The teeth underneath are healthy so usually they stay that way ...We encourage all patients to maintain their dental cleanings and regular checkups...I have been doing cosmetic dentistry for a very long time and rarely have issues with decay underneath veneers....Now with crowns, that is easier to get decay because it fits over the entire tooth but with regular cleanings and daily brushing and flossing, the patient should be fine..

That one tooth may need a root canal if it has not already had one ... I would recommend a crown on that one front tooth and then the others could be veneers… You can mix and match and get the same outcome
For all crowns, including emax...the teeth must be prepped to allow room to make the crown....However , for Emax veneers, it is possible to do very minimal preparation....Minimal prep is where cosmetic dentistry is headed.....Lumineers offer very little tooth reduction so it is one of my favorite procedures..

I would recommend seeing an orthodontist and see if it's possible to bring it down into position...That would be the first choice and then take it from there

On the molars, we usually place onlays or crowns...If it is a bicuspid ,then a veneer usually works....Every patients bite is different so a thorough cosmetic evaluation is necessary ....Thanks for your question:)
Looks amazing, however with respect I’d be worried about some of the teeth that looked like a burnt match. Surly they’re not going to last 5-10 years under a crown?
The reason some teeth look like a burnt match is the second layer of tooth structure is present, which is Dentin and much more yellow… That can be very dark in some patients so the tooth is still healthy and yes can last for a long time
I live in south Florida and graciously, I won a smile makeover from Miami’s top cosmetic dentist. I’m still shocked. When I went for my X-ray, they said I need 3 implants, a crown molding, a crown and 3 vaneers. With a deep cleaning. This wensday they are also pulling teeth. With 3 implants. Is this a lot of work? Growing up I always feared the dentist. Little nervous but don’t wanna tell them bc they are doing this for free.

Hey there...I use DenMat Ultrabond Supreme White in most of my cases....if the underlying tooth is dark, then I use tetrapaque and Ultrabond Blockout Supreme White....every case is different but for most Supreme White...and yes I will make a video on Temps:)

Donald Hampton thank you for watching and thank you for your question ...We did not actually place the implant in but we restore it… The actual implant runs around 2200 to 2700... we referred to a specialist for that...However the crowns and veneers run between 1400 to 1600 each... we did 8 so around 11,000 ... yes… It is expensive but these will last her for a very very long time!

Wouldn't putting crowns on teeth with caries cause a bigger problem down the road? The crown will not adhere to the tooth properly and eventually break off. Her breath will be horrible. I don't remember you mentioning anything about that.
you mean a deep cleaning? We take care of all the gum issues beforehand so there should be no need for any time of deep cleaning...Now do you mean a root canal? If a root canal is needed on a veneer or crown , then we simply go through the restoration...

If I could have one wish it would be to fix my teeth I used to take drugs and was on medication I had a sex change when I was 18 and for those six years I felt so beautiful and now I can’t even look at myself in the mirror my bottom front tooth has receded and cause a gap and my dentist says my gum health is so much better as I brush twice a day electric toothbrush and in between floss brushes and a water streamer for Inbetween teeth but I just feel so ugly I wish I had the money to do this I can’t even film my TH-cam channel I can’t you film me doing nails because if I do make up that means I have to talk I am hideous

bob stone all the time but the patients are the ones wanting this ...just like bald men look good but want hair transplants ...I for one do not push treatment on any patient....now days the teeth are minimally prepared so as to maintain tooth structure
@@DrTerriAlaniyour analogy is wrong, bald people have no hair, these people do have teeth.a bald person is not getting something taken away when they have transplants .this is like permanently removing someones hair and giving them a wig.
bob stone we remove such a minimal amount of enamel now and I have never had a patient want their veneers removed so It really is about patient preference and wanting to improve their self esteem with a nice smile ...thank you for your input:)
have you ever noticed dentist don't get their own teeth veneered...they must all be born with a high self esteem.
