Our Tour of the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History | The Real Hope Diamond

In today's video, we wanted to show a full tour of the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History in Washington DC. This Smithsonian Museum is one of many and it is free! The Smithsonian Museums are very large and takes multiple hours to tour them. There is so much history and information and a lot of historical objects. The Natural History Museum shows so many fossils and you also get to see The Hope Diamond. It is pretty unreal to be in the presence of some of these objects. We would highly recommend carving out time to go to the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History! If you are looking for free things to do in Washington DC or free museums in Washington DC, we would highly recommend the Smithsonian Museums.

Tourist trap. There never is parking available. Those exhibit displays have been there for generations. If you go visit, make reservations ahead and make sure your hotel acommodations include transportation to the mall. If you are military, Navy Lodge is always a better choice than Air Force lodging, who never have any rooms available unless you are a flag officer or SES.

Thanks for the info! We actually took the metro and it took us right there so that was good. Also, we did not need any reservations for the museum. You can enter during normal business hours.
