We were involved in an awful mass shooting but we didn’t see anything, didn’t hear anything and don’t have anything to say even though everyone at the party had at least one phone.
With that said, this was just another gang hit by people who don’t fear being apprehended and convicted.
The honorable Mayor and his cronies are part of the problem. The police do their job of apprehending thugs but the justice system always finds away to release the demons.
These cities in the South (Memphis, Jackson, New Orleans, Birmingham, Mobile, St. Louis, Atlanta),made a huge turned for the worst after integration when we were left to govern our own people. Too many broken families living on government handouts where 70% of the kids are raised in gang and crime filled environments by single mothers who either don’t know how to help their kids or don’t care enough to help them but as a race we are in a tremendous decline.
I wonder why there are never any comments from black influencers when there are awful tragedies in our communities.
No reporter asked Prime, Lebron, TI, Meek Mill, BLM or even Diddy what can be done to curtail crime and improve the lives of their people.
Black trauma is real because generations of our people have been traumatized by violence and death but by the hands of our own people.
Violence in black communities is real and very similar to the violence we see in the Caribbean, and across the entire continent of Africa. I wonder what is the one common variable.
