haha, yeah, after each long run nowadays I tend to relax and ventillate a bit with some physics only or wandless run attempts, until I die enough times and relax by doing regular runs. and the cycle continues 😄
as I experienced if the turret receives a "high enough" damage tick, then there is a chance for it to flip 180. I suspect there may be a lower threshold, then a chance.
A tip for metal walls - Concentrated Mana potions will dissolve metal material
and metallic enemies!

Is there a consistent way to make the stationary ones 180? They will sometimes switch directions if you kick them I've noticed.
