They nailed the design on this one. Looks beautiful from every angle and looks timeless, like the DB9, DBS and previous Vantage and unlike the new Vantage. Don’t know why they couldn’t replicate such perfect, timeless design on the new production cars.
you guys can criticize all day long but i just appreciate that jay still makes time to produce these videos since he has a cable TV show as well now that he has shifted a lot of his time to, he could of put this car on that show instead and you guys would of had no car to bad mouth or criticize, its so easy to be a spectator in the stands criticizing than being a warrior in the arena.
That doesn't change a fact, that front lights are ugly.

nothing critical to say about the car. It's Jay Leno himself that I would criticize. Jay Leno constantly cut this guy off while he was mid-sentence talking in almost every sentence. Very unprofessional to invite a guest onto your show, and then talk right over him.

I have been a Aston fan since I was a small boy, now in my 50's, AM have done it again with DB10, Superb !
Little did we know that the DB10 is basically a mixture of the DB11 and the new Vantage..

The design is very timeless and the silver is so gorgeous
I'm totally impressed with the inclusion of the manual transmission.
I've never seen such a looking car before. The design is so modern, and yet so classical. The body is so simplistic, but yet so elegant.
That is quite literally the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.
It looks like a botched freak child between a Maserati Granturismo and a Jaguar F-Type, but fails to be as good as either.
@@yrooxrksvi7142 I don't really see how it resembles an F-Type. Plus, the Maserati GT came out after the Vantage, which is what this is based on. I don't see how this resembles either. I think it's one of the best looking cars to me. Anyway, your opinion is your opinion.
@@MNGLD-do2kc It has the exact same bloody body shape as the F-Type, from the lights down to the windows. No originality whatsoever. And I meant it as in the DB10 is shamelessly based on the GT.
It looks trite and unoriginal, no wonder it didn't go in full production. If it was so good, why was it so lightly (and badly) represented in the very movie it was designed for ?
@@yrooxrksvi7142 Well the F-Type was designed after aston adopted their general shape, so your point being? (Jaguar even used the same designer that designed the DB9, so if anything, they're the ones copying Aston).
Plus, just because the movie is bad doesn't mean the car is. Need for Speed showcase a Koenigsegg Agera R, does it mean the car's bad?
Plus, you're looking too much at the general shape. You have to focus on the details, like the little holes on the bonnet. And having the general shape is just Aston's design language. It lets you recognize that it's an Aston even from just a silhouette. The other companies copied Aston, so if it looks unoriginal, then it's not their fault.

I'm gonna say this car is better looking than the DB11 and is saddening the DB10 won't be a production car.
Yea, especially that interior, it's to die for. Much more timeless design, just like the DB9 :/ Aston needs to put a variation of this into production
Daniel Kemnitz indeed, what a futuristic interior and exterior, sleek, elegant and mean. A reserved yet violent look that tells you not to mess with the driver.
That combat aircraft interior that makes you feel that it will fire rockets if pressing a button, just a fantastic car.

I've been a Aston Martin fan since first seeing the DB5 in "Goldfinger" back when I was 6 years old. A doctor in my hometown owned a DB5 which looked exactly like 007's. Loved when he'd pull into the parking of the hardware I worked at. My favorite Aston Martin is the V-8 Vantage which to me was like a British muscle car. Thanks Jay!

+Mauricio Nuñez James Bond has only ever been issued one automatic car by MI6 in the entire series. Bond being the epitome of manliness, he probably specifically requests stick cars - and it tells the ladies that 007 knows how to use his stick.

I'm a huge Aston Martin fan as well as being a huge Bond film fan. Of course I've seen the movie Spectre and enjoyed the car in that. Its great to get some details as to how it was designed and made.

i think Aston hit a home run with the design. The holes on the hood not do much. But everything else is spot on. Plus I'm a 007 junkie. I also love the wide body. I'd kill to drive one. Great job and great show Jay.

Great job Leno on the presentation-- your love for these cars def comes accrosS! I think the word for our love for these cars is the word "timeless" since their cards really look great and attract a lot of attention regardless which year it was made. the guy was right, its the one car (and some porches (here comes a flame war) that you can rely on becoming an investmentover time.

Marek Reichman and Adrian Newey are my heroes. They are both best in the world, period. Newey is currently the chief technical officer of the Red Bull Racing Formula One team with a ton of successful designs behind him.
Aston's designs are as much art as they are function. It is a tribute to Marek that he can take the form/function aspects of his designs and render them in such beautiful form. They are true art. His kids are right.
God if they make this instead of db11 , this would be a good selling car

Am I insane for thinking the DB9 is more handsome and the Vanquish more striking than this? I'd honestly still prefer either. That being said I LOVE the DB9 so liking this more was going to be hard for me.

I love the DB9 / DBS / Vantage shape but my dream is Vanquish because the others lack excitement :) -Do you hate the square steering wheel too? Why would any idiot think of that?
+diego04CR No, in fact (yes, thats right, FACT) the DB9 2004 model is the most BEAUTIFUL CAR EVER MADE! You have refined taste, sir, kudos. You're ANYTHING but insane. And the Vanquish is classier as well. This has just too narrow headlamps so it looks a bit like a frog, not a proper Aston.
