I decided to put myself on a strict budget for 6 months. I have so much in my pantry, items I just do not get around to - so I am working on using what I have
I'm gearing up for a pantry challenge because I have way too much and need to clean everything out so I know what not to buy anymore. For Christmas Eve, we're going to my in laws for Prime Rib. We actually bought a whole prime rib roast as our Christmas gift to his family. Then tomorrow morning my in laws are doing breakfast. Then we're going to my aunt's home with my mom for Christmad dinner.
@@micahmiller5923 prime rib is delicious. What a wonderful gift! I’m about to take everything out of my freezers and clean them completely & organize again. It’s long overdue!
I started a pantry challenge in december. My total grocery cost was like 208$. Milk, buns, produce, butter was on sale 2.99 so got 10lbs, some lunchmeats and chips for hubby lunches. I buy organic veggies and fruit so that cost higher. Plan on continuing through jan? But i allow grace for good sales, or coupons.
My partners parents ended up having to spend over $100 for thanksgiving dinner, they only had to buy the rolls for Christmas dinner. I got a free ham with grocery points, and had every other ingredient we needed. Very excited to use up things from my pantry for the next 2 months at least. Funny how it can sometimes get so out of hand out of nowhere!

I always let the kids have a little party then I will wake them to watch the ball drop. Also I teach them about goals and how to make and keep them.

I watching you go through your pantry & freezers. I need to do that too. I won’t need to buy anything except dairy & produce. For about 4 months!😊
