or 60 ml so with small trays you could make 5 and with larger you could do two but double comb them to load two groups' samples per gel.
