    New friend here. All you home-canned foods look amazing. The January pantry challenge is wonderful in so many ways, but especially because it brings such a sense of community to YT. I'm on my third year of the challenge, and will try to make it through January with zero grocery spending. I just realized today I'm almost out of garlic, so that is going to be tough.

    Hey it’s Meagan, glad to hear you hunt too! I went to school for wildlife management that closely followed animal science. So hello fellow animal nerd!!

    Hello Beth, thanks for sharing your many awesome talents with us. I’m impressed with all of your canned goods, it’s a ton of work to can food items. The pepper steak sandwiches looked so good. I’m doing my own version of a pantry challenge. I will be taking an inventory of my big freezer to be sure nothing goes to waste. And I’m determined to use up my home canned items to be ready to can more next summer. ❤❤

      I got those curtains off of Amazon. I love them too. They’re super cute. I got them for my farmhouse theme in my kitchen.🥰

    I like ricotta cheese 🧀
    Like you use.
    A lot of people use cottage cheese. But the true Italian way is ricotta. 😊

    How long does the canned whole milk lasts?

      @ThePeacockHomestead  วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      I’ve used cans that were up to a year old here, but it’s supposed to last for five years.
