- The Downfall of the Limers, a video about how the Limers went from 2nd in the 2017 standings, all the way to finishing last in the 2019 Marble League Showdown. Their fall from grace is full of interesting moments that'll all be talked about here in this video!

As a Limers fan, I am still surprised at how well they are doing in the Marble Survival 100
The Limers just qualified for the Marble League 2021! They did it! What a historical day this is (18.6.21). We are back among the Top 16 teams this competition has to offer. Dedication and hard will. I am so proud. I am so exited to see if they are up for the task to finally get up that damn final podium. #LimeTime

And the racers even got lapped, but somehow, the limers still managed to get in the basement
Poor limers, Hopefully we can bring back and finish strong in the last events of Marbula 1. It is a heartbreaking story but as you see we won't giveup.
It's easy to single out the Limers for a hit-piece, but the reality of all team sports is that there are always some teams that are just going to be perennial losers; it makes it that much more exciting when they suddenly spring up out of the weeds and start winning - or at least upsetting the status quo.
Pick a sport - there's ALWAYS going to be teams that fumble around at the bottom of the standings most of the time; that doesn't usually mean they get kicked out of the league.This retirement talk is just that: talk. The only thing that really matters are having the fans in it for the long haul: the Limers have a devoted fan base that sticks with them; they'll be back - IF they can qualify.

As a fan of the Kobalts I was reluctant to include them but after the ML2021 qualifiers I should probably put them in there too.

I'm a MASSIVE Limers fan but that shot of us in 2nd with Pinkies and Oceanics in 3rd and 4th is turning out to have been some kind of curse 🟢💚

Great Video- I'm always amazed when the Limers even qualify for anything, but they usually do, near the bottom, and stay there for the entire season- I don't think the Limers will ever retire, as it seems they are one of Jelle's personal favorites- and I hope they never do- I've never been a Limers fan, and never will be, but they're one of those "Lovable Loser" teams Like the Oceanics and Jungle Jumpers, where when they DO place say at 7th in anything, you marvel at it --- also I had an extra Laugh as I watched this after the Marbula One- S2-GP9 race where the Limers and Raspberry Racers had a tough fought competition for 15th and 16th- and the Limers were Last again, and almost Lapped

If ever a team deserved a full, in depth documentary chronicling it's downfall, it's the Limers. I'm a lifelong Limer fan, but each year is a challenge. Excellent documentary and it forced a lot of us Limer fans to really look into the void and relive some horrible moments from our past. #LimeTime

I'm so surprised by Minty Maniacs retiring back in the day, considering they showed up during the Marbula One seasons. 🤯
The Limers have seen some light at the end of the tunnel. They finished 8th in the showdown, and were as high as 3rd at one point. It’s their first competition they finished in the top half ever. (Off season events don’t count)

The Limers, Pinkies, and chocolatiers actually did good in the 1st half of 2017. Very impressed that these 3 teams did good. Now their just... there... lets see what the limers and chocolatiers can do this 2021 marble league!

As a Raspberry Racer Fan I couldn’t help but smile most of this video
I mean, pinkies, rojo rollers, definitely the hornets oh god. All are in the same boat as far as participation and doing well. And I think everyone likes them. Except maybe the hornets they don't have a very big fan base.

Limers are like the Cam Newton of the league
Perhaps there is finally a new dawn and the Limers persistence and never say die spirit is finally paying dividends, with them qualifying for this years Marble League, albeit, I seem to remember them only just squeezing in ahead of the Jungle Jumpers! I did see a picture somewhere of the Jungle Jumpers all sitting round a bar, drinking, when they should probably have been training and a few years ago they failed to turn up in time to register for the final event of the then Marblelympics, as they had been out celebrating recent successes! It's possible they were the worse for wear and that if they had saved their celebrations until they had definitely qualified, then the Limers would once more have been out in the cold. Perhaps not though and they were in peak condition and the Limers beat them anyway! Anyway, the Limers now have a chance to make up for past failures. The Minty maniacs comeback last year and the Gliding Glaciers this year may spur them on!
