YES! It's time! The Marble League, the pinnacle of marble sports is back! And along with it 16 teams hungry to get that shiny ML trophy. But first you have to compete across 16 events and get on top of the other teams. First off, we start with Climbing a brand new event that we first saw in ML22 Qualifiers and Friendly rounds, it's here today to start the season. Who will win? Who will come out on top? Let us know in the comments!

How did you get this and where can we get one
The production level continues to improve every single ML. This year is no different. The opening ceremonies, camera angles, crowd shots, etc… Just absolutely incredible. Nothing short of amazing from the JMR team once again!
I am just totally smitten by the tiny laptops and beverages in the VIP-lounge, and Greg's equipment and just the DETAILS! The little emergency-exits! *awwwwwwwwwwwwww!*

When I first watched the quailes for this years marble league I was devastated that the hazers didn’t qualify, but now I’ve realised that it’s a blessing, becuase I no longer have to sit through the pain of watching our marbles come in 12th place, what a sad little life I have.

I'm not a sports person. Most traditional sports I don't care about or follow, but the Marble League? That's something I always look forward to.
What a spectacular start to the 2022 marble league, especially as a Team Galactic supporter! I feel like us missing out last year might have been a break the athletes needed, so proud of them showing up strong right out the gate!

Don't get your hopes up too much. Remember what happened in the qualifiers. They started off well getting a first in climbing but dropped off to Galacfifth after the end of the qualifiers. Just be wary. Other than that, Goooooo Galactic!!!

My Midnight Wisps always seem to do better in these mixed events than in the actual races. And the production value of the whole show keeps getting better and better!
They do seem to be much better and more confident overall in the team based events than as individual athletes. It is one of the things that keeps me supporting them good times and bad. #FearTheNight #WillOfTheWisps

Before the event I was expecting a good performance of the Bumblebees because of the qualifiers.

Rough start for the Raspberry Racers but from the qualifiers we knew this wouldn’t be our best game anyway
Who is ready for the Marble League? Woodsie is! Okay, I can't help myself. Thanks to Jelle and his crew for making this possible! Even if the ducks do fall hard in the first event, they will bounce back like last year!
Edit: Well I do hope my prediction is correct! We now really need a gold, and just like last year, going into this event we had 0 points but got first place! In the qualifiers a 400+ is also a good sign... Let's pull back like last year Ducks!!!

Team Momo and the Kobalts didn't qualify, so I'll be supporting the Chocolatiers and Gliding Glaciers in the main tournament! Best of luck to them.
Those are two of my top three teams as well. Luckily, Bumblebees made it so I'm rooting for them.

Since the heat matchups don't really matter that much, it would be cool if we could see the podium leaders as the heats are going. Kind of like the qualifying leaderboard in Marbula One. Still fun times! Great work!

What a fantastic start! I don’t want to get my hopes up as we’ve been lead down the road to disappointment before, but could this be Galactics year?! Let’s Go Team Galactic!
Amazing Opening Ceremony that made the hype even more real! ^-^
Still the first event kinda hit me, cause after the friendly I almost expected that my Raspberries wouldn't to to well here but there was still hope...that kinda got crushed. But well it is the first event and there are many to go still and last year some teams also started bad but suddenly have begun an amazing and fast climbing (lol :D) and I hope they'll just do it the same!
But outside of that amazing event anyway, with I think Team Galactic and Team Bumblebees are the biggest winners or the star players of this event with two runs over 70, which is indeed amazing. The Bumblebees even ending with the exact same result in both runs... the is some crazy consistency indeed. I may wonder if they maybe will end in being team consistency of the year in total, especially after the regular team holding this title, the Thunderbolts haven't made the cut this year. Would be kinda amazing ngl haha. :D
Also big F for the hosts, but that was absolutely nothing, they ended up with an result that was as much behind the second last as the Pinkies on 10th from the winners of this event. They definitely have to have a relaxing day calming their nerves, cause the host pressure on them seemed to be to high here. But in general the teams of the first heat turned out overall pretty weak, hm...
Anyway first round first try, next time everything can and will be change probably, so keep your head high everyone, it just can get better!
Let's goooo galactic! Certainly didn't expect a start this strong, hopefully the boys can ride the momentum and bring the trophy home!!

I usually don't get too caught up with opening ceremonies, but this one really got me.
I think it was a bit too much pressure after that amazing opening ceremony for Billy and Quacky though. We should be able to bounce back on the next event though. #QuackAttack
Billy's only consistency is his inconsistency. When he does good, he knocks out of the proverbial park, when he doesn't, it's just sad.
Solid start for my O'Rangers. Did a lot better it this event compared to the qualifiers so that's really promising. Certainly off to a better start than in ML21. Keep it up, boys! OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I lost two out of my three favorites in qualifiers, so Team Galactic is my second favorite this year. But Raspberry Racers still the best team. (Not a great start for them though...)

@@kur1tan It is strange. Shows how humans can connect to anything if you give it a name. I know these are just small glass balls without conscience, but I also know I'm kinda disappointed that the Hazers didn't make it this year and that I could do without the Orangers for a season.

Well, maybe they're still a bit low on confidence after the heartbreak of ML21. Being screwed over in the final event is something that sticks with you, especially if it prevented you from winning the title.

Honestly can't even get mad at that tie-breaker, CCE had a pretty rough run 1. On the other hand bumblebees had an incredibly consistent set of high scores, well deserved bronze!

Incredible performance today, you have to really love seeing the teams back in action again.
Climbing is often underestimated in terms of technical ability, but the first runner really has to make the most of everything they have before passing the momentum on to their teammate; and the teammate has to squeeze as much ground out of what they're given to get the distance, they have to be ready with milliseconds mattering.

I hope the Ducks get more oomph in the coming rounds, their fans have really been waiting for this chance to take the win at home. As an O'Rangers fan, I'd obviously like to see more out of them, but it was tough competition that pushed real close to record breaking, so there's no shame in Top 5. We'll get 'em next time, but you really have to give it to Team Galactic and Balls of Chaos, they put it all on the track and it showed. Keep an eye on the Crazy Cats Eyes, though; they could be a real sleeper seeing how big the improvement was between first and second heat.
If this is a taste of what ML22 has in store for us, we're all in for a real treat.
We finally back, and right now, I'm rooting for Crazy Cat's Eye to finally take home the win!
