I can’t believe they rode that mare to show her with her leg in that condition.! Poor baby! Thank you for your kindness and love. I loved seeing her eat. ❤
OMG!! ZEUS! So cute taking a snooze and all his adorable grunting and groaning. He looks super happy! And poor Aurora and her issues, she's been through a lot clearly but has found a little slice of heaven now. Once she puts on a few hundred pounds she will feel and look even better! I hope that wound on her leg clears up and she's not as stocked up on that leg. Once that wound is better it will be easier. We used to run the hose on the swollen leg a few times a day and keep it wrapped at night and hand walking and gentle massage really helps. Though I noticed the older drafts tend to get stocked up in the hind end. You guys are truly heroes!! Sending you and all your giant fur babies much love and snuggles!! Bless you for all you do!
I am clueless as to how you handle all of this. I hope people stop thinking the Amish are a kind, gentle group. Wishing you a blessed Christmas and many donation gifts.
Its like the amish have the wool pulled over everyones eyes. You should hear them speak to their children. I know someone who left the order and it is not pretty. Only 8th grade educations…when i think how little i knew at age 13.
*These people have hearts of gold. PLEASE DONATE.* If all the viewers just sent $5 it would be a tremendous help. Rescue work is stressful, expensive and often heartbreaking. I try to give as much as I can, when I can. They are really doing the hard work and every equine vet visit costs a small fortune. I just donated and I wish it could have been 100xs more. God Bless you all. Merry Christmas.
I know how stressful rescue work is and also emotionally draining because of all the abuse and misery you get to witness. I did dog rescue for years and was involved in many rescues, I also fostered, it wasn’t equine rescue but non the less it takes its toll on the rescuers no matter what animal it is. I also know how expensive rescue work can be because of surgeries, general vet care, vaccinations, food and other supplies that are needed on a regular basis, I no longer do rescue work due to my age but I do support the Big Hoof Foundation whenever I can on a fixed income. Horses are my first love before before any other animal, I have loved them as far back as I can remember and they have a very special place in my heart, I so miss being around them, smelling their scent, being able to touch their velvety soft noses and hearing their whinnies, so I get my “fix” by watching videos on channels like this one. I love all animals and none of them deserve to be mistreated or abused and it absolutely breaks my heart knowing what is being done to our horse population in America! Granted we no longer allow horse slaughter, however we do allow for those majestic creatures to be send off to Mexico and Canada for slaughter for dog food and to land on someone’s dinner table which is disgusting and I find it atrocious that our government is even allowing that!
I love the "Talker" not sure which one's name. The one laying down who got up for you. He was so animated with his moaning and a big sigh. A Contenment Sigh for sure! Thank YOU for all you do for these beautiful rescues!❤🙏🏻✌️💪
The horses seems VERY content(!!!) even having farrier work done while laying down!! That’s impressive considering how short of a time that they have been at your place. Great Job 👏🏻!!
They should have had a vet come and look at Auroras leg at the livestock place. I guess they don’t do that. Poor horse. I’m so glad you were able to rescue her too. You guys are amazing.
I want to say Thank, you for all the amazing care & Love you give these magnificent horses! They are so amazing! My heart goes out to you for the losses of Paisley & Finn! Just know that they were happy & they all know they are loved! God Bless ya'll & thank, you so much for all your hard work in rescuing these beautiful babies!
It always amazes me that horses such as these who have not had easy lives, understand very quickly when they are safe and loved! Aurora, who looks sick and unhealthy when she arrives at the farm perks up the next day and becomes interested in everything going on around her! These are such gentle intuitive animals that deserve all the good in the world, namely Julie and Cory! Thank you, thank you!
I am so grateful you have the heart to be the lifeline for these magnificent Belgians. I eagerly await each video, which are so detailed and inspiring. Your love for these animals is so evident, and powerful. The cats seem to adore Aurora. A most blessed Christmas for all of you!
You really see those horses are thankful to you guys , so cute to see them run up to you while filming . Thanks for all the hard work you put in their well being?
Holy cow! Hercules is huge! I am so glad that both him and Zeus are with you! Aurora is absolutely a delight! It was so cute also how Liam was just laying there after his little hoof trim! It’s so sweet how they all just follow you around and want your attention! ❤😊❤. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas filled with blessings!
How good of you to take these three beautiful horses. So great that you were able to take the bonded pair together. God bless you all. You are amazing. 🙏🙏
I just came across your channel snd will start donating towards your feed bill !!! You guys are amazing ppl !! Angels without wings ❤ 🎄MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄 TO ALL OF YOU 🎄
Thank you for all you and Corey do for these magnificent hires. Your passion, your heart and your love show in all you do,for them. Chose a few things from the Amazon list, hope they can help a bit.
Ps. I just absolutely love love the sorrel mare ! How beautiful. And what a long hard day for Mr Corey ! Wow great job. I’d be so nervous hauling them on the highway!! Geez. It would’ve probably taken me 13 hours to get back ! And my gosh can you imagine the amount of feed/hay they use ?? I encourage everyone to donate if they can or just watch the ads and hit like to do as much as we can even if you can donate - I’m sure they appreciate all !! ❤️🐴❤️
That’s great that you could take them all in! 😊😊What you going to do when you run out of space lol..😊 I have no doubts you will find a way!, Your husband also is amazing, he must be a huge help to you…😊😊 Best wishes for the festive season etc, and all the best for the horses😊😊 Warmest wishes 🥰🥰from Australia😊😊🇦🇺🇦🇺🦘🦘
Welcome new friends and enjoy your retirements! Farrier videos are quite popular, I'm sure we'd enjoy the "very boring" huge hooves being worked on. ;-)
God Bless you Julie and Corey! You both have such soothing voices for your horses! Thank you for all you do for these beautiful Belgian Horses!❤️🥰💜🥰❤️🥰
You should network with Horse Plus Humane Society and transfer some of your Drafts ? You will get compassion fatigue if you don't adopt some out so you can rescue more.
Fletcher Farms you people are a blessing to these beautiful horses. I wish all of the horses at the auction could be saved. Thank you for being such kind humans. Why do they need to go to slaughter?? hateful!!
Hi Julie, just donated from my aged pension. surely the herd is so big now that you cannot remember all their names..?? Maybe you're going to have to spray paint their names on their sides..!!🤣🤣🤣. Best wishes, and merry christmas from Australia
Julie thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for all that you and your husband are doing! I feel joy and absolute sadness when I see these beautiful majestic creatures at the livestock auction scheduled to be slaughtered which is unrcontionable to me, it just breaks my heart what is being done to our horses in this country! Thank you again, I will donate whenever I can and try to help because I know how high vetenary costs are for equines and all the rest of that goes into taking care and feeding those beautiful creatures! I wish you and your family a blessed Christmas and a successful happy healthy New Year from Conroe Texas!
Aurora sure did like being brushed. Finally someone is giving her positive attention. Thank you for all you do. I did donate the best I could. I do have this video bookmarked so maybe later in 2024 I can donate again. Thank you so much for all that you do and the contacts you have to save so many. I just wish we could save many, many more.
Thanks for the video. We'll take it as the farms Christmas present to your subs. Now we get more great, new beautiful horses to love with you. It's fantastic that you were able to keep the two boys together for their retirement. I'm so sorry to hear about Aurora's troubles. Hopefully it's was found early enough to get her healthy so you can feed her, your favorite pastime! A sinus infection in a footlong nostril must be extra painful. Hopefully this will clear it up this time and she will be over this. I'm so happy you finally got Noah to stand still for a few minutes. He must have really been in need of balancing. The farrier must have been completely zapped after all of those giant hoofs he trimmed.
With the absolutely wonderful work this rescue does, it would be so great if a construction crew would donate their time and materials to put in drainage lines to protect this property from flooding. They could put in a large pond for the water to drain into! ....... ' just saying..... !
Thank you for sharing your beautiful horses and the ones that you get from the auction. You do such a wonderful job with them and they so deserve a life after someone is beat them down for years. I can’t imagine someone just beating on me beating on me regular every day, expecting a job and never giving me the right nutrition or taking care of me like they should. Thank God for people like you in Amarillo at Fletcher’s farm 🙏❤️ have a merry Christmas
It was so sweet when you told Aurora, "I love you" when you left her at the vet's. That would be me saying those words if Aurora was mine. 💗Thank you and Merry Christmas!
Thank you for your wonderful love and care for these beautiful horses who are cared for exceptionally well. To think that they wouldn’t be here today showing us there beauty if you hadn’t rescued them. I’m honoured to be a monthly subscriber I wish I could give more as I know they need a lot but I do try to send something when you do fundraising etc. I really love seeing the videos on TH-cam the horses make my heart smile, they are big but so majestic. Thank you to you and Corey for devoting yourself’s to the beautiful rescue and care of the horses, I hope your dreams for the future come true. Wishing you and your families and supporters a Happy Christmas and a wonderful 2024. Joan ❤️🇬🇧
Wow Cory & Julie your hearts ❤️ just the greatest ! 22 horses didn’t you start with 6 ? Well I am Praying the Christmas Santa will bless you again this Christmas 🎅🏻 So admire your will & Kindness to theses horses 🎉 I know if they could talk in fact, Hercules, sounds like he does talk adorable Merry, merry Christmas and may you have a blessed New Year’s 🎉👍❤️
Thank you! Yes! We actually started with a donkey 🤣 and a donkey and baby and then 6 horses! It's amazing to me that we have rescued 33 equines since we started in 2022. Doesn't sound like a lot but it's 33 less that went to slaughter. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you as well!
I'm always in awe watching your videos Julie - you and your husband and everyone involved in the background do a fantastic job. Your dedication and love for these magnificent animals shines through. Thank goodness for people like you giving these animals a loving home 🐴❤️
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you as well, Julie and your husband. He's been amazing driving to get these gentle giants and bringing them home to where they will be safe for the rest of their lives. I hope Aurora the Belgian mare can be helped, she is very ballooned up on her rear leg, along with that eye issue. Merry Christmas to you all.. Yes draft horses eat a lot and getting 22 horses hoof care every 6 to 8 weeks is expensive I know up here in Vermont its 50 to 75 for a trim, getting shoes puts it at the 150 or more mark.
Was missing you but figured you were busy with getting ready for Christmas 🎄. So sorry that you had all these vet bills!! But glad you were able to rescue more horses and poor Aurora really needed rescuing. I hope she will do well now as she is pretty young, wasn't she? 13 I think he said? What happened to the stallion you had? Haven't seen any news on him. Was it Liam laying down to get his feet done? He just looked like the sweetest little teddy bear baby aww... XXXOOO. God bless you all!🙏
Aaaah! So good to see this video. Wow!! Absolutely AMAZING what you and Cory have just done. Well done! 22 precious poppets. Poor Aurora - to see her having to trot up and down in the livestock video made me weep. But, she is with you now and what a life she is having. Thank you for saving these giant beauties and it is fully understandable. We LOVE seeing the updates no matter. Merry Christmas to you ALL there. May 2024 be a very superbly PROSPEROUS year for you all at Fletcher Farm x
Happy Holidays to your family. God bless you and all the others involved in this much needed work! May God bless the horses, all of you working with them and the vets caring for them.
I have a bad leg, broken 4 times. Had knee replacement too, sprained ankle, bone spurs, swelling, you name it. I can relate to Aurora, poor gal. My greatest relief is my velcro-wrap ice packs that i keep in the freezer. I have several and they wrap snugly and stay on when I’m walking around. Do you ever use that treatment? Even when i hurt my ribs in a post-op fall, the ice wraps helped more with that pain than hardcore bet pain med. the packs can also be heated, so you can do ice/heat rotations. Since she never gets to elevate her leg so it can drain, i bet she’s uncomfortable. And what about a long ace bandage wrap put on in the morning and re-wrapped through the day? Just sayin.
So happy to see a video of the horses. I completely understand why you have posted a video for a while. I just go and rewatch other videos. Liam is just a big baby. I can't believe it, a horse bigger than Liam. I will be donating next week, just unable to this week. Merry Christmas to you and your family. You guys are awesome. I will be volunteering at an animal rescue starting next week. I cant wait!!!
Thank you so much! We appreciate your support, kindness and generosity! WE need to do a video on how tall everyone is. We will work on that for next year. Have a Merry Christmas as well!
So are you actually creating a large Belgian herd? They are majestic creatures! Thank you for giving these increíble horses a huge retirement home!
I can’t believe they rode that mare to show her with her leg in that condition.! Poor baby! Thank you for your kindness and love. I loved seeing her eat. ❤
It made me cringe.
I hate those people they do not have a heart.😢

Yes!! They are a horrible group of people, some anyway... another thing they do is breed dogs and treat them horribly!!
I am really glad that this channel has brought awareness to what is happening to these animals. We appreciate everyone watching!
There are no Amish in the UK otherwise me and my friend the bat would be having a little chat with them.
@HorseMalone Yea IF only!! But they live in herds themselves so a special "meeting " would have to be planned
I have 20 acres & I have room for one more draft horse. I was a Vet Tech for 10 years, including large animals, horses & cattle.
Wow so nice you have a nice place❤
When I saw the left leg on the mare at Bowie livestock my heart just went out to her. Thank you and Corey and all those who help you.

I think the Amish need a lot of prayer to make it to Heaven.
Oh, let’s have a spa day! Mani/pedi with Liam.❤
She does look like a little teddy bear lying down.

Thank you for taking care of these amazing creatures. Bless you. Merry Christmas.🧡
Thank you so much! Happy New Year to you as well! We appreciate your support!
That's a lot of mucking out every day 😮
YES! Caring for these horses is a lot of work!
Sooo Beautiful. . .
Happy Holidays to your family. God bless you and all the others involved in this much needed work! May God bless the horses, all of you working with them and the vets caring for them.
Happy Holidays! Thank you for the kind words and for following our journey!
Just sayin.
Thank you so much for all you have done for the horses. Love you! :)
@@FletcherFarmsAmarilloI can't wait to see that video. I love big Belgian draft horses ❤
