I grew up in Montreal, but my Mom's uncle lived in Toronto, on Boon Avenue...I remember spending summers at my uncles home with my family, I could relate..folks on Boon Street were much more friendly people than Montrealers !!!!....

I was sitting at the end of a bar in victoria, jan 1st 2000..kiefer walked in by himself. Ordered a double glen fiddich on ice..downed it by himself. Then went out for a cigarrette. I bumped into him in the late 80s when he was filming renegades...had a sandwhich in his mouth..i learned much later i went to crescent town school with him..but didnt learn until much later..maybe i will bump into him again..but in the uk

I’ve always liked him … what makes him truly Canadian is that he won’t be pushed around, sticks to his guns and I like that. I drink my whisky straight as well so you know it has to be good only a good whisky can be consumed straight. One other fantastic whisky is Wayne Gretzky’s #99 whisky it is soooo smoooth that you’ll love it straight No Ice ! , It’s made in Ontario and aged in oak caskets that were used for Sherry aging - so you get a hint of color and flavor out of that as well. I have no affiliation with #99 whisky it’s just that it’s REALLY THAT GOOD .
There’s very few that do not have that over spiced recipe like Crown Royal “Can’t Stand that Stuff” - so it’s much more pure tasting. Buy it, Love It , thank me latter 🙂
