Hi dear kanwal your TH-cam channel is growing fast ma Sha Allah..which is great... I have one complaint I don't know whether you will consider it or not but still I didn't know on which medium I should apraoch you and let you know about this matter... Few days back I joined your page soul sisters and I was so happy to be a part of that group... I participated too by sharing thoughts and giving best advices as much as I could... Then one day... Someone posted... Anonymous post but didn't hide the ID of that person I just noticed and shared my thoughts in comments that not to share the ID of the person if specially someone requested not to show it... And Danggg... Next day your admin or you I don't know removed me from the group... Now I never want to join that group.. Because I felt really bad for the act which was truly justified but still got removed from the group... Just one thing I want to share always use your powers for the justice not to defend yourself even for wrong reasons... That's it..

i am a victim of cyber harrasment too. but my family was so supporting in those hard times. they did not doubt on me Alhamdulillah. and my father took a strict action towards that guy.

Same thing happened with me. One of my jealous friend gave my number to a lot of boys. Random dirty msgs through out the night. I tried to handle it by myself. Didn't work out. Told my mom. She didn't believe me. My sisters provoked her to stop me from going to university. Spent 4 years like hell during my graduation. I used to pray very hard to get my honor back in front of my family. Ultimately Allah gave me my grace back a year ago.

@Mahnoor Awan what my friend did to me I accepted it as a fate. But my own sister who was 11 month younger than me made my life hell by making my parents believe that I've become a slut. I didn't believe at first that my sister did this. But, even Quran teaches us to ask Allah's shelter from hasids. I swore to Quran multiple times to prove my innocence. But she convinced everyone at home that I took false oaths. Neither did she respect our relationship as sisters nor the Quran. I'm at peace now but I wonder when Allah will make her go through mukafat e aml.

Agreed parents should have an open friendly relationship with their children so that the child can communicate with them. Amazing episode.
2 years ago my best friend did the same to me , she made a fake id with fake name and put my pictures there to talk to other men . I caught her but she beg for forgiveness so I didn't told my parents she deleted everything and after that day I didn't contact her . This incident made me so frightened that I don't make friends now I literally have trust issues.
I think you should've had told your parents, because you never know if she will do that again to you or even maybe to someone else.

She's speaking so fast you can see how scared she is. She probably just wants the interview to end as fast as it can. It must be such a scary thing to go through and recollect and narrate the whole thing.

I am 17 years old and also a victim of cyber harrasment twice in my life! And i know how it feels to be cyberlly harrassed ! 😔 And i didn't find solution yet ! These type of issues can't be share with anyone because people can"t understand .

First of all i don't know who is the person behind all this ..and i don't doubt any specific person and i share this matter with my parents and family but in the end all they can do is to support me .. they can't do anything like me ! I have been experiencing this from 2016 and now i am so tired ! After every year i got an issue in my social media Id and i make a new accouny but now i am sick of all this
I am a college going student and don't have any personal issues with anyone i don't remember if i have done anything bad to anyone .. whenever i make any new Id wheter its instagram or facebook i started to receive unknown messages and when i ignore them someone starts texting messages from my Id and i became so surprised that how they get my password everytim
Dw girl!!! There are ways u can protect ur accounts so that if someone else tries to open your account somewhere else , you'll be notified. Insta, fb, gmail these apps have two way verification.
This situation could've been handled very easily... But her parents made it worse. They're the ones that didnt give their child a safe space and she ended up getting depressed. When will this kind of toxic parenting stop?

It's extremely important for a child to have a cordial relationship with his or her parents and I believe that parents should give a sense of confidence to their children from their side, so that when a child shares something with them, they DO NOT blame the child for it ( "Tum ne hi kuch kiya hoga" ). It takes a lot of courage for a child to share what has happened. Listening is as important as taking an action.
I'm blessed to have a mother with whom I can speak my heart out! Thank you for sharing this, this makes me appreciate my mother even more.
There's a reason why I dislike taking pics with friends, but people don't understand and think that it's conservative. Even in European countries they don't just take pic of anyone in wedding ceremonies, they have privacy things as societies there know about identity theft and so on. But in Asia specially Indo-Pak, mostly people are illiterate to even understand how dangerous and serious identity theft can be.

It has nothing to do with word (or educational) illiteracy! It has to do with CYBER literacy.
2. MENTAL BLOCKAGE OF TECH:
And sometimes, even when you become very educated; you face mental blockage to use basic computer; hindering you to be skilful of CYBER protectivity or privacy management; and also managing your informal flow of information from medical and educational INDUSTRY.
It happens because from childhood, we (some of us) are taught to keep away from computer or technology.
Soul sister wouldn't have taken place; if all of us were wary of conservatism and protecting our identity.
3. INTERNET BLESSING:
Internet is a blessing for human kinds, just like SCHOOLS are blessings for GIRLS (and boys).
O God. Same story. I was bullied by my room mate and her boy friend. It all started with msgs and pics. He kneq each and every detail of my family. I was living in hostel and i cannot even travel alone. He sent inappropriate messages to my friends and everyone. I almost became pyscho and swear panic attacks. But my family supported me. For almost a year i never go out. I did not travel alone. And quit every social media platform. In this kind of crisis. Family should trust children.cyber harrasment is real.and it can ruin lives of people. Allhmdulilah almighty saved us. He is the greatest.

I had got cheated and was taken 50k as I trusted that person in name of giving job, later he started talking very rudely with me and started blackmailing me for no reason and I took help of cyber crime and got my money back.
It's soo soo important. Generation gap. Shama said right generation gap ki wajah say koi open hi nahi ho pata Apne parents ya siblings k Saath. And that cyber harassment is soo disgusting. Mental health kharaab ho jati hai issay logon ki. Allah talah hadayat day logon ko hasad may aisi aisi harkaten kardetay hain log. Agreed, it ended on the note of self harm and the rock bottom but misses out the rising.
It also misses out on what happened to the guy who was after her, and how did they finally stop him. And who conducted the investigation on that fake id

If she was 16 her parents wasn't they had to take a strict legal action against that girl, how can be they left her without taughting her wht she did.
And parents should also provide a positive nd friendly environment to their children so tht they can share whatever they want to without being Hesitant.

First , youth shud be educated about ciber world. Yes I agree open relationship with parents important for any issue in life. A daughter’s best friend shud be her mother.
The fact that she is the same age as my younger cousin sister just chills me to the core.
Truly we need to spread awareness about this and develop strong, healthy and trusting relationships among young and old, her family was at least educated enough warna baaz logon ke ek generation pehle wale logon ko toh ye sb sanajh bhi nahi aata, they just end up blaming the children/victim.

I agree court case and all is too much not at 16 but at any age but family ko involve karte to acha hota future mai kisi aur ke sath ye nahi hota (I hope they have done that already)

I kinda had a similar story my class mate who was my frnd for last 7 year tried to cyber harass me.. since then we stopped talking... we cant trust our friends as well
a girl had hacked my 5 accounts and created my fake profile. She just suspected me of dating or whatever her boyfriend
her boyfriend was the one who had been harassing me by random late night call. I was totally numb. noone tells us what to do and these people get away so easily..with zero conscience

I once volunteered for a charity in PK. I was helping two employees setup a blog and learn how to use excel. Both these guys were graduate and I saw both sending friends requests on FB to girls they did not know.

Listening her was so informative. Everyone of us must have a PLAN for how to counter-act if such incident happens with us or with our siblings/acquaintance (God Forbid). Good to see her parents believed her but complete silent response from her family members was still NOT OK. Victim is already collapsed in such a situation, our any move may become his/her reason of death.

Parents should listen and take notes. You are supposed to trust your kid. Don't jump to conclusions. You should be the only person standing by them if the whole world is against them. And if your kid thinks that you are not good enough when it comes to share their problems then believe me you have failed as a parent.
My father told me once I was 14 years old that if someone tries to bother you...come straight to me...I will handle everything for you. This made me brave and strong and he proved what he said. I am mother now...I have my own kids and this is the type of confidence I want to instil in my kids. Insha Allah

I blame the society, no matter what happens they blame and indirectly punish the girl. That makes it difficult for them , there isn’t any escape from the stress. Bad name lurks with them, first of all give them power and stop making getting married an epitome of life. Show them other paths of life, career education and traveling. One mishap in life is not the end of life. Stop attaching all your shame and respect with girls.let them live.
Additionally, openly talk to your kids about dangers of society and its consequences.
Not only cyber but everywhere, tell them results of their bad actions against someone as well . How it can impact others and ruin their lives and can bring bad things back to them as well.
Do not shy away or bring shame in between when talking about sex, harassment, crime or marriage issues. Stand with your child tell them you will never leave them alone and will do anything to defend them.
