One things I like is that you can sync the client in TaxDome to the client in QBO. Invoice information populates to QBO after invoicing in TaxDome. It doesn't have to be either/or.

So we did a TD demo today and it all looked really nice up until the point where it could not track time with billable rates. How would you go about tracking time tracking staff productivity, WIP etc.? We use Practice CS now amd the folks like it and already have a hard time with change. Would it be good to tell them to use QBO Accountant time tracking and some how Integrated TD so all the clients show in both places?

thanks for all the good info. Hector! in the Organizer can the Required Questions that are Required - can they be marked so the client knows they MUST answer these? If I don't get the questions answered i have created a template email to send out that tells them I need to know these answers.... like did you trade Crypto or how do you want your refund check or Dir Deposited to bank...???

I spend a lot of time trying to resolve issues - I do less than 100 TRs and am implementing with my Bookkeeping clients and the invoicing feature is painful syncing with QBO... just sayin'

If this is the only difference than you can just use the IRS transcripts program as a standalone for $50 per month for one user with a #caf and then just use Tax Dome and save tons of money?
goog note about the invoicing,,, I just switched to new payment processors, and Gateway from Intuit,,, isn't Stripe expensive? IMO having a tax client able to see invoice is not a good thing... they can see how much they paid last year and oh it went up... why is that... more questions...

Does customer get email notification automatically about the fact that you uploaded a doc for them to sign? or do you have to send the email? or can you manually send the email adding any comments you want them to see about the document they are signing?

Hey Eddie, billing only links through stripe or CPA charge. The only piece you can sync back to QBO is the billing from TD to QBO if you invoice via stripe or CPA charge. Hope that helps
Hello, In addition to Hector’s comments, I also think that for $50 a month per user paid annually on the TD pro plan you get more for the money. It looks like Karbon’s team plan is $59 a mo (per user paid annually) and limits storage, limits the total client list to 1000. Both of these are unlimited with TD. Lastly, their unlimited onboarding and training being included is a great value proposition to help you feel comfortable with using the app.

Canopy is the only one that claims to do those transcripts, i have never tried it.

I specifically needed e-signature, locking docs with invoices, and customized workflows. Karbon didnt have that when i used it like 2 years ago.
