As a former Disney Cast member I can honestly say I am impressed. With the hike in theme park prices I suspect that more people will be creating their own shows
@@thealchemistbuilds I worked Future World Attractions at EPCOT from Dec. ‘84 to Jan. ‘94. The list of attractions is long. Universe of Energy, Wonders of Life, Journey into Imagination, The Living Seas and Spaceship Earth. (And a bunch of minor exhibits)
It’s really cool that you have the technological expertise to do your haunt. The things you would be able to do…….. When it comes to Halloween, I will NEVER grow up. Though my haunt is done in a]the dark style.
Love the planning that went into it. Lightning effect is by far my favorite. How are you keeping the projector for the faces out of the weather? I saw that you watched my coffin video, and I think you could take my weathering techniques and apply it to your tombstones. You could use aluminum foil rolled into a ball and roll it over the foam to texture it. Chip out chunks with a razor blade. Use a masonry paint like Drylok mixed with sand. Paint them Grey and hit them with some weathering sprays. Then dry brush white.
Thanks! I didn't actually leave it out there, on nights I wanted the heads to be on, I would set up and bring the projector back inside. If this was a permanent, not seasonal installation, I would probably build an enclosure for it 📥
@thealchemistbuilds put santa hats on them. Boom, Christmas decorations. Bunny ears for Easter. Uncle Sam hat for the 4th. Now you've got an excuse to make it permanent.
So the tombstones... little pro tip for weathering. I mix 1 part black paint to 5 parts drywall mud to create a tombstone grey.. i kind of go easy on the black until its the right color. But that layer makes an incredible weather agent, sealing everything. And then i add other spray paints from there.
@@thealchemistbuilds😂😂😂 your channel is about to explode because your style of video is excellent! Thanks for the compliment of seemingly knowing who I am 😂🎃
Do you have any problems with your LOR channels getting stuck “on” because of the LED floods? I’ve had this trouble in the past and not sure how to remedy it.
Not yet, I had an issue once with a few triac controllers going out (but this would just keep the lights from turning on at all). I send the box back to LOR for repairing this.
I love Halloween, and this is awesome 🎃
TIL, bulb string lights can shine through styrofoam. Pretty clever alchemist builds!
You did amazing man. Great job
Thanks, I have enjoyed your stuff for a while!

Good to know! I’m wondering if my LED spots were too low wattage. So ordered some 300W spots. We’ll see what happens 😆
