Oooh great options! New Look with that lovely fabric. I actually have some of that same fabric from BTPD and it's been sitting waiting for ages as I wasn't sure what to do with it, but you have given me great inspiration, so thank you Michelle 🎉 So looking forward to seeing whichever blouse you make 😊 Lisa x 🇦🇺
Aaahh your plans are lovely - and all of the fabrics are beautiful- especially the first lace detail one - the colours are gorgeous. Thanks so much for the mention - I was the same, just did not like the Marnie - but so glad I gave it a go as I love it now. Can’t wait to see which one you choose ❤❤❤
Three good options here! I guess I'd go for the Norma blouse for spring, and then sewing up the Marnie for the autumn in stead. :) I'm thinking about taking part in the challenge, too. Can't wait to see what everybody is going to make.
Ok, so I love all the fabrics and the blouses that you chose to go with them. I just can’t pick! 😂. I would just start prattling on about each one and yep not going down that rabbit hole (no pun intended) 😅. Can’t wait to see which one you make. ❤
I’d make all 3, since you love them and have the patterns and fabrics! They are all gorgeous! Funny about the Marnie, I didn’t like it at first but I’ve just bought the pattern!
Hi, I love watching your channel and think all of your blouse choices will look fabulous. I am very much drawn to the New Look blouse with the frill on the sleeve. The scalloped edge of the fabric chosen will give the blouse such a unique look - I think if it is just on the sleeve (due to fabric restraints) that will look perfectly fine. I am looking forward to seeing that sewn up. Happy sewing 🌸
All 3 fabric/blouse combinations are fabulous but my favourite is the purple/ new look. Obviously it’s your decision 😂. Thanks for sharing Michelle and have a lovely holiday. 💙🧶🌈🍓
Lovely patterns Michelle. The first with the lacy detail will be lovely and the fibre mood one in that fabric will be gorgeous. I have always been in the not keen on the marnie camp but the plainer one without all the frills looks really nice. I love the bunny fabric but I am really drawn to the fibre mood pattern in that gorgeous fabric xx
The first fabric you showed is so incredibly beautiful!!! The colors are just perfect! The scalloped edge is so unique to have found. Honestly, I can't wait to see you sew all three!! They're all going to be amazing! Iam participating in the challenge for the first time this year. I've made a blouse from the Big Four, and hope to make a second before the month is over. Have a fun vacation!
Great plans, Michelle. I love the idea for a new look blouse. If you don't have enough fabric to do trim all around, maybe sleeves and front and back with normal hem?
Hope you have a lovely holiday. I think all of those blouses look great and will be really good additions to your wardrobe. I would love to see you make the Norma first as that's the next top I plan to make and it would be great to see how you get on with it. 😊
Imho the 1st option is best. That fabric was made for that new look pattern, i think. But i like all of your ideas and am looking forward to seeing whatever you decide to do. Much love to u and the kitties from upstate New York❤❤❤
Hi michelle, all your choices of patterns and fabrics are lovely but if you don't have much time then the Norma blouse might not be the one. I certainly had a few fit issues and it took me 2 toiles to get it right and much longer than I anticipated.
I have fit issues as well with the Norma. Haven’t found the courage to adjust the pattern 😅 I found the back neck is to wide and the shoulders slide of. But overall it is a pretty pattern!
The bunny marnie will be fab, all I would say is maybe consider a size smaller than you think you would want as it’s super oversize and I think most people size down quite a lot 😊
I am @hoppaheedahoe and I will post my make soon. I made the Anna Allen Anthea blouse with a white decorative cotton with silver lurex thread in the design. I made silver button holes! I love the blouse. I don’t wear blouses but now I need to make some pants and skirts to wear my blouse. I have a few more planned. I love all your choices, but the cat fabric is the best! I love cats too. We have a tortishell named Charlotte.
WARNING! I made a toile of The Norma and glad I did. The top across the bust was fine but too snug at the hem. It seems I'm not the only one, as I checked later. If measuring the pattern indicates you'll have the same issue, you can either follow Lauren at Guthrie and Ghani and put a pleat in the back, or do as I did and just flared the pattern below the armhole. It is a beautiful pattern.
Love your ideas. That fabric with the scalloped edge will make a terrific blouse..enjoy the process.
I like all 3 ideas, but I absolutely love the first fabric.
My favorite is The New Look pattern and embroidery fabric. Fabric is so unique and beautiful.
I love the purple woth the lace
That is beautiful!!!
Love the Norma blouse. Have a lovely holiday, somewhere nice and warm I hope xx
A bunny blouse sounds unexpected fun as a Marnie. Go for it! Have a relaxing rejuvenating holiday

Ooooo hard choice! You will have to eventually make them all 💞💞💞

Thank you so much! I can’t wait to do the Marnie x

All great options, but that fabric for the Norma blouse!!! 😍 obsessed!
New look frill sleeves every time ❤
The Norma blouse has been on my list for a few years too. Never got around to making it but I certainly should.

It’s just got to be a bunny Marnie!! 🐾🐾

Beautiful choices! I love the lace fabric for the New Look pattern.
Thank you 😁

Great idea!! 🩷
Like all the fabrics but like the 1st fabric and pattern the best.
I think the new look fabric is lovely.

I like all the fabrics & patterns, but my favourite was the first one you mentioned. Look forward to seeing them all made up. Have a great holiday.😊
I like the new look in the purple fabric. xxxx
Thank you x
Norma blouse ❤❤❤❤
Personally, the second idea would be my pick
Wow I love the lace detail fabric. Could you maybe add a similar lace to the hem? Fab choices for sewapril blouse ❤
Have a lovely holiday! Thank you for sharing. Your friend Diane ❤
Thank you so much Diane x
Great vlog as always love the look of the Fibre Mood Norma blouse ❤
Thank you! 😊

Thank you! 😊
The Norma in the floral is #1 and the Marni in the bunny fabric is #2 because I think you will get more wear out if a floral top.
Bunny and the Marnie 😊 X
🐰🩷
I'm sure you've already made the decision by now, but I love the flowery fabric and the Nora blouse. Good luck with whatever you make! Lynne 🤩
Thank you so much! X
yea! bunny marnie!! I need to make Marnie, I think its gorgeous
Haha yeah I think I have to make it 😂 🐰

Sounds great! I have seen lots of the anthea blouse and it looks like a great pattern

Thanks for this tip. I have had the pattern for ages and need to make it up 👍
Hope you are ok
