Wouldnt it make sense to be able to walk freely around on your boat so that way you could put all 6 rods in rather than just 2 at a time, it dosent make sense that you can only troll with 2 rods at a time
I mean you’d be missing fish irl. U can’t get 6 lines at once when they all start hitting
Yes chef boyard is right I fish irl too for tuna marlin anything that swims lol and if ur one Person tryna fish 6 rods is hard
I think it just comes down to what the devs were able to do to make sure that all people on the boat were able to travel on the boat at the same time, by locking their position on a moving vehicle.
@@kxrobbie well thats where the other people come in, if people were able to share rods then you could have 3p ople with 6 rods.
@@Goose_Woosie Yh ik thats different tho with multiple people it easy u might miss a fish here and there but u have a higher chance of catching fish if there’s more people with 6 rods
Heard that they took out free night skipping. That alone is going to make the grind 100x harder and longer. That is going to kill the game

I hope they dont add this update to xbox. from what ive seen its awful. fish from congo give less xp, the rental boat can barely hold a trophy tuna, the fish give way too little xp, there is a nighttime cooldown. i hope they fix it.
I really dont think its going give less xp, its just depends on what you use. I might be wrong because am not in the congo yet and on console
@@MarcoIzFishin ive seen people catch unique marlin and tuna and getting only 48 thousand xp. the rods they were using were not overpowered for those fish. 48 thousand xp is the same amount of xp you get from a 70 lb carp. the xp from the tuna and marlin should not be that low.
oh, thats actually a very stupid change from they to make, and boat thing is also very bad too, maybe they have boat that can keep a unique tuna/grouper, the nighttime has been changed luckly
@@MarcoIzFishin yes during their last update they "accidentally" made the nighttime baitcoin paid, but they changed it back like they did with this update. also yes i agree and while you can upgrade the storage on the rental boat via missions its still stupid to have it that low.
Whoever is responsible for maintaining the rental boat needs to be fired. That window is filthy. 😂
bo , now fishing planet added that new animation to the rods , and that changed with it the stergen hunting from the cayak sooo much do you have a solution cuz i am stuck in lvl36

One observation the XP per fish fight is terrible. 10 min fight for 15K XP. Yeesh
Man this hotspot rocks caught a 362lbs unique big eye tuna after 3 casts hope to get bigger from here

Definitely a fantastic spot caught a couple uni marlin and a 266.54 dogtooth tuna uni I hardly have to move before I have another fish on.

I love the grinding getting less XP building the bank slower and enjoying at a slower pace, ppl just be hitting XP and levels to get there and I understand that but going there slower makes you enjoy the game longer and learn more while going...
So Iv played the game sense 2019 but forgot abt it and quick and now starting to play it again in 2024 game is amazing and do u guys think they’ll continue to update this game for a long time are what
@Bo Angles wouldn't it be better to just stop the boat and not anchor it that way you'll drift towards the fish as you're reeling it in?

I love this map and i know its early days but i would love to see different types of marlin either on this map or another pacific ocean map seeing as they allready have the ground works for another map like this maybe a south island new Zealand map or somewhere along our coast nice big blue marlin black marlin couple blue nose here and there and even giant japanese amberjack or kingfish as we call them. So cool to be fishing so close to my home though very happy

if you are on console normally it takes 1-3 weeks longer to release than steam. 8 gigabytes to update
Thats what i was thinking you should be able to use your rods to catch the reef fish and be able to throw out a lure for the snapper n stuff

Do you have to purchase the boat or is it free
The boat he is using is $60 there's a cheaper one for $40 but it's not as fast and you can't have as many people on your boat the fish live well isn't as big either and I believe the "free" one which you can rent with in game money and the $40 one you won't even be able to keep the biggest fish cause the live well max size isn't big enough so this new ocean map is almost an exclusive pay to win which really stinks!

You can buy premium for like 2 or 3 days for like $3 which will help you level up faster
Too bad nobody can fish there cause its level 80 and not everyone has time to grind to level 80
That’s why I stopped playing the game around level 59 ish. Rather play the angler or Russian fishing 4 because, for me, they are chill games

Hello am starting again this game at lv 46. I was wondering what level can I access this new location or do I have to buy dlc to have access for it. The beginner series carried me last year keep the videos coming 💪

Yea so for grinding way sturgeon all the way to 54. To get blue crab then farm at blue crab. I target the tarpon but there's more there to catch but the sturgeon can get you to 60
@@sharkd3stroy3r29 i would reccomend stopping the sturgeon grind at level 48 and grinding taimen and weeping until level 63. avoid blue crab.

when you cast simply dont hit anything it leaves the reel “open” so line can freely move and reel a little to lock it back i think it was added in the update?

Well you could use normal spinning but the freshwater gear aint that strong and the ocean gear since it's saltwater gear the rods are much stronger but also much shorter so you can't cast very far, it's made for trolling

Would it be worth buying the dlc if I’m level 40? The grind is unbearable now I thought it was hard before now it’s just unplayable. I wouldn’t mind getting the ocean dlc if I knew I could make lvl 83 in that amount of time for it to stay unlocked for me
I would say so I’m lvl 45 and I’m planning on buying it to level up quickly
sad part, your game was modded by FP. the amount of fish isnt seen in regular game for players. Sad this happened, i enjoyed your vids on where and how to catch fish for earlier FP and Angler. Good on you though for being fully sponsored by FP. You deserve it.
I’ve explained this a few times on different comments but I guess I should have explained it in the videos- these first 3 videos on the map were during early access. They provided us with press accounts with pretty much every dlc in the game and nearly limitless money to try out whatever we wanted.
