This is it! The big finale! The Honeydome GP will host another race, this time for the Marble League 2023. There are title contenders, there are bragging rights, there is the auto-qualification for ML24.
A lot to play out in this race! Who will stand on top? And who is going to become the next ML champion? And also, who will be the host of ML24?

Watching the credits and reminding myself about Team JMR's OUTSTANDING effort to bring us a production that stands up to any of the big-time sporting events that you can watch on TV. THANK YOU, Team JMR... THANK YOU so much.

Cinema photography and commentary is one that really rival's Hollywood.
This was an incredible effort by the hosting team, the Bumblebees! I don't think we've ever seen a host team perform this well and this consistently. The whole line up was incredible - not a single team missed the podium over the course of the whole championship. This may be a Marble League for the record books. Every marble out there should be incredibly proud.
It's the first time every team got at least 100 points, and up until event 13 everyone could mathematically still win. That's incredible. Even if the teams I support (Team Galactic and Snowballs) didn't score that high, it's probably my favorite season yet.
Of course, leave it to the Cat's Eyes to suck the fun out of everything

OMG Red Eye just singlehandedly grabbed CCE by the bootstraps and carried them kicking and screaming to glory. As he has done so many times before. A true marble superstar.

Everyone is talking about the heartbreak of Bumblebees and the clutch of Crazy Cat's Eyes, but I personally find it mindblowing how Savage Speeders managed to bottle the championship in just 2 events, from almost guaranteed to win to a bitter 3rd place.
yeah but the Speeders are like the Yankees, we all expect them to do well most years so them doing just sort of meh is no skin off our noses (save for those that are fans... but then again they are speeder's fans so they get to celebrate most of the time haha)

As a die hard speeder fan my heart is destroyed and my faith in the team is cracked, I cannot believe we put a reserve in Event 15 and then to choke this event is unfathomable.
Ya, the Speeders have to be furious about that collapse (they're the type of team where anything short of 1st is a disappointment). Personally, I'm ok with them being upset, though. :)

I am so blown away by how close the podium was. It could have come down any way. Major credit to the Savage Speeders and Crazy Cat's Eyes, but most of all the host team. Well done Bumblebees, you were going up against two powerhouse legacy teams, and you hung in there. Well done, you served the queen well🐝🐝🐝
Wow, it's amazing how many images the phrase "served the queen" can conjur up. My mind flashed through the Borg Queen, a Queen Alien, the Sliver Queen, and then Queen Elizabeth II, before finally bringing up a queen bee, which would be the correct image here.
Bumblebees shattered the host curse. Crazy Cats Eyes deserve massive credit because even with MULTIPLE ZEROES they still came out on top. I'm a Speeders fan myself, and while I'm a bit disappointed with our performance, we gave it our all. Just think, only 2/3 more spots and we would've won. Still, congrats to all the teams, all of them surpassed expectation at some point (I was pleasantly surprised by the Thunderbolts climbing a few spots after being dead last for so long).
@@diamondbandit8385there's never been a host curse. Only Oceanics suffered in their host season because of an abnormal amount of water events that they're not suited to. Other than them, Snowballs came 7th, Galactic came 7th, CCE came 6th, Green Ducks came 5th and Bees came 2nd.

It's a sad feeling when Marble League comes to a close. Thanks to the team for all of their work and everyone who supports. Congratulations to the overall champions and everyone that compete in this years event.
Now we've got to set our calendars to Winter 2024 and count down the days. I do love a Winter Marble League.

If there’s anything I’ve learned from watching Jelle’s Marble Runs, it’s that having the word “red” in your name makes you inherently powerful

I cannot even begin to describe how underrated and relatively unknown this type of content, and this specific channel, are. The production is insane and I’m so happy to have been following along for so long to watch this channel’s growth. This is the only marble channel i really watch and i will happily continue to chime back for every event between watching my usual content. Thank you Jelle and team!! ❤❤
Not enough people are talking about how much the Rojo Rollers have improved this year after not qualifying last year and being dead last the year prior, never being mathematically eliminated until the final event and finishing 5th overall is a massive accomplishment for them! I personally think they also had the most exciting finish ever in the Elimination Race too which helps. They've made a real fan out of me this year! #RojoCaliente

My absolute favorite thing in the closing ceremony was @13:50 when the clattering release of the marble teams synched perfectly with the soundtrack and made it cooler and percussive. Hats off to the composer for that!

What a performance, absolutely the most legedary marble athlete of all time
Dragged the team to a win even when the whole universe was dragging him down.
You can't forgot Blue Eye's amazing performance during the G-Force Endurance event helping secure that bronze medal
I can't believe that race, the ending, or how the top three were all within a point of each other.
I thought for sure the CCE were out of the running after that disastrous middle half of the games, but the came back in the end, and Red Eye proved what a legend they are by having legendary performances in the final two race events.
I feel bad for the Bumblebees, because they were so good all around, and it really looked like they were going to overcome the Host Curse.
I would say they did overcome the host curse. Coming in second and only one point behind is an amazing result, even though they could have had the big triumph had it not been for that last lap. But their season definitely wasn't bad.
I do not feel bad for them I am proud of them instead, they had their best performance EVER and not only that they had the BEST PERFORMANCE OUT OF ANY HOSTS
I'd say overall podium counts as overcoming the Host Curse.

As a CCE fan since... I don't know... 2020... I can't feel anything but good with them winning, but as I sat there the entire race seeing what was happening, I was glad it was the bumblebees in front. I would enjoy seeing them win.

A legend. I’m firmly with the Cats now. I’ve always had a soft spot for them but this has made me love them that much more.
I am absolutely crushed for the Bumblebees. Huge fan of them and I was on the edge of my seat. Heart was pounding. Trying to will them to a ML championship on home soil. It felt like watching Borussia Dortmund. Just slipped away at the last possible moment. I'm heartbroken but will continue on. Our time is coming.
I feel the exact same way. Even as a Momo fan, I was absolutely heartbroken. The bumblebees fell just short of becoming the first ML host to win the championship and by 1 MEASLY POINT. And quite a coincidence we compared it to how Borussia Dortmund bottled the Bundesliga to Bayern Munich. But hey, maybe we'll see a revenge arc from the bees in something like the next Marble League or Marbula 1. #BumbleRumble
As a CCE fan, I was saddened by how close Bumblebees came. It was almost a storybook ending for them.
As a CCE fan, seeing Red Eye overtake Bumble made me literally jump up and down with excitement.

As a CCE fan, I' m honoured to see how amazing of a fight bumblebees put up, I am watching this at work and I legit scared the crap out of my customers at that overtake, as I didn't think it was even possible! I hope to see them once more at a lap race, that was the peak of this year's league for me

Red eye is the king when it comes to marbula one. He proves himself yet again, and brings home the championship. What an absolute LEGEND!!!!
He carried them to victory this year, in spite of the incompetent coach and dead weight teammates
Edit: red eye learned last year that leading too early meant getting targeted. He was smart to hang in second/ third until the end.
I have to say, I was in pure disbelief of CCE taking the cup this year until I saw that the final two events were racing.
Having such an experienced racer in the team made all the difference. Yes! MVM!

I just have to praise JMR's on the attention to detail on display in almost every race, don't think I didn't notice the one marble that went out of its way to put the chair back up that fell over during the podium ceremony. It's those little details that really adds to the viewing experience as a whole. Thank you for this years Marble League and congratulations to the winners of course!

WE DID IT!!! CCE TAKES IT ALL!! The golden child RED EYE carries us. 5 years in the making, and the year i least expect it the team pulls through, bronze and two golds in the last 3 events to take it all. The bumblebees 3 turns away from taking the whole thing until Red eye does their thing, absolute GOAT performance.
And with 0 points three times through the whole thing! I did not think it could happen!! Go cce!

I just got into marble league this year and CCE are my team so I feel so lucky to have my team win straight away... what a rush. I was also screaming like a crazy person.

Firstly, a big congratulations to all teams for a brilliant marble league. Secondly, as a Crazy cats eye fan, I honestly thought we’re not going to win but I’m sure glad we did. Finally a big shoutout to the bumblebees for being brilliant hosts of the league and we’re a brilliant team during it.
I also thoght we wouldn't win. An amazing first event but then a decline right after until they finally dragged themselves back up in these last few events!

Seeing teams get eliminated from winning kicked us (red eye especially) into high gear
This is the greatest comeback I’ve ever seen in Marble League history, I might be wrong but did CCE go from 8th to 1st in just 2 events?? Also the battle with the Bumblebees was straight out of a movie! Only 1 point separates the champions my lord! And only 1 point separates savage speeders from bumblebees! Closest Marble League we’ll probably ever see. As a Chocolatiers fan it was just exciting to see this crazy action from the sidelines 😅
yeah, as a Racers fan our late season fell apart (we were in the running up till a few events ago and then just disaster....) but it was still an AMAZING season to watch! haven't had that much of a team against team struggle since the Racers vs the Ducks in 19. This one will go down in the books for sure!

Oh what? The one team I wasn't counting on. Bumblebees did everything they did but came up just 1 point short. That would have been a huge win for the hosts. Ouch. Savage Speeders fell but the Cat's Eyes snickered the championship. Such a classic season right to the very end.

It’s not 4th place so they might have a chance to qualify for 2024 since some teams that finished 4th failed to qualify next year besides the Speeders
As a guy who watches football and other sports, if you were to tell me 10 years ago that I would be up past midnight, absolutely ecstatic to be watching marbles fight to be first and genuinely enjoying myself, I would’ve said you were nuts.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING MARBLE LEAGUE!!! Been a fan of the Bumblebee’s since they got introduced in the 2018 Hubelino tournament. The way they played this season was just amazing! The merge with the Hornets really boosted this team’s talent and strength. They’ve grown from being a mediocre and forgettable team to fighting for an ML championship. Well done Bumblebees. Couldn’t be more proud of you 🐝

Gliding Glaciers and Shining Swarm entered this event tied for last at 102 points, last year's marble league had Balls of Chaos finish dead last with 64 points, both Glaciers and Swarm would've finished better than 15th as well over the Midnight Wisps who had just 82 points as well. This was a much tougher competition this year!
Actually... it looks like they didn't add the points in until the closing ceremony. The Gliding Glaciers actually had 110 points and ended in 15th over Team Plasma who had 109 at the very end.

That last moment upset between Red Eye and Bumble was insane! I'd all but given up hope on Cats Eyes taking the gold this year, but what a recovery in those last few events!
Wow, what a Marble League! Hard to believe the top three spots were decided by just two points. You can’t ask for a more competitive Marble League. Just disappointed the O’rangers weren’t in that mix. Hopefully they can put it together next year. Thanks Jelle Bakker, Greg Woods and everyone that makes the Marble League so fun to watch. I know I personally can’t wait for Marbula One again.

What an incredible finale! You can't get much better than this! Truly cinematic stuff indeed.
Unbelievable how CCE were up and then down all over the place throughout the league only for the absolute champ that is Red Eye to power through the last 2 events and then make that absolute winning move to take gold. Great kudos to the Savage Speeders for their powerful consistency and for being such great rivals and huge congrats to the Bumblebees for being such marvellous hosts, smashing that host's curse and being a single point from gold. Best league ever.
(And not to forget my other team but I'm proud of the Raspberry Racers too for putting in solid and consistent performances. They're a good, all-round team. I want to see them reach even higher!)
This might probably be the best Marble League edition ever, perhaps even better than last year where it ended with the Elimination Race. The atmosphere is absolutely buzzing and it's nice to see even the hosts Bumblebees having a go at a shot at glory in what is easily their best performance ever. I'm looking forward to next year and the JMR crew have done a great job at delivering yet another exciting Marble League this year.
*SPOILERS:* _The Crazy Cat's Eyes...WHERE DID THEY COME FROM? In the back of my mind, I knew that the Savage Speeders were a shoo-in for the title after winning the G-Force Endurance event, with the Bumblebees some distance back. But I bet that no one thought that CCE had any chance to win this league. And yet with their experience in dominating Marbula One, they proved to the marble world that NOTHING is impossible. Greatest comeback and choke in ML ever? Certainly!_ 😲
the pinkies proved nothing is impossible to me last year (I literally said any team can win if they can) and now we finally won
I don't know who choked harder, the speeders, the bumblebees, or the oceanic. If they didn't combine with the hornets, I think they win
CCE definitely started strong but fell off in the middle events before clutching up and finishing even stronger! The last 2 events were races, and the reigning Marbula 1 individual champion Red Eye raced to the finish lines to win both events convincingly. Red Eye's illustrious career only continues to be even greater by carrying CCE to its maiden Marble League trophy. We're lucky to witness a once-in-a-generation marble at the peak of their powers.

When I see the billions of dollars spent on the Olympics, I bow my head to the Bumblebees and Marble League for putting on an event that actually has passion and spirit to it; at a fraction of the price. Fabulous!

THIS IS A TOP 10 MOMENT IN SPORTS HISTORY. red eye the undisputed GOAT, absolutely legendary performance putting the team on his back. im in shock.
This team really gave me a heck of a rollercoaster of emotions in this league... The fact we had 3 zeros in this league... And the sleuth of down performance that occured during the events from 10 to 14
I gave up hope and thought we were going to be the oceanics this year and fall down all the way to the bottom... But this storyline was of their victory instead...
Btw shoutout to the bumblebees.. they gave us a great fight and we will see you next year as our auto-qualified comrade....
Before I comment on the race, I just want to thank *_absolutely everyone_* involved in the games. I can only imagine how much hard work you all put into it.
I won't name all the names, I might inadvertently miss someone out, but Jelle - your organisation and build skills are outstanding. Minos - your graphics and music compositions as well as the top tier performances really help raise the overall show to a level any other channel could only dream of. Frankly, it's way better than many TV shows these days.
And Greg - your commentary is genuinely second to none. This is coming from a 50+ year petrolhead, brought up with the awesome Murray Walker as my guide to everything from touring cars to F1. So believe me, I don't compliment people lightly.
As for the games, I can't believe that the Crazy Cats Eyes did it! My #2 team. I'd given up hope earlier in the season, much as I did with the O'Rangers. But it was an awesome performance by Red Eye. I should congratulate the home team too for Bee-ing so Buzz-y on keeping the games going. 😉 🐝 They did a very sweet job! 🍯🍯🍯
My #1 and #2 teams are same as yours, just reverse. I love those Cats and I am thrilled they won the championship!

What a PHENOMENAL season and final event. As a cats eyes fan I was biting my nails til the very end. Incredible race performance by red eye. Massive thanks for a great production throughout the league, already excited for next year!

Incredible, the final podium and they're all just 1 point away from each other. Really makes you appreciate how truly every point counts, every game, every finish.
I honestly think every team should be proud this year, irregardless of standing. It was so close for so long, an incredible performance by all!

Congrats to the hosts for getting a podium spot, even if they honestly deserved the gold that we stole from them at the last second.
The Speeders began this event with a huge handicap, since we've seen already in M1 many times that starting on the back and moving to the top positions is very difficult and rare, unless you miraculously jump 10-12 positions in the first 5 seconds and then keep advancing from there, it's borderline impossible
Making the classification from the last event be what determined the starting grid was a huge mistake, since it was almost as making the previous event count double. The stsrting position matter a huge lot in a race like this

But finishing just shy of Auto qualification, and fighting till the last moment for the championship, that is just so impressive, and it shows, that you are capable of being a consistent top-level contenders. As disappointing as it is to come up just short of a podium finish, I have to remind myself as a Pinkies fan that just a few short years ago, we were bottom feeders who didn't even qualify for the main tournament. Defending a championship is one of the hardest things you can do in any sport, and the Pinkies were only 7 points away from doing just that.
I'm proud of this team, and the winning culture they've been building. I know they have silenced their doubters who considered last years win a "fluke". Here's to next year, and congratulations to the Crazy Cats Eyes on the victory!
As a Rojo fan I was often rooting for us to beat the Pinkies in these recent events but I gotta say, shoutout to us bottom-feeders for making it to the top :P super impressive season by the Pinkies

it was a great title defense run all the way to the end. Them and the CCEs had a similar up and down season 😅
I can't imagine how it must've felt to be third place going in, getting third place in the event, and being bumped down to fourth for it just because it was a perfect storm of people winning before you.
Definitely going to be some conversation on why the Savage Speeders started our reserve marble on the most important event

What a comeback from CCE, and my favorite team! Every year in the past I remember being disappointed with the 10th/11th place finishes. This year, I had faith in my favorite team and believed until the end they would at least get in the top 3. A well deserved victory, congratulations CCE (and also a congrats to my second favorite team, the gliding glaciers, for being the next hosts)! My parents and I loved watching these events (Green Ducks/Team Galactic & O’rangers/Pinkies fans for my dad and mom respectively), thank you all so much for all the hard work put into it, certainly had us excited to watch on the TV after a hard day of work. The end had me screaming a happy “no way, oh my gosh”! We’ll happily be tuning in again in for the next marble league. -Minori McKinney, on behalf of the McKinney family, fans of these marble runs!

watching this as a wisps fan, my heart was beating so fast for most of the race, although we didn't get to the podium, i feel proud of wispy's performance #WillOfTheWisps

The battle for the championship was amazing to watch! 😄 The last move in the last lap deciding it, and having Red Eye showing his M1 skills where he needed it the most, these were moments for the history books. 😎Congratulations to the CCE for this win! :D Bumble gave her best, but in the end, half a lap was missing. But hey, 2nd place at the Home Games, just a single pont behind, and 1 more point in front of the Speeders - this is something to be proud of nonetheless. Even though losing the championship in the last lap is heartbreaking too... Nonetheless: Great job by both Bumblebees and Speeders this year! 😃
Starry had nothing to lose today, and got home the good 4th place to end the season on a high note. Nice little fightback in the closing laps! 😉6th in total is not too shabby, after the bad luck they had to endure during the season! 😃 Galactic can build on this, and I hope they can #ReachForTheStars next year again, and it will be a Winter one too! 😊 Looking forward to it! 😃

And once again the Midnight Wisps start with an amazing performance only to fall back in the end, also is quite ironic that they did so well in the GP considering that in the last couple of Marbula1 they've done horribly. Still....it's my team and I'm rooting for them, let's hope they do more training

I've been routing for CCE Since the beginning, and I was worried in the middle there but this was so heartwarming to watch. Congrats to all the teams who tried their best!
Screaming, crying, laughing, right now. What a Marble League finish by our cats, with 65/75 points in the last 3 events. What a finish by Red Eye, the competition's MVM, by far. Only at around lap 10 I realized that even with the Bumblebees finishing the race in 2nd, we could win it all by getting to 1st. And it made the rest of the race so much more intense to watch. That overtake on the last lap sent my chair flying back. #eyesontheprize
All this intensity emotions-wise just proves how good JMR's content is, to create such thrilling competitions and teams that we cannot help but care strongly for.

It's funny I had to run upstairs to tell my wife about the Cats win and explain what an athlete Red Eye is between this and Marbula 1. She luckily humored me with her questions such as "how many hours a week do you think he trains" I know I'm insane for getting as excited as I did over this race, but it is so much fun to watch. So much drama.

Dude, I am legitimately in tears and in disbelief in this final event and the overall standings! I can't believe it....
as a CCE fan, I thought we'd at least get a silver on the overall standings after a lot of mess ups in the middle portions of the league. And then seeing Red Eye still gave his all after the Sand Rally event, holy wow so much emotions. That last lap was incredibly intense and amazing, I was in tears (over freaking marbles haha). Bumble really put up an incredible speed and blocks, and that goes to the rest of their team. The host team has been amazing this year. Might be my new favourite team after CCE.
Congrats, Crazy Cats' Eyes, you mad marbles! Always bringing surprises and hope to see more in the next Marble League!

Wow! What a fantastic season. CCE turned their season upside down so dramatically. This is also the best performance from a home team. Speeders dropped the ball completely in the last 2 events but I'm still glad they at least finished on the podium in the end. The events presentation along with the closing ceremony were fantastic. Thanks JMR for this amazing show you have delivered for us.
I hope the next league happening at Gliding Glaciers home will give them a boost as it did for bumblebees this time.
The fact that the Speeders were still able to podium after the disaster of the last two events is why, even though I'm CCE through and through, they are the GOATs. Scary good.

One of the best finishes I've ever seen. As an Orangers fan I was rooting for the Bumblebees to finish first in their home stadium! To have such a close finish was riveting and it was great fun to watch! And of course the closing ceremonies are always amazing.
