Being a Doctor myself, i can say this video contains everything that a medical personnel and general population needs to know about this integration of medicinal practice, thanks for highlighting this issue, Doctors in India has to go through a lot during his/her training and practice, still the protest among doctors are limited to issues like "Mixopathy", "violence on doctors" etc and they rarely appear in news. A big thanks for this video.
As a doctor , thank you Akash sir for highlighting this topic , as this topic was somewhere missing in mainstream media , sir the main problem in this bill is those doctors who have never studied the subject pharmacology, anaesthesia, which are modern allopathic subjects , will be given directly live patients to do experiment on, and offcourse no rich people or politicians will ever get treatment from them , they will always practice on poor people who even don't know basic difference of MBBS, bams and bhms doctors and what these doctors supposed to prescribe in India, India is going through a tough situation in medicine which is called as bacterial resistance, which has been become very common in In India , this has become a problem for a treating physician, this problem has occurred due to uncontrolled use of antibiotics by bams and bhms doctors without the license of allopathic medicine, I am not opposed of our great Ayurvedic science, but it doesn't mean we will ruin ayureveda by allowing mixopathy. Ayureveda has separate mechanism of actions which only bams Ayurvedic Doctors are experienced about.
Traditional medicine and training under government if taken serious it can do wonders but there is an inherent jealousy between the two however if the traditional medicine use correct ingredients it will be useful less costly with no side effects and of great value for people. Sadly , civil servants aren't given the respect they require, they have to pass the toughest exam in the world. First prelims, then csat, then 4 gs papers, then 1 hindi paper, 1 English paper, then essay paper, then 2 optional papers, then interview, then physical test, then 1 year of rigourous training. Then you finally get to become a civil servant. And the highest post an ias officer gets is cabinet secretary. The salary of cabinet secretary is 2.5 lakh rupees. The salary of an mp is also 2.5 lakh rupees. Matlab itni padhai karo, sab laws prepare karo aur phir aapki salary aur mp ki salary same ho. Matlab hypocrisy ki bhi seema hoti hai.

It's so hard to get into a government medical college, we spend years to prepare for the entrance. Just entry into MBBS doesn't end this, passing MBBS will give you so many nervous breakdowns. Then, we have a government which gives back door entry to students who had far less marks than us. The irony is an MBBS doctor will again need to clear a difficult entrance of pg to be able to do surgery and AYUSH practitioners will just do a bridge course to be practicing the same. I am a physician. I do not hate ayurveda. I do not have a problem with patients choosing ayurveda. I do not refuse treatment if the ayurveda treatment has failed. I have a problem with the fact that the patient continues to argue with me about its benefits while wanting allopathic treatment after ayurveda/unani has failed. I have a problem with the fact that in case there is a deterioration in the condition of the patient during AYUSH treatment, the treating doctor does not take responsibility and the patient does not even question him but harass the allopathic doctor to whom they go to. Allopathic doctors do not know how ayurveda is supposed to work nor the contents in those medicines. Then, how are we responsible for what happens and how are we to know how to treat the effects? How can we even diagnose the condition as a side effect when Ayurveda stream denies that there medicines have any side effect at all? Ayurveda drug manufacture is not standardised nor regulated nor quality checked. Many ayurvedic preparations are home made by people who do not have standardised training but do it just as a matter of hobby. You cannot call treating sick patients a hobby like stamp collection. You are risking their lives. Patients continue to bring ads & pamphlets to allopathic doctors asking their opinion about some ad on ayurvedic medicine. Why do they do that if there is a standard to it? Why don't they ask other ayurvedic physicians. There are more ayurvedic physicians in India than allopathic if you include unlicensed & unqualified.

Being a doctor and having served in rural areas, i can tell you why we run away from it. We go to those areas with hopes and dreams to serve the poor, and in return we live in pathetic conditions where we don't have basic amenities,i am talking about electricity and water, basic drugs ,basic equipments and we remain unpaid for 6-12 months, we are exploited by the clerical staff for issuing our salary on time, they don't do anything without bribes and eventually we give up on the idea of serving the humanity and we run for our lives. We too have families to feed.

Very few allopathic doctors are ready to serve in remote and rural areas,someone( technical person) has to fill that gap and that gap is filled by bridge course but after that course, they appoint ayurvedic doctor as mid level health provider in respective sub center/ PHC but not as doctor. Our health care system is ineffective and ineffective with low financial budgets. So, one thing i remind my fellow indians that beggars cannot be chooser... Being a Doctor myself, i can say this video contains everything that a medical personnel and general population needs to know about this integration of medicinal practice, thanks for highlighting this issue, Doctors in India has to go through a lot during his/her training and practice, still the protest among doctors are limited to issues like "Mixopathy", "violence on doctors" etc and they rarely appear in news. As a doctor , thank you Akash sir for highlighting this topic , as this topic was somewhere missing in mainstream media , sir the main problem in this bill is those doctors who have never studied the subject pharmacology, anaesthesia, which are modern allopathic subjects , will be given directly live patients to do experiment on, and offcourse no rich people or politicians will ever get treatment from them , they will always practice on poor people who even don't know basic difference of MBBS, bams and bhms doctors and what these doctors supposed to prescribe in India, India is going through a tough situation in medicine which is called as bacterial resistance, which has been become very common in In India , this has become a problem for a treating physician, this problem has occurred due to uncontrolled use of antibiotics by bams and bhms doctors without the license of allopathic medicine, I am not opposed of our great Ayurvedic science, but it doesn't mean we will ruin ayureveda by allowing mixopathy. Ayureveda has separate mechanism of actions which only bams Ayurvedic Doctors are experienced about.

First prelims, then csat, then 4 gs papers, then 1 hindi paper, 1 English paper, then essay paper, then 2 optional papers, then interview, then physical test, then 1 year of rigourous training. Then you finally get to become a civil servant. And the highest post an ias officer gets is cabinet secretary. The salary of cabinet secretary is 2.5 lakh rupees. The salary of an mp is also 2.5 lakh rupees. Matlab itni padhai karo, sab laws prepare karo aur phir aapki salary aur mp ki salary same ho. Matlab hypocrisy ki bhi seema hoti hai.

It's so hard to get into a government medical college, we spend years to prepare for the entrance. Just entry into MBBS doesn't end this, passing MBBS will give you so many nervous breakdowns. Then, we have a government which gives back door entry to students who had far less marks than us. The irony is an MBBS doctor will again need to clear a difficult entrance of pg to be able to do surgery and AYUSH practitioners will just do a bridge course to be practicing the same. We have seen many cases where patients came in terminal stage of cancer becoz they were taking some alternative medicine treatment. The father of surgery, susrutha, was an Ayurveda practitioner, but, it’s not suitable in this way. If the country experiences shortage of surgeons, it’s more appropriate and better if they let the nurses with degree to perform surgery after completing a masters in surgery. I am a physician. I do not hate ayurveda. I do not have a problem with patients choosing ayurveda. I do not refuse treatment if the ayurveda treatment has failed.
I have a problem with the fact that the patient continues to argue with me about its benefits while wanting allopathic treatment after ayurveda/unani has failed. I have a problem with the fact that in case there is a deterioration in the condition of the patient during AYUSH treatment, the treating doctor does not take responsibility and the patient does not even question him but harass the allopathic doctor to whom they go to.
Allopathic doctors do not know how ayurveda is supposed to work nor the contents in those medicines. Then, how are we responsible for what happens and how are we to know how to treat the effects? How can we even diagnose the condition as a side effect when Ayurveda stream denies that there medicines have any side effect at all?
Ayurveda drug manufacture is not standardised nor regulated nor quality checked. Many ayurvedic preparations are home made by people who do not have standardised training but do it just as a matter of hobby. You cannot call treating sick patients a hobby like stamp collection. You are risking their lives.
Patients continue to bring ads & pamphlets to allopathic doctors asking their opinion about some ad on ayurvedic medicine. Why do they do that if there is a standard to it? Why don't they ask other ayurvedic physicians. There are more ayurvedic physicians in India than allopathic if you include unlicensed & unqualified.
Finally some one spoke.. Being a modern medicine doctor... It pains me that govt is playing with lifes of pts..

So why not a BAMS will not able to perform a non critical surgery we just need to support them, not treat them as inferior just because of a neet score.

Being a doctor and having served in rural areas, i can tell you why we run away from it. We go to those areas with hopes and dreams to serve the poor, and in return we live in pathetic conditions where we don't have basic amenities,i am talking about electricity and water, basic drugs ,basic equipments and we remain unpaid for 6-12 months, we are exploited by the clerical staff for issuing our salary on time, they don't do anything without bribes and eventually we give up on the idea of serving the humanity and we run for our lives. We too have families to feed.

Very few allopathic doctors are ready to serve in remote and rural areas,someone( technical person) has to fill that gap and that gap is filled by bridge course but after that course, they appoint ayurvedic doctor as mid level health provider in respective sub center/ PHC but not as doctor. Our health care system is ineffective and ineffective with low financial budgets. So, one thing i remind my fellow indians that beggars cannot be chooser... So, using both pathy( not mixing both)is future of health care in india with such low budget. Thanks akash for bringing such topic to light.
